The West Coast group comes to where I live. When I listen to the east coast group online, it sounds exactly the same. And both groups sound exactly like the recordings. It just makes me wonder if we are really hearing a live show.....

It's because they are THAT good! I've heard mistakes or different nuances or changed vocal patterns or guitar runs at each show - it's not pre-recorded AT ALL. All live - it's just they are exceptional musicians.
