Damn, I wish lessons like these were available when I studied فصحى pre-RUclips days. I know this is dialect, but perhaps I wouldn’t have sounded like the equivalent of a 1920’s newsreel announcer whenever I tried to speak Arabic. Great videos.
Dear Mr. Farid, shukran ktiir. Your lessons are really helpful and epic. Your are the amazing teacher!! Appreciate your hardworking and passion your are putting for your lessons!!
I wish you would repeat the Arabic more often. You introduce the expression then you repeat the English over and over. Rather than repeating the English, it would help if you repeated the Arabic. Otherwise the explanations are very helpful. Thank you.
Noted... Thanks!
Very good Ustaz
Thanks so much for another helpful video. I wish I could come to Jordan to take intensive classes, unfortunately I live down under!!

less english more arabic- more immersion. otherwise amazing content, you have a genuine levantine accent.
could you write out that phrase for us that you said for 'what do you want to do today?"
It's something like 'shu biddak tsaawi
il-yōm?'..... how would you write 'tsaawi' in the Arabic script?
Here it is:
شو بدّك تساوي اليوم؟
Note that the above verb is a Form III verb. It is used a lot, but not as much as the Form 2 verb from the same root, which is سوّى (this is past tense, 3rd person masc)
the letter that looks like a three what is it and are people using a 3 for it
You may be referring to the ع (ayn). In Spoken Arabic, it is frequently used as an abbreviation of على . So, instead of saying على بيتك Arabs will more often say عَ بيتك .
