3 Champs in 11 months is huge when talking about heavyweight. A division where the champ fights once every 2 yrs if your lucky. 205 and heavyweight don't live up to the "best fighting the best standard" of the ufc. Neither have this decade.

Dan Henderson vs Carlos Newton is one of those fights where you have to go back and watch it again. Under the modern criteria Newton would have absolutely won, it's very similar to the argument that people make for Randleman versus Rutten. But a punch delivered by Newton broke Henderson's jaw in this fight and he basically had to rely on his wrestling. Under different scoring criteria it is undoubtable that Carlos Newton would have become Canada's first and only Tournament Champion 🏆🇨🇦

Regardless if it was about damage back then, Henderson shouldn't have won that fight. Carlos Newton's record is also deceiving, it does not reflect what type of martial artist he was, he often faced men much bigger than he was and also fought many of the best in his era.

We have the same opinion on the Hendo knockout on bisping. My uncle ordered that ppv so I got to see it live and I lost my shit. I was super into the us vs uk season and I hated bisping watching that season, so when hendo knocked him into another dimension I was ecstatic!
The reason why the ufc was able to get out of debt at first was tuf..they said you got a 5k bonus for a ko or submission besides that you got nothing but be grateful to trying out for the ufc so they basically had a lot of those tuf fights for free
I am not sure GSP is the GOAT, but elite for sure. I always liked him both as a fighter in the ring, and around the sport. He always seemed respectful and had honor. Always touched gloves, congratulated his opponents, etc. Even when he kept getting called for low blows against Hughes, he apologized and really it was Matt that was lowering down so what would have been a thigh kick became an illegal hit.
The issue is that most had at least once fight in the UFC. There is Fedor, Bibiano Fernandez, but I can't really think of many more names that are notable.

Overeem's K-1 tournament victory was even more more impressive in that he broke Peter Aerts record for quickest total time in tournament victory. Aerts KOed everyone in the first round in the 1998 K-1 Grand Prix. Alistair did the same in the 2010 K-1 World Grand Prix, but in less time.
I have tendonitis in my knees from the carriers on the assembly line and bending to put things in the car and when I bang my knee it’s like bas said there’s nothing you can do it hurts for weeks after. I thank god my dad raised me to be tougher then shoe leather most quit after a couple weeks and can’t handle it.
