In a city that has no business getting a new stadium never the less having an NFL team? Nobody should complain

Why dies it have to be a dome?
Stay home and watch on tv. Football is meant to be played in the elements. Everyone shows up to tailgate in any weather, so you're obviously prepared to takec3 hours more of it!

Our current stadium holds almost 80k.... the new one will hold 19k less just to increase box perks for those with money. Takes away from the blue collar atmosphere that is Buffalo.

      That's some interesting math.
      Current Highmark Stadium : 71,608
      New Highmark Stadium : 62,000
Reduction of 9,608 seats. Not 19,000.

@@ThomasBeecherII 1990s stadium numbers. Who cares smart a** lol its still some 14% less. All for a team in a small market without a lot of wealthy patrons and for a team that hasnt won anything yet. Its screwing the fans

It's not a bad deal really. Yea Taxpayers on the hook for 800+ but Pegula is on the hook for overruns which is gonna push this thing past 2 billion.

I have been screaming this ever since the first seat count was announced, they're leaving 12,000 eager paying fans at home for a shrunken seating experience that people can't afford on a repetitive basis. Talk about how to alienate your fan base this is it. One mediocre season and they wont get 30,000 to watch at these breathtaking prices. Don't even get me started on this seat licensing nonsense. Cervantes said. "Greed splits the money purse". There is some really bad thinking behind this project.

It will still be full it's just poor people like yourself won't be able to go. The problem in the stadium is there is no roof on it it should have a retractable roof.

@@PolymorphicBytes poor people don't really pay taxes.

    • @PolymorphicBytes
      @PolymorphicBytes Месяц назад +1

@@TheTree1 It's not that simple. There are federal and state taxes on many things that get ignored, because they are not income taxes.
Additionally, when it comes to business, all taxes are passed onto the consumers as the cost of the products/services.
However, you are correct when it comes to income taxes. Lower income people often receive returns greater than the taxes they pay as "earned income". I disagree with that practice. No on should receive anything in return unless they actually paid it. Redistributing wealth just comes back as higher costs for products/services. "Rich people" who own large businesses just pass it right back.
You think landlords do not factor taxes into rent? Think again. They must. So it is passed on.
The people that really get whacked are the middle class and small businesses, because they cannot afford the legal power (lawyers) to get out of them.
The other taxes that are slamming everyone are taxes on things like gasoline, cigarettes, alcohol, local fees and licenses, and do not eve get me started on the scam lotteries.

Tennessee, Chicago new stadiums look incredible, the model for the new KC stadium also.. LA atL etc. All better looking & not in the dam stix like Buff.. it shouldve been on the water, not irrelevant Orchard Park.. shouldve been a better company/architect hired to build it too, but its bUff so they're cheap af.. 62k seats is a joke & Pegula is selling off 25% cuz his wife is done, his duaggters dont want it nor do they want to deal with the inheritance tax & from a top employee of the bills Pegula supposedly has onset dementia so.... whoever buys 25% of the team will be the future outright owner, i also know thay Jerry Jones beverage company offered to buy the team from said source..

Can people be real and not just a silly fan...Buffalo should not have an NFL team in 2024...because of that you get what you get...downtown would have been great a dome would be great cheap seats would be wonderful...but the fact that a small rust belt city has a brand new stadium to lock in a NFL team for the next 30 years...happiness and satisfaction is all that you should be feeling...if not don't watch find a new hobby and move on...l enjoy watching the Bills I'd watch em in a high school stadium
