  • Another awesome shop upgrade is here! I recently got a Rhino Cart from Strong Hand Tools along with the 66-piece fixturing kit and a few other accessories. This is super exciting for me because I have always had improvised or undersized welding tables/surfaces - and certainly nothing of this caliber. Now, this is a heavy piece of equipment so I took my time unpacking and assembling it.

Love that table. Keep at it! I’m sure people will catch on soon that you’re not just on instagram.

I think I met you at Jimmy’s. Thinking about grabbing one of those carts. Hope you’re still digging it.

Hey, yeah I think we did meet! I still love this cart. It’s been a huge upgrade for me capability wise without taking up all the space in my shop. The new 3’x5’ Rhino cart looks awesome, but for me this one’s the perfect size.

whats the underside of the actual welding surface like , is it reinforced or just a plain sheet of steel

There is a structure underneath it, essentially a frame with some cross braces all made of 1/8” steel but the tabletop itself is 5/8” thick solid steel so it’s very very sturdy. No flex, no give, no play.
