I turned off my watch radar for a while because I put myself on financial lockdown! I worked a ton of overtime this last year and purchased 3 great Rolex watches this summer. Now it’s time to just enjoy my watches. Maybe next summer I’ll pick up a VC overseas gen 3 blue dial- best regards
I love the GO PanomaticLunar. Although I love the blue the most, I think the safest bet would be the white dial. Have you considered a manual wind H. Moser? Pre owned of course. Moser completely blows me away.
Sorry man, but those who say Glashütte original is a poor man’s Lange dishonour the brand. All those cheap connonations should mean jack to those who know Glashütte, the region, their brands and what each brings to the table. Wear and choose what YOU like... same goes for the champagne color Tudor. If you want to rock that one, do it man! I will like you even more for your bold choice and original flavour!
An excellent list, Bruce! The Speedmaster Professional and Oris 65 (Green) are on my long-term list too, but currently drooling over the Junghans max bill Automatic (Ref. Nr. 027/4700.00).
The Panomatic Lunar was on my radar for awhile, and might make it back on. Only thing that caused me to reconsider was that sort of Lange homage stigma it can have. But it is such a beautiful watch in person! I'd go with the anthracite dial, hands down. The metallic gray sunburst is vivid and striking, and plus, gray is a neutral color, so if you're gonna wear it to dress up, it would go well with a black or a blue suit.
The Seiko Marinemaster looks awesome in blue! My watch wishlist is way longer :D also contains the Marinemaster (but with green dial), Seiko Monster, Timex Marlin, ... (my list only contains watches below $1000).
My “next one” is hopefully going to be a Nomos Tangente, the 35mm handwound with a sapphire caseback. I should be able to get it around the spring after I get my annual bonus. Hopefully also in the next year or so I am hoping to pick up a Stowa Flieger 36mm. After that I think my collection will honestly be pretty well complete
My gshock band broke recently after 6 years of hard use. Naturally it was time to decide whether to replace the band or put that money toward a new watch. I bought a CASIO Duro last month and just today I got my first mechanical and first automatic, a Seiko SNK809
Nice video! I'm debating on two pilot watches. At the high end I've tried on the IWC Spitfire automatic. That's more than I've ever spent on a watch and I have cold feet. About five times cheaper I'm considering the MKII Crucible which looks almost the same. Thoughts?
Thanks for this fun video...The MarineMaster looks very good to me but I have the Seiko Marine Master SBDX001 so it’s time for a dress watch. My choice is the GS Snowflake Spring Drive
It's always exciting when chasing THE next watch. Instead of boring you all here with what I look after, I rather comment your favorites, if I may. What I would buy is Oris -the one with silver/grey dial! Don't know what's in your collection right now, but this watch would stand out for sure and won't become boring in two months. The rest (except Glasshute) looks just.. average. Glasshutte (if that's your formal pick) must be black (or is dark grey?) of course! But moon phase in white just doesn't fit in my eyes. Enjoy with whatever you'll buy :-)
Native San Franciscan here. I met Steve Young once in 1994 at USF law school graduation. Very cool guy! Go Niners! You must get BB BLACK AND GOLD WITH THE CHAMPAGNE DIAL! You must pair this watch with a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible and a solid gold Fondue Set.
I've had that champagne dial s&g. Sold it to a friend. Now I regret it so much! It was such a characterful watch. Extremely warm and beautiful! Now even after owning many rolexes ever since (inluding a 126711CHNR), I am going to buy it back
I have the oris 65 bico . You will not regret it .. It is probably the most balanced watched I have ever owned . The deep dark blue lacquered dial and the bronze tones that turn brownish over time really make it pop. I've just recently took it off the bracelet and put it on a distressed leather strap . Wow is all I have to say . Up next on my radar is a Panerai radiomir black seal 3 day .
I got the champagne tudor and its super cool , navy blue dress loves this subtle two tone and the black bezel tires it to most outfits . It's a little big However not as top heavy as the Seiko mm300 and if you can sport it I recommend.
Big vote on the Glashütte! Spent 20 minutes with it at WatchTime NYC just recently. Think it’s legit higher horology that can be had for an awesome price. A Lange light.
there's always a running list for the "next" acquisition. For me I've been mulling the following. 1. Oris Diver's 65 Green 42mm. Though getting another Aquis is tempting me, I'm trying not to do doubles 2. Christopher Ward C65, not sure which yet, perhaps the new GMT in white. 3. Omega Speemaster, just not sure if I want the sapphire moonwatch, the racing or the moonphase. Actually the blue moonphase is special but priced kinda high IMO/ 4. Hublot Classic Fusion 5. Glashutte Original 60s with textured dial. 6. Classic Breitling Navitimer I hope #s 1 and 2 will come soon, the others will prob come after a wait.
