I live in Brazil, where most people dont buy foreign brand colognes so it still is a MONSTER compliment getter, and I think it will keep that way for years, unless it gets reformulated.

I have a small collection like 4 fragrances and this is one of them and I'm wearing it now, I'm finally getting use to it. I bought early this year so i can wear it all year especially in the hot weather. I absolutely loved it when i first smelled and bought it. My mother really liked it who's a beautiful woman and you would agree and also the lady at the counter liked it. We tried other popular fragrances and my mother still went with the Dior Sauvage. Now i love this fragrance and comfortable wearing it now. Compliments maybe getting less but it's still a good fragrance and maybe in my collection for a long time.
This is amazing, how you Jeremy are so charismatic and resilient. This is informative and fun.Clear and concise about fragrances. So helpful, as it gives useful direction on what to buy. Sauvage is successful bc it accomplishes what it aimes to do DO WELL!! Smelling Sauvage for the first time today. On my skin the opening is very fresh w/a little pepper, and spiciness/peppery vibe comes out more during the dry down.... On me this reads fresh, safe, clean, approachable, and little mysterious/fun bc of the slight sweetness and noticeable peppery spiciness! This fits me, and thus perfume feels so comfortable to me! That’s why I’ll probs purchase it! I don’t care if a million other wear it, this one fits me so well- even tho it’s nothing super unique or revolutionary
how is the performance ?
austin sauce Sauvage EDP performance is amazing! My skin chemistry gives 2-3 hours of high projection and then becomes a noticeable skin scent for several more hours. I have other people test performance bc I don’t want olfactory fatigue to affect my test. And yes, people smell it after several good hours

Hey, thanks for a review update. I don't usually comment much, though I do appreciate these and the comparisons, as well. Having lost my sense of smell shortly after becoming an adult, I usually just go with whatever feels the smoothest going into my nose. However, I like how you break down what notes are in them and how they compare. Whereas now, even though I'm unable to smell them myself, I can make a better-educated decision based on those factors.

I’m thinking about buying the Dior Sauvage EdT again, since it was my first experience in the fragrance game. I’ve always loved it. The ladies went crazy. But seriously there are too many guys with no idea what this is. Just wearing, not even fitting it.
Any reccomendations on how to apply the EDT, especially in a moderatly tight environment, like a classroom or airplane?

My fresh choice for summer is an oldie but a goodie is Leau de Issey , I feel a benchmark of summer fragrances, although Varvados Artisan Aqua is a refreshing scent for summer as well. But my edition that just arrived yesterday is Creeds Neroli Savage and it's a beast!!

Jeremy, I've been rocking the EDT for several months now. I use it every weekend or days I need a confidence boost. While it smells great for the first hour, it diminishes after a couple hours. I get ZERO compliments on it. I chose it over Bleu de Chanel because you mentioned it was the best fragrance for the spring/summer at the time I purchased it.
I feel like I've made a mistake in buying this fragrance. I bought it because I thought it would be the closer on getting a girl. Sadly, it hasn't. Maybe it's not strong enough?

Can anyone help me? Why do I have to make myself like Sauvage? I have a huge bottle I got from Macy's and I hear so much good about that particular fragrance. Yet I just can't bring myself to like it. I actually like my Spicebomb "FRESH" better in a way. Does the Sauvage smell different to others coming off of you then what you smell yourself?

I just can't find a better fragrance than dior sauvage, it smells so damn good. I just bought ysl la nuit de l'homme but i just doesn't beat sauvage.
I have this scent but the only problem is that it doesn’t last long and it doesn’t project very well. I spray 5 times one on each shoulder, one on the back of the neck and 1 on each side of the neck. What should I do? Should I spray more?

Jeremy, I think you should review the fragrances from Goldfield & Banks. The perfume house is Australian, and I have heard a lot of good things about them (especially their Pacific Rock Moss scent).
