at 1:21 it sounds like I mention 2 mods. That mod was Middle East Escalation and I realised it didn't make sense why I'd compare the two with suppression and what not so I removed the image but didn't have time today to fix up the recording (is my birthday)

ok yeah the writing is absolute shambles, but I barely do the main story and use alternate start mod and only focus on settlments hence why I love it so much. Thanks mate!

I just recently got GE and it’s been awesome, totally revived me to squad. Also idk if you knew this, but the majority of optics can be cycled between 1x and 4x using the F key.
The only problem Ge mod has is that enemy voip markers on left bottom
honestly they should remove the markers, might make it easier so you can't tell exactly that they're nearby

This mod looks great ...however if the player quality/comms sucks I can't see mayself reinstalling any time soon
that's fair enough. It can be a hit or miss at times depending on the server you play on
44th anglian server is nice on european evenings hours
yeah the mods just attract players that like less comms and teamplay same in the star wars mod. But yeah this mod attracts a lot of people that did not like the ico

i stopped playing global escalation because there was no aussie servers running it at the time and i couldnt bare with the 300 ping idk if they have an oce server running the mod
they do have an OCE server, the gameplay during the intro was an aussi server

is that the one with thermals for vehicles? because i've seen that and it looks pretty cool
@@Tantwo Yes it is. Right now weapon attachments like flashlights lasers and IR lasers are disabled due to bugs and the mod devs are working on fixing it but headlights and thermal sights for vics are working and NVG's for inf are working
I don't know if this is the mod but in global escalation i feel like all the rifles do less damage. Iike it took 4 shots to the chest to kill a guy yesterday.
Also yeah the comms are utter shite, its seems to have filtered out all the less strategic players.

As much as people like to shit on MoiDawg the potato fields GE server is phenomenal in terms of teamwork. One of the few servers I’ve actually won as attacker on

I hate the gameplay loop of squad, some games are awesome, but most of them are walking simulators.
The mod would be even better if they added proper aa like stingers to balance CAs

I would play global escalation if it wasn't 85% or more invasion
every single youtuber that shilled ICO couple of months ago finally accepted the truth that it sucks and that it ruined the game.
Honestly for me it just made the game more strategic. So good SL's matter more. Which is probably why the habs on global escalation are so shitty alot of the time.

@@strahinja9760 SLs will learn what works and change their strategy accordingly. People definitely change over time
RUclipsrs are the only opinions that matter? The majority of the community is pro ICO and it’s the seething veterans that hate on it because it’s not their nostalgia rush.

Squad is overrated
If anything it is underrated, especially because of Arma eating into its market share.
@@apoorvatripathi7304Arma as a franchise has existed long before Squad. And no Squad isn't underrated, it has a large player base. Considering the slow and clunky gameplay (especially the movement) I think the game is overrated, but to each their own.
@@apoorvatripathi7304 That's like saying Tarkov is eating into the Call of Duty market 😂 Squad and Arma might have the same idea behind the game, but the way you play them is just not the same. Squad is like Arma but for McNamara's Morons. They're not played the same way in practice. I'd say Squad is rated appropriately at this point in time. People aren't unreasonably upset with its current state, and new players are somehow still buying the game. It's in a very sustainable state, but it isn't the best game ever.
