I absolutely love your videos. Jackson's sound feels heavier bass and highs, if you're beginner the Gio neck could be better despite a bit more plain sound and 5 modes pick ups you'll will use mode 4 most I guess. I'll probably go for Jackson's white or grey finished and I'll consider the thicker neck as a challenge even being a beginner as I am.

Amazing video my friend!! Both guitars are great!! I agree with you, the Jackson's riffing in first round sounded full and heavier than the Ibanezes. The Jackson has a fuller sound but I believe that in the fast runs, like in the second round, they get mixed up while in the Ibanez even if it's a bit more dry it sounds more fluent. Rock on!! 🙂🤟

  • @joehervey84

I have a js-22, it was between these 2 guitars. I think the Jackson has a fuller sound. The ibanez has a good tight sound but i guess it would come down to the neck feel n Bridge. I did deck the 2 point term on the Jackson so for me that's not a deciding issue. I did like the Ibanez tight sound but the bass kinda got lose a tad. The jackson neck pup ain't half bad imo

    Bridge:-
Ibanez GRG121dx has a fixed bridge while Jackson JS22 Dinky has a floating bridge.
Fixed bridge is easy to handle, guitar can be tuned and retuned on any tuning. Floating bridge is complex to handle, needs to be set up from back panel for changing the tunings.
Fixed bridge guitars are the better choice for playing drop tunings because changing the strings and tuning the guitar is all that's needed. Floating bridge guitars are a mess to handle because the configuration is very frustrating in case of drop tunings.
    Tone:-
Jackson JS22 Dinky has the old school bright and crunchy tone which defines the entire era of 80s thrash and 90s death metal.
Ibanez has a kind of flat yet loud tone which feels more like the era of late 90s/early 2000s nu metal and 2000s metalcore.

    • @davi90rtcb
      @davi90rtcb  3 дня назад

      Wow dude!
I loved your statement but let me tell something more about the bridge of the JS22.
It has a tremolo bridge which can be tricky with tuning stability but is not as hard as Floyd Rose bridge.
That is truly a mission when comes to tuning stability or even changing the strings.
      Thanks for passing by.

Depends. If you want to upgrade your guitar, go for Ibanez. Better quality body, better feel. Pickups not as good. If you don't want to upgrade, go for Jackson. Better sound straight up. But the playanility is not as good as the Ibanez. That is my two cents.
