    I’ve used Redken anti snap religiously for the past year, I’ve got bleached hair often I stay blonde but other times I like to play with bright colours and it has saved my hair along with the whole Redken extreme line. Especially he mega mask. I highly recommend to anyone who colours their hair, it’s a must have product.

    How often should you use it a week on bleached hair, I heard overusing protein hair can make ur hair brittle. Would 2-3 times a week be good?

    I'm so glad someone make a video about how to use this product because Redken's explanation wasn't at all helpful. lol According to this video, I've been using about 6 to 8 times more product than I should have because I thought I needed to cover all of my hair. Yikes! I can't help but wonder, though, does more ethnic, porous hair need more than two squirts bc the two squirts, even combing through, isn't enough to get even just the last 2 inches of my mid-back hair, muchless the whole head. I could really use some help. :( Also, I used the shampoo and conditioner with it and my hair is more dry than if I use the Treseme Keratin shampoo and conditioner. Why is my hair so dry from using this product line? @cheveux_haircutters

      You can ... I’ve been using it on my hair and oh my gosh, the difference is undeniable. It’s softer I’ve got less tangled. Even when brushing less has come out.
      I’ve just bought the entire range because if this on its own did that, then I’m pretty sure my hair gon’ be well juicy!!
      Looking to do a review when I’ve tried them all.
      Bought the Olaplex system and I like the bond smoother for hydration, but in terms of bond strengthening and making my hair feel super soft I’m with Redkin all the way.
      I like the bond smoother from Olaplex... I use a little of it because it feels like a good moisturiser, probably not for that but my hair is digging it at the moment.
      Olaplex bond smoother and Redkin anti-snap are my top hit products currently. Although I can’t see me ever letting go of the anti snap and I hope it stays on the market FOREVER!!

    I love the extreme line, but for the anti snap I'm not sure if I am using this the right way. I have thick long hair. I've been using it on damp hair. I put my it's a 10 leave-in in first and then on the ends I add the anti snap and comb everything through then blow dry. After I'm done blow dry my ends are so hard and detangle. I know my end do not need to be cut because I got my hair cut a week before using the anti snap. any suggestions. What am I doing wrong, Is this product for my hair. Thank you

    • @cheveuxhaircutters7799
      @cheveuxhaircutters7799  5 лет назад +1

      Hello. Thanks for writing. I usually put the Anti Snap into wet hair, comb it through and then dry ( on my clients hair, not mine....I'm bald!). I couldn't quite understand what you put n before that. 10 leave in? Let me know what you put in first and I'll write back. That product may be causing the hardness of the hair. But in saying that, protein can leave the hair feeling hard / brittle. What colour is your hair? Have you got any bleach in it?

    What’s the difference between Pillow Talk & Anti Snap? Which is better for bleached, fine, hair for fullness, heat tool protectant, anti breakage? thx!

    • @cheveuxhaircutters7799
      @cheveuxhaircutters7799  5 лет назад +1

      Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Both of those products do different things. Anti snap is purely a leave in Protein treatment. I wouldn’t use it for heat protection. It is great for bleached hair. I don’t find it ways the hair down at all, but it will get your hair in better condition, which may cause the hair to be flat. Pillow is going to be better for heat protection, but could weigh the hair down. I’d be inclined to use a tiny bit of both.

      Hello Jesse. You raise a good point. With 33 years of experience, I’m still trying to find the “ correct “ way to comb or brush hair when it’s wet. Personally, I think different types of hair can handle different things. It’s best to go with what you feel works best with your hair.

    Can you use Redken Antisnap on chemically straightened hair?

    • @cheveuxhaircutters7799
      @cheveuxhaircutters7799  5 лет назад +3

      That is a very good question Christine. To be honest, I’m not sure. I can’t imagine why not. But without knowing the exact details of the product and service that was done on your hair, I couldn’t be sure. But, it is a leave in protein treatment, so if your hair needs protein, it could possibly be the product you need.

    • @cheveuxhaircutters7799
      @cheveuxhaircutters7799  6 лет назад +7

      No it doesn't. This goes into the hair after you get out of the shower. So shampoo and condition your hair as normal. When you get out, towel dry the hair. Then put in a couple of pumps, comb through ( gently ) and leave in the hair. You can add other products and style your hair as you wish. I would use the Redken Extreme range with this if your hair is dry and brittle. Let me know how you go. Happy to help. Thanks for contacting us.