My next piece will be a Tudor for sure. Either the Black Bay Steel or the Chrono. As a Glashütte Original PanoLunar owner, you can’t go wrong. It’s an absolute beautiful piece. Blue dial for sure.
Bruce, in Flemish we say : ‘ change of food stimulates the appetite...’ so why not look into something completely diffrent...? I said it before, the Tudor glamour doubledate os on my radar, if only I could find info beyond stock pictures. Why has no one reviewed this one yet? Does it even exist....?
Great vid Bruce - agree with first two, but I’ll just have to take your word on the SG Tudor. GO PML is awesome and I can’t take my eyes off the BiCo though I’m leery of having a green wrist lol
Hey Bruce, my wife surprised me by saying, that the green alpinist is a gorgeous looking watch and I should get one. So I will as my next purchase :) I am looking at the ML Aikon in 42 but I am also torn to spend some money on an instant gratification which I need to avoid in order to save up for the ML. Recently I have tried out an Oris Aquis GMT and the GBR3 and I was disapointed from the quality, bezel action and movement operation of the aquis line. I was expecting more considering that everyone is praising ORIS and saying it rivals Omega which I would say it does not. Have you had similar feelings with an Aquis or do you have other experience? Thanks and keep up the good work! BTW. what happened to that GP Laureato you wanted to acquire?
I have 3 Tissot and one Omega on my radar. First up is the Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium 18K Gold. Specifically the one with the cream opalin dial. Next up is the Omega Railmaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer. With these two watches I get two absolutely awesome movements, totally gorgeous looks and a grail :) Next is the Tissot Couturier Automatic Chronograph the rosegold black dial version to complement my Couturier small seconds :) Then there's the Tissot Excellence Automatic 18K Gold with the blue gradient dial, very classic design with a workhorse in the back - and solid gold case that noone would suspect :)
You have great taste. The Oris, the GO, and the Omega are on my list.....I just got the Oris Pointer Date, and have a SZSC005 and a Hamilton Jazzmster Viewmatc on the way. So my watch budget is currently depleted. I thought I could wait and try to spend more for a higher dollar piece but there are too many great watches to be had between $500 and $1500 that I really like.
Glashutte blow me away . Spent time in AD looking and trying on they are just so impressive . The Tudor is fantastic.over the years owned a few bbs and pelagos but the bbs were stupidly sold several years ago. . Recently brought in bb58 and gmt and I love them . Character charm and a connection I just don’t get from my modern Rolexes definitely keepers this time .65 is one of my daily wears to work . It really is quite charming..
white glassy (moonphase and seconds hand look superior in blue)! oris with the digits (they deform beautifully in that domed saphire), the bronze isn't on bracelet for a reason but boy it makes that blue pop because of case colour.
I think my next will be a Omega speedy, like you.. I don’t have a chronograph in my collection so I think it makes sense. Buuuuut I love the Tudor BB Bronze Bucherer, although I already have a diver (not rly a real one with my orient blue ray 2)... Grand Seiko is also under the radar... it can be dressy or sporty, but I also have a Seiko SARB033 for that.. hard times... so many nice watches...
The Tudor has a 500 dollar flash sale on Jomashop for the exact gold one. It was on leather strap but it was stupid cheap. I've got the black bay blue bezel in house and I have the new 300M Seamaster black dial on bracelet. I'm thinking about doing the same sapphire sandwich moonwatch. That'll make me quite happy 😁
I'm stuck in a 70's funk, my next watch will likely be another King Seiko, Grand seiko or I might try to hunt down a Genta cased Omega Constellation. Modern watches aren't doing much for me at the moment.
@@BruceWilliams I found an older Senator Sixties in Rose Gold. I picked it up for a low price as it was not properly functioning when I bought it. I will be taking it to a watch maker to have it looked at, but at the deal I got it for I will pay for any repairs. I also plan on taking it to an AD potentially to have it authenticated, as it is a 46 jewel movement, uncommon for GO. I can email you with a few photos if you'd like.
