- Now that I have found you
In the coolth of your evening smile
The shade of your parasol
And your love flows through me
Though I drink at your pool
I burn for you, I burn for
You and I are lovers
When night time folds around our bed
In peace we sleep entwined
And your love flows through me
Though an ocean soothes my head
I burn for you, I burn for
Stars will fall from dark skies
As ancient rocks are turning
Quiet fills the room
And your love flows through me
Though I lie here so still
I burn for you, I burn for you
I burn...

Sting's best song.
I love this song and the man !!!
My favourite version of this great song. Thanks!
Great movie and great song.
Some of Stewart’s best playing love this!!!
Oh thank you so much! :* I'm very glad that you like it! For me this is the best song EVER. And amazing that it's one of the first song he has ever written!
Outstanding presentation!! Thanks for the lyrics to this haunting, longing song. A very brave and provocative film...thank you!!
Such great memories 😊🎉❤
@000mario000dsas
It's from the Ghost in the Machine recording session, which was done in Montserrat.
Watch Stewarts's "Evryone Stares" film and you'll see the context.
Thank you for this video.

No, the Patricia character was never molested by her father. The father was cheating on her mother, yes, but the images of fantasy and reality were woven together throughout the film.
Sexuality can be very dark, but incest played no role in 1982's "Brimstone and Treacle."
Great version of a great song. :D
Well... actually I cannot agree with You :) Of course this is ThePolice version and I tagged it as "The Police" - my UTube title is a sort of tribute to Last Exit... But - it was written in 1975 (i.e. 7 years before Brimestone&Treacle) and was played many times by Sting and Last Exit. The track didn't make it to 'Zenyatta Mondatta' - not to 'Ghost In the Machine' as far as I know.
This is a great song. Fucked up movie though...
@KellyGreen5555 Very astute response and correction. The witnessing by her, of her father, with another woman instead of her mother, traumatized her into a seemingly catatonic state. Sting's "tonic" seemed the catalyst that woke her up... I sit corrected!! Thank You!!! ;-)
Although it's basically a love song, it sounds like it could also be about a mystical religious experience like St. John of the Cross.
Yes, well, he's striking. Doesn't mean we fucked.
Back when sting was actually cool...
Haven't seen the movie in about 25 years but I seem to recall a scene where he abused a girl in a coma. I was only a kid and yes, well weird...
No... actually Sting wrote it when he was only 2 years old, under the piano, while spluttering something like... do do do da da da :))
beigeph nah...
This is The Police version
play the drums stewart, this version not play Last Exist, is the police version
A-1
....his best song aside from his work with Eberhard ! no wonder the RC didn't like it...
