Isonzo is a first-person shooter video game. It is a team-based multiplayer game set on the Italian Front during World War I. It was released on Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on September 13, 2022. It is the sequel to Verdun and Tannenberg.

Yes Isonzo also has automatic weapons but I meant it has a lack of them compared to BF1
In Australia we don't cover the civil war except maybe briefly and it's essentially summarised as sl*vry (have to censor word cause youtube no like) and that the union won. Only thing about American history we learned about is thanksgiving but I barely remember anything about it.
I love this game series so much. It just sucks that Verdun and Tannenberg experience such low player counts
I wish they didn’t fuck their own work with shitty forced AI and fragmenting their niche playerbase to make what could easily have been dlc for Verdun I used to absolutely love these games but now it’s hard to get into a good game on all 3 games
@@corruptpolitician4533 yeah i think you are completely right about a fragmented player base. Also, I have Verdun on both PC and Console and i find that at times console actually has more populated servers at times since it has cross play between Xbox and PS. Obviously I still prefer to play on PC though.
@@simonkimberly6956 I only play on Xbox and as of yesterday verdun and isonzo have about the same amount (half a server and maybe a a few other 1-2 player servers) Of active players and tannenberg only has 1 with 8-12 players max it’s so sad because the franchise probably would have been amazing if it held onto a stable playerbase

Is Verdun and Tannenberg better than Isonzo? I've been sinking a lot of time into Isonzo and love the style of game
In any case, this game is better than bf1. The weaponry and gameplay are more realistic and authentic. Love it!! I thought it was dead

I'm having a blast with Isonzo lately. Not only that, but Verdun and Tannenberg are really good too!
The biggest problem with these games is the lack of players. I would like if BlackMill Games doesn't release another title in a few years instead of finding a way to compile all the content into the same game that doesn't fragment the playerbase.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. Maybe there would be at least 1 full server to play at a time.
I agree, if they combined it into 1 game it would be really good but I'm sure there are technical reasons as to why they can't do it, hopefully their next release could be built around incorporating Isonzo into their new game.
@@Tantwo I think it started as a missed opportunity but then they wanted to add more to the series but didn’t think about how their games already have a niche player base and now they’ve kinda fucked their own game. Who knows hopefully they are passionate enough to try and turn it around.

It's not morbid, if we forget, we are doomed to repeat it. Always remember the horrors these Soldiers had to go trough on either Sides. When you play, here and there, give a thought how People actually witnessed this for Real, people around them being here in one Second, and gone in the next, and appreciate what they did for us.

Love watching some more Isonzo, it's a really captivating game to me with all its neat historical weaponry and unique setting. A historical shooter centered around mountain fighting just sucks me in. It's not something I play everyday, but like RS2 I think I'll always enjoy jumping on.
I seriously love this game. Its a shame its just not as well known. Blackmill needs a better advertisement team. But its awesome. Like an interactive history lesson.

I don't like watching Isonzo gameplay because I can't ever see anybody that you're shooting at unless you're 5m away from them. I really don't know why it bothers me so much, but it's kept me from buying the game too.
You should buy it, its a really good game
really? it might be the video editing, it's very easy to see people in this game imo, you don't get shot 100m away from a bush camper like in Squad
It way easier to see if you are playing up close to your screen.

I like the game, i dont like the fov. Any tips anyone? Do i just gotta get used to it or what? Im only halfway decent if im quick enough to grab the sniper with the scope before someone else does
