"They ink their catch on a rice paper right away so that once they are at the port people can see what kind of fish they caught ad its size too" .???. Come on, wouldn't it be much easier to just show the fish to the people? There got to be another reason that historians are unaware of. 😂😂😂
I mean, they didn't have cameras back in the day. This was a great way to record it accurately because you can't really manipulate the print, and it's not like you can keep a fish around for years
I imagine this is cause a big fush like that will obviously be sold for a good price and thus the priority might be to sell it as fresh as possible. Meaning you probably dont have that much time to show it to other people