Great Video! I’d be happy with anything on your list😊but the MM blue dial and bezel would be a sweet piece for sure. I recently saw a beautiful Tudor GMT Pepsi on a Jubilee bracelet so so nice 👍
All great watches, Own the Speedy and it really is great get that first....and your right about the 65, it is not great on paper but dang in person it has charm I liken to my Explorer ii (40mm).
My AD has guaranteed me a 114060 Sub, so I’ll see if that turns up. Also considering a Seiko SPB051. Found it at an AD for £600, everywhere else I looked are charging full retail £1000.
about your list: the Glashutte Original is, in my opinion, on another league compared to all the others... so there's not choice if you ask me. Said that, today I've bought a Maurice Lacroix Aikon... and I'm in love with it
Personally i would go for the omega or tudor ive tried the tudor black bay and the north flag and i can say the detail is really good and the omega well its omega the caseback is amazing didnt know they came like that the glashutte is beautiful as well
1.Pick up the marine master 2. Buy the steel and gold oris, scratch two itches at once and save money by doing so for 3. The blue dial Glashutte. Because blue.
Just bought a Breitling Super Ocean II 42 mm and it is on its way. Never been a Breitling guy for unknown reasons, so I went for the Breitling over the Omega Seamaster just to try something else.
My next purchase would probably be a Omega Aqua Terra, or Tudor Black Bay 58, or Omega Seamaster white dial, or a ...... i don't know for sure really. But first, saving up money and selling other pieces.
Some on my list include an Oris Great Barrier Reef III, a JLC polaris Memovox and a Grand Seiko Snowflake... Moving into haute horlogery, i am on the list for F. P. journe's chronometre bleu, so maybe it's really happening in like 3 years, but if not, i think of maybe a Vacheron Constantin Overseas. Or, if i really don't buy any watch for the next few years, i may go for a Grönefeld, because i really love that brand... But yeah, not quite sure, if i go for one very expensive watch or a few less expenensive ones, and it depends on my financial situation.
@@leyay7540 Yes, i hope so too, as it was already rather hard to get onto one, beause i was a little late and a few of the boutiques i called had already closed theirs. And, as much as i love Journe, i don't feel like paying double the retail is justified. But i guess I'll see, how that will turn out.
@@BruceWilliams Thank you! Yours isn't half bad either, especially that Glashütte Original! And, i have to admit, my collection is missing an Omage Speedmaster as well, so maybe i should get that on my list as well.
@@finkejak Although its blue dial is truly mesmerizing, I also won't pay the crazy premium for it. I just got a Credor Eichi II, which I think no less attractive.
Out of all those watch, I have a need... a need for SPEED! I have been mulling over if I should get the other green dial seiko5, srpd61, I have the 63, which is killer dial, but grass is always greener
Tennessee Mike it is trust me i think my movement is the 72 hour power reserve so is good for 1000 bucks i got it for 40% off tho my next watch is prolly gonna be an omega but yea the hamilton is really good
@@deadlypredator3 I got 37% off retail on the Viewmatc and about same discount on Khaki. For a while I thought I was going to get a Aqua Terra but I just depleted my watch fund for the Viewmatc, SZSC005, and an Oris Pointer date.
In all honestly I haven't given it that much thought since I don't keep the same list or even buy what I set out too save up for. But if I had to pick one or two watches one being the affordable and the other being my absolute one and done watch. They would be the Zelos HORIZONS GMT 200M BRONZE METEORITE and the Rolex Submariner Black Dial with date. But if I were to come across the one watch to be all to end all for me it would have to be the GS Spring Drive GMT SBGE001.
I'm down to seven core watches -- my lowest level in four years. I did go look at the Tudor Black Bay and was impressed with the blue bezel variant. My opinion of that watch has definitely turned around as I thought they were hideous when they first came out. And of course, I'm still mulling over that white-dial Damasko DA43 or 47 but I'm afraid that I'll tire of its somber cheerlessness over time. But mostly, I think I'm winding down (pun intended, ar ar). Tired of the constant churn of the collection, and tired of endlessly worrying about it. I've got a Planet Ocean, a Speedmaster, a Sumo, and a Laco as my regular rotation. Add in a few G-Shocks for outdoor activities and that should be enough to keep me happy for years. I also have an SXK007 and an Orange Monster, but I never wear them and there's probably not enough financial incentive to flip them. I've also learned my lesson: no more green watches. I lust after them, acquire them, and then find them sitting alone, unworn, in the watch box for months.
