    marth is like that dad that goes out for milk however he eventfully returns home at the last minuet but its awkard how late he returns

    I'd argue the best Marth user is any powerful Magic unit.
    Divine Speed still works on tomes, that's a ton of damage. We'd be talking of reaching 2.5hko ranges once engaged.
    Break Defenses doesn't matter, perceptive doesn't matter and hey! You could still use Mercurius for Lodestar Rush 1rkos... Unless you use a MK, then it doesn't matter, but still, DS compensates it all.

    RE: Marth's Paralogue.
    Marth definitely aggros when the door is broken, and if you take too long clearing the other side of the map, eventually one of the units inside his room will go break the door. I think the door breaks the same turn that reinforcements start spawning at the map entry point.
    So there's a bit of time pressure on that map unless you deal with that warrior that breaks the door somehow. I don't know if it works but you could try an entrap to get him out of the room and kill him. But I also think attacking anything in the room also aggros the room so that might not work.

    You really should play relays. Rewards aside they can be a lot of fun. But the best part is seeing other people’s builds and play styles. The whole meta game is being defined there. As a content creator for this game it’d be a good source of info!

    Found a really interesting use case for Marth on Maddening. I utilized him on Axe/Lance Wyvern Boucheron which while engaged can break any standard weapon type since you have all 3 weapons. Allows for consistent break defense procs and has really good back and forth synergy with a warrior unit for Merciless procs and Boucheron’s chain attack passive. Pretty great for end game maps and can help Boucheron early if you use early game Mercurious for easier leveling. Also utilized Dawn engraving on silver axe to make Boucheron an avoid tank at the same time as well with Perceptive+. Ended up being one of my best units

    Marth with Celine is my all time favorite for a magic nuke. I also found him fun on warriors due to their class skill stacking with Marth break ability

    I think the only mystical unit it would maybe be worth using Marth on is Vidame!Celine.
    She struggles with Spd, so he’d help with that. Her HP sucks so the higher her Avo the better. More Dex means higher chance to proc Ignis too.
    She’s also the only mystical unit who can actually use swords, so she can Lodestar Rush to hit Res with weapons other than Marth’s Engage ones (maybe throw a Steel Blade on her and see how that goes lol)… It’d also be 7 chances to proc Ignis for extra damage

      Any unit can use Marth's swords when engaged. In fact, it's impossible to have Lodestar Rush available and not have at least the Rapier available.

      @@ProtoTypeFM The reason for Celine being the only good Mystical user of Marth is because she's the only one with access to the only Mystical-type class that can equip swords- and the reason that's relevant is because she can bring along a Steel/Silver Blade and do noticably more damage than Rapier/Mercurius/Falchion.

    Make a separate save file for doing the daily relay trials. Then come back to it after doing a couple of other runs.
    You can get an almost guaranted fist load of stat boosters per trial if you optimize your setup and make monsters like a pre-chapter 10 Louis with maxed out stats for solo auto-battling your maddening runs.

    Once Marth is at max level, with a power weapon that can Crit, no enemy without a revival stone can survive it.

    A trained up martial Master does really well with Marth. They tend to have more magic then strength, so his +str is a straight bonus to damage until it evens out the difference. You then also get your divine speed and break effects as brave attacks.

      Arts damage is based on the average of str and mag. If the unit only gets one of them, its literally wasting its stats.
      Eirika gives at the very least, 3 damage and a bonus on player phase, Celica gives 3 and 3 at 20 and it could make use of the mag.
      Marth alone only helps MMs to deal octuple zeros

      @marcoasturias8520 most Martial Masters will have higher magic then strength. Jean on my current run has 18 strength and 26 magic, so +4 strength would be a straight +4 damage.
      If you have one with even strength and magic then sure, you only get half the bonus to damage.

    Snipers and Archers are also Covert units, so the Covert bonus for Divine Speed isn't completely useless.

    Has anyone tried using lodestar rush with levin Sword? If lodestar rush did magic damage over physical with levin sword then Celine might be an interesting Marth user.

      You don't need to use Levin Sword for that. Marth's Lodestar Rush has a bonus effect for Mystical-type units that makes it use the Mag stat instead of the Str stat, so it works just like Levin Sword, even if the Mystical-type user doesn't have Levin Sword.

    Marth will open the doors when he gets bored on maddening, I don't know the exact trigger
    Mauvier is much stronger as a Levin sword mage knight than he is a flame lance anything (flame lance is so weak). Royal Knight and flame lance make Mauvier seem way worse than he actually is.
    I usually just end up sticking Marth on Mauvier because the rest of the team is already planned out at that point

    Don't really get Perceptive when there are two better avo skills on the same emblem

      Swords being locked to one range except for the Levin Sword and Wille Glanz means they probably aren’t the best option if stacking avoid, so I think you could make an argument that Perceptive can be better than Sword Avoid in that respect
