I have the same brand dishwasher purchased in September 2023. It's a great way to use compared to helping hands which aren't available when we mostly need, especially during festivals...U will need a full week to adjust yourself to the machine and will feel more work at first as it's not what we usually do ,but later it becomes very habitual and easy,as we get experienced using different utensils.About the timings there are multiple options depending upon how soiled /dry stained your utensils are...for continuous everyday use there is Turbo option which is 1.4 hours (including steam+extra dry) which u can reduce to 38 mins,even okay for full load but utensils should be freshly used as the time stamp is less.All positive but u need a week minimum to adjust to the machine 🙂👍

Personally, I prefer using the TURBO cycle for moderately soiled utensils, which lasts for about 1.5 hours.
2. Regarding electricity consumption, the exact rate depends on factors such as the model, cycle duration, and local electricity cost. From my experience, I've noticed an additional electricity cost of approximately Rs 250-350 for 2 loads per day. Although this is not an exact figure, my estimation suggests that my machine consumes about 1 kWh per cycle, totaling around 60 units per month. At Rs 5.5 per unit, this amounts to roughly Rs 330 per month.
3. It's important to use cleaners specifically designed for dishwashers. You can't use normal handwashing cleaners.
4. Additionally, compared to washing machines, dishwashers generate minimal noise, primarily from the water sprinkling on the utensils, which is easily tolerable."

It depends on the family size. As we are only 3 members in the family, sometimes only one load required for the whole day. So, yes I keep the dishes collected either in the sink or place them in the dishwasher. But if you have a big family or you have enough utensils to wash after each meal, you can do multiple loads throughout the day.

No, this is the same model which I have been using for past 4 years but in different colour. Yes, I will highly recommend buying a dishwasher as it provides best cleaning and better than hand washing. The dishwasher does not resume from the exact point of interruption but from the phase of the washing cycle. For example, if the power goes off during the pre-washing phase, it will start from the beginning. However, if the cycle has progressed to the washing or drying phase before a power interruption, it will resume from the start of the washing/drying phase, which is the mid or end phase, rather than from the beginning of the entire cycle.
Thank you so much. I have actually noticed this with LG washing machines as well. If there is a power cut during the spinning cycle it starts at the beginning of that cycle. In my machine it is the last 16 minutes. For example if there is a power cut at 6 minutes remaining it will resume at 16 minutes remaining.

Only con about this LG dishwasher is lack of a separate 3rd cutlery rack like Bosch. The cutlery basket occupies too much space & loading them in the collapsible trays on the top rack is a hassle

I have made the vinegar+dish washing liquid+water solution for my kitchen countertop that you suggested and whenever I let it sit there for extra minutes for some stubborn stains, it leaves a white cast behind. U need to fix 16A heavy duty socket , 2 way Angel valve (if u want to use same tap for both washing machine and dishwasher)
Aluminium and non stick can’t be washed
Tablets use finish they are good and getting at a less cost then Ifb and bosch

If not, you will have to check with a local plumber as it depends on how much plumbing and electrical work is required. Labor charges also vary from area to area. Finish or Vim all-in-one tablets are the best!
You can't wash Nonstick, Aluminium, Iron, Wood and low grade plastic utesils.

You have not mentioned the issue when the electricity goes in between the running cycle instead of running from where it stopped, it started all over again...one of the major drawbacks...lg does any improvement to combat the problem??

I think it's logically and practically correct. Example if your dishwasher was heated at the time of power cut , it can not remain heated during power cut. Dishwasher will need time to come back to that temperature after power is back. Another Example If it was in middle of soap foam wash and the power cut off, it will drain or dry the soap in till power is back. Dishwasher will need extra water to resume in the condition. Instead dishwasher starts from beginning to avoid stains and clear output

Price is Rs, 52990 . Nonstick, Aluminium, Iron, Wood and low grade plastic utensils can't be washed in dishwashers.

Hey Hi Ashu, I am Gauri, I have purchased IFB 16place setting dishwasher 5 months back, i have used IFB dishwashing products & Fortune products till now but i don’t get such sparkling clean utensils every time, sometimes white stains are there & most of the times i have to scrub stubborn stains first & then put it in dishwasher otherwise it comes out dirty. Can you plz tell me what I might be doing wrong ? & plz tell me which brands products do you use for your dishwasher?
In IFB you have to set the salt setting according to your water hardness.. Which is clearly mentioned in the instructions book. And always use a long cycle (eco or intensive). Don't use super 50, which uses more electricity compared to ECO mode and gives dull results.

Basically we don't have hard water here. In 5 months, I am on my 2nd kg pack of salt which is till present inside m/c. May I know, which dishwasher are you using & what products?

It is not advisable to wash Nonstick, Aluminium, Iron and Wooden utensils in the dishwasher.
High grade plastic, Steel, glass, ceramic can be washed in dishwashers.
You can easily wash large size cookware also.

You have not talked about the size of the dishwasher. Which dishwasher would be good for 4 family members. Also do we need scrubbing before placing. What dishwasher do food particles where they get collected? May we use non stick pans ?
No need to scrub, remove ood particle before load. In case there r some particles the drain of the dishwasher has a filter which u can clean 7-10days in once
For family of 4 you can use 14 plate settings. No scrubbing required but please remove any leftover food from the vessels and dishes. All the food goes into drainage but you need to clean the filter once in 15 days.

I use 1.30 hr cycle
It varies from cycle to cycle. It can take 1 to 3 hours depending on cycle you choose.
Does it resumes its work from same point when electricity goes
This dishwasher does not resume from the exact point of interruption but from the phase of the washing cycle. For example, if the power goes off during the pre-washing phase, it will start from the beginning. However, if the cycle has progressed to the washing or drying phase before a power interruption, it will resume from the start of the washing/drying phase, which is the mid or end phase, rather than from the beginning of the entire cycle.