I love the DA47 but you nailed it. It has a somber cheerlessness to it over time. Best to mix it up when the austere feeling gets too strong. Love your rotation man!
That would be a lovely pick up! Kudos for your patience
Great list Bruce! Thanks for drawing my attention to the Seiko MM300 with ceramic bezel :)
Hoping to own an oris big crown pointer date with the blue dial or a panerai radiomir in the next year.
I love the GO PanomaticLunar. Although I love the blue the most, I think the safest bet would be the white dial. Have you considered a manual wind H. Moser? Pre owned of course. Moser completely blows me away.
I would love to see a Moser as well... Need to plan a trip to Vegas. They are the closest area to me with all the big players

@Donell McClure it is when the original is 30grand
The sapphire sandwich was my first luxury watch. It’s one of my favorites in my collection. Highly recommended.
I agree, great choice. Do it Bruce.
I would say the Glashuttle or Speedmaster although I am leaning toward the Speedmaster.
An excellent list, Bruce! The Speedmaster Professional and Oris 65 (Green) are on my long-term list too, but currently drooling over the Junghans max bill Automatic (Ref. Nr. 027/4700.00).

SBDC061, Mini Marinemaster!
Im looking into few peices like Longines hydroconquest 44mm blue, Seiko sumo 3rd gen green and orient triton blue.
I like the Glashutte w the white dial. Super classy!
Just picked up the S&G champagne and it and feels and looks fantastic on wrist.
Got to try one w similar dial Tudor six months ago and was surprised how much I liked it. Very warm color. Not ostentatious.
The oris 65 40mm black and blue is great watch , the dial is mesmerising
My gshock band broke recently after 6 years of hard use. Naturally it was time to decide whether to replace the band or put that money toward a new watch. I bought a CASIO Duro last month and just today I got my first mechanical and first automatic, a Seiko SNK809
Just discovered the Seiko SARB037 with the Salmon dial and I can't get that thing out of my head. It's nearly impossible to find one though.😩
Oh man that one is tough to come by!
The SARX055 but I can't make up my mind. No retailers stock it in my area so won't be able to look at it in person before I buy it. Any advice?
watch all the reviews on yt lol

I saw a spitfire recently and it looked outstanding. Can't speak to the MK2
Bruce Williams The MKII is online only. They do not have retail locations.
Thanks for this fun video...The MarineMaster looks very good to me but I have the Seiko Marine Master SBDX001 so it’s time for a dress watch. My choice is the GS Snowflake Spring Drive

@@MrMarkworld ... the North Flag is a very underrated watch and not super popular. It's the only modern Tudor I like.
My next purchase would probably be a Omega Aqua Terra, or Tudor Black Bay 58, or Omega Seamaster white dial, or a ...... i don't know for sure really. But first, saving up money and selling other pieces.
I can't wait to see the white dial smpc!
@@BruceWilliams Me too, Bruce. I think it's going to be a stunner of a watch
Also looking forward to see you and Random together, sorry to hear it didn’t work out...
Rescheduled for this coming weekend!
Bruce Williams It’ll be a Seiko fest for sure!
I vote glashutte that one is a banger!
I like where you are at!
I hope you can get the FPJ CB as you expected, but from what I've heard, FPJ has discarded the waiting list of it.
The grass is always greener good point
I’m super interested in the new Hamilton Khaki Mechanical in PVD. That thing looks fantastic
Tanner Murdock i have a jazzmaster open heart and i can say hamilton is really good
It looks so good 👌
In have a Khaki Field....and have a Jazz Master Viewmatc coming. Hamilton a great value proposition IMO.
Breitling superocean 🤗😃
In all honestly I haven't given it that much thought since I don't keep the same list or even buy what I set out too save up for. But if I had to pick one or two watches one being the affordable and the other being my absolute one and done watch. They would be the Zelos HORIZONS GMT 200M BRONZE METEORITE and the Rolex Submariner Black Dial with date. But if I were to come across the one watch to be all to end all for me it would have to be the GS Spring Drive GMT SBGE001.
Dream: Rolex BLRO

@@BruceWilliams
I know he sold me his "Vintage" Aged IP G-shock Full metal Square.
Breguet type xx
Save up for a Lange, scratch the itch with something cheap for now
I'm down to seven core watches -- my lowest level in four years.
Wote for champagne dial!
Rolex explorer 214270 and G Shock GW5000 1jf, g shock will be the easier one to find lol.
Tudor nope-- don’t get capped gold
