ima drop this here for anyone interested: this siren retains the classic wind-down sound because it's an older model. source: you can see in mrmatt's video that the plates connecting the stators and the motor are flat, whereas the new models have plates with fans connecting them. theory: this is a cs8 original to the system that wasn't faulty enough to warrant a replacement. i think the cs8s were either scrapped or sent back to secomak for repair and reselling.

I remember driving down this road with my parents not recognising anything 😂 about fifteen minutes before you arrived we drove past the police station and i saw the cs8 and said to my parents “YEAH THATS IT!!” 🤣🤣
@@obalarms I am also really shocked, as I said the other CS8s like West End, Carnwath, Forth and even the one at the Junction which has 2 jammed shutters (10 port jammed open, 12 port jammed shut) is still even louder! 🔊🤔

Possibly, or it might be a Klaxon CS8 due to them sounding quieter, but yeah I do think this is reverse wired
