I saw this during the 2019 season of Beste Zangers. Nightwish had not performed this song since Tarja left in 2005. They did again perform the song last year (along with Henk, who back in the day had been Andrew Lloyd Webber's favourite in the role of the Phantom.)
Yes, they were flirting. Floor went to see the Phantom of the Opera when she was a teenager and the Phantom she saw was Henk Poort. (the Dutch Phantom). She had an immediate cruch. If you want ot hear more Henk he sings Sound of Silence on the show.
If it's tears you're looking for, check out from the same show Henk and Emma Heesters (the younger lady on the couch) duet of Vivo Per Lei. I guarantee you wont get away with dry eyes.
This is my favourite Floor performance, up there with the infamous GLS at Wacken. Her voice here is just top top notch, amazing, everything I love about her voice, she's showcasing here here spectacularly. The portomento's ugh, superb. I 100x prefer this one to the more recent Ziggodome one. She's doing something with her voice there that I don't necessarily love, a technique? A hot potato sound, I dunno. Love this here though ARGH SO GOOD

At her solo concert in Amsterdam, last year in The Netherlands with Nightwish, and this year when Floor opened for Metallica. The Nightwish version from last year is my favorite of those. The 2005 version with Tarja and Marko is my favorite overall, because of Marko. Henk , here at Beste Zengers, also performed a cover of Sound of Silence, the Disturbed version.

I love both male and female vocals equally well in both. To me, Marco has a sinister sound while Henk sounds demanding. Both Phantoms play well off of their female counterparts. Furthermore, to me, both Tarja and Floor utterly blow the roof off with their versions of Christine. Ok, if you've not done so, yet you are more than ready for "Greatest Show On Earth" (live, of course). One is recorded live at Tampere the other is recorded live at Wembly. Pick your poison, both are incredible versions of this, perhaps Nightwish's greatest masterpiece! Be very sure to turn on the subtitles!!! Y.O.U. W.I.L.L. T.E.A.R. U.P. by the ending verses. This Beste Zangers is the best performance and video of all the Phantom performances...Marko and Tarja in 2005 (This is my second pick because of Marco), Any Floor and Henk with Nightwish performance, and Floor with Henk in the Amsterdam Live 2021 concert just do not convey the essence of the Broadway musical. Actually, during the recording of this song there was a thunderstorm, and it rained so heavily that they almost didn't go through with it. Due to water and electricity not matching ... You can see the water through the roof leaking, if you manage to take your eyes off of Floor and Henk. In the original, without this raindrop screen.
