    This is the same exact model (the LX) and color that I just purchased. I was a diehard Toyota fan for many years. This cars beats the Camry hands down. The 1.5L Turbo is fast and the CVT is smooth as silk. I test drove everything else in this price range and you'll never find anything that compares.

    • @sc3167
      @sc3167 5 лет назад +1

      I also just test drove both and although I like the Camry style more (2018 SE) I like the drive of the Honda (2018 LX) way better! I am now leaning more towards the LX!

    The touring trim seems to be the way to go. The base model lx is still very nice though. A significant improvement over my 2012 lx when I first bought it in terms of the features offered. My car didn't even come with Bluetooth! I'll wait a year or two before buying the 2018 Touring 2.0 L though. Prices will hopefully drop by then

    • @panzer_TZ
      @panzer_TZ 6 лет назад +1

      The funny part is that according(no pun intended) to the IIHS safety ratings, the 2017 Accords with halogens performed noticeably better at lighting further down the road than the LEDs on the 2017 touring. Hopefully Honda improved the LED headlight design over last year, because these LEDs may potentially be a downgrade.

      ezekiel1hen i think i read along time ago how some wavelengths of light are easier to see than others at night. I think red and yellow are easier to see than white and blue. That might be the reason why leds didnt seem brighter.

    Off topic question: What is with this dealership pin-striping all of their cars? Maybe it's just me but that's the tackiest thing that you can do to a new car.... it's not 1998 anymore.

    What would you say the main differences are between the LX and Sport 1.5T? I'm in the market for a 2018 Honda Accord but I can't decide between the LX and Sport 1.5T. Help me out lol

      The Sport is just an appearance package so if like the way it looks then it may be the one to go with.

    One of my girlfriends watched this video with me and she wants to know where she can get one of those pointing sticks you are using. She says it turns her on and wants me to use it on her. Can I ask where you purchased it? Thanks.

    They removed the rear air vents -.-, and they could have at least put a sensor on the drivers door to unlock it if they’re going to make push button start standard

      There is a strap behind a panel in the truck that will release the fuel door.

      I don't think there's a stap at all. The fuel door just a spring loaded cover so you press it to open, does it? No gas cap just like my 2016 Civic.

    With Honda's reliability history, I'm surprised that they killed the normally aspirated V6 and I4, in favor of only two I4's, both with Turbo's and Direct Injection. If you want reliability and durability, the better option is Toyota, their new engines are normally aspirated, but with BOTH, Direct and Multi-Port Injection, this gives them more power and mileage, but most importantly, they do away with Direct Injection only problems with intake valve carbon build up, as well as no potential Turbo problems and increased wear on the engine.
