Wonderful ice cream 🍨 I used shredded pecan nuts instead of cookies and added a teaspoon of unflavored Vodka to the base to improve texture: the alcohol prevents some of the ice crystals from forming, which makes the ice cream softer and creamer. Thanks for another delicious recipe!!! 🥰🍧🥂
Thank you for the tip of adding vodka to the base. I've made it with and without the vodka, but I added 1 tablespoon instead of 1 teaspoon. The texture is sooo much better with the vodka, very creamy. 😋
I made this using blueberries instead. Pity it was a hot weather the day I decided to make this, my cream din get whipped up. But it is still creamy and yums!

I've never made ice cream before. This ice cream is fantastic. I blended granulated sucrose to make confectioners and doubled it bc I have such a bad sweet tooth. I omitted the cookie since I didn't have any but I bet if I had it, it would've been out of this world. I loved all the sweet, tangy strawberries. I shared it with my husband, 2 year old, and mom. They love it. It didn't have the same exact consistency as store bought ice cream, however will be more than sufficient when any craving strikes. It's heads and shoulders over Halo top ice cream. Thank you for the beautiful video. I'm certain I'll be making this again.
I tried a quick fix for icecream recipe. added 50 to 60g of plain creamcheese A dash of vanilla 2 to 3g chia 4 to 5 frozen strawberries(i froze whoel strawberries) 2 tbs erythritol mix erythritol and creamcheese make it silky and mooth then add chia and chopped strawberry- mix all well use some chopped nuts for decor its like molten icecream . same works with powdered sweetner/ sugar(for those not on keto) it was bomb!
This was absolutely the BEST ice cream Keto or not.... that my husband and I have ever had!!! You would NEVER know that it was “low carb keto” I bought the freezer container that you used as well. Thank you for your delicious recipes and wonderful videos!!
Really like those pecan biscuits - pleasantly surprised by how much like a lovely shortbread they are. I've never had success putting vodka into ice cream to prevent/lessen iciness. Put a whole tablespoon of it in once to no avail. Anyway, I've made this lovely looking ice cream, it's freezing now and I'll sample tomorrow. Your recipes are particularly good = loved cream cheese flan cake. My special occasion cake now, thankyou.

Bing just got an idea. Before I started Keto and understood proper diet. I made my own Greek yogurt by adding sweetened condensed milk. Once it was done I added vanilla bean paste and wildflower honey. I stopped that. I strain it to the point it's as thick as cream cheese then add back a little water to cream it. Now I'm going to try making your condensed milk and add it to my yogurt. Still add the VBP and some keto sweetener of choice to taste.
