The Wooded Beardsman what gun is in this video and does Wes have a RUclips channel
Where can I find the other channel that is spoke on in this video that shows more of the harvesting process??
@@pugwithahat5684 Yup, look under Wes S...Wes would be the guy to ask about the gun!
Eu o convido vim aqui no Brasil. Quero lhe ensinar cozinhar um tatu.
I would like to know also. I have a few 'dillos tearin up my front yard.
Perfectly good deer walks right by and you want an armadillo. Geesh
Spike Morbid didn’t look like he had a gun with him now did it?
Videos catching and cooking armadillos arent as common as catching n cooking deer. Yes he's a woodsman but he also wants them RUclips views!
😭😭😭
Easier to catch an armadillo with a net then a deer.
would you catch a deer with net?
I'm so glad I don't have to hunt for my food, like I don't even know where chicken nuggets live in the forrest
Smurf Boi I saw him last time in the forest
@@xionxion8926 did you catch the chicken nuggie Pokemon? 🐣
LOL!!!!!
I found ice-creams in the forest.
Nuggets my little man . Live in top of trees you don't see them because thier green with the skin on. Thier difficult to clean cause thier so small. But they lay eggs in nest in the trees hatch baby nuggets. And McDonald's goes hunting them in winter time . With straws armed with paper walds. When they sing they sound like rice crispy with milk over them. And that's where they live in the forest
Wes reminds me of my grandpa, man I can't explain how much I miss him
Rip sorry 4 ur loss
I truly appreciate his candor, it so refreshing. He has a humbleness that's hard to dismiss, just uncanny. God bless.
Salute to him for acknowledging the brother for showing him how to make that corn staple. This is how we bridge gaps. We all want to eat. No need to be selfish because this earth has enough for all of us. Sometimes we just need help figuring that out.
Facts!
Yup its the cycle of life
We need to stop modern females from eating too much.
The average size of them now rivals baby elephants.
I caught a ARMADILLO single handedly and kept it for a pet for about 3 weeks & Finally let it Go Now it Keeps coming back😂😂😂 #ALABAMA
Lil Uzi it’s your new pet now
😂😂😂 that's kinda cute !
When I hear ALABAMA I think of sum else lol

This dude’s about to start the next pandemic.

Yeah, says the white guy who's eaten raw sea foods and sushi. I guess any animal out the about only 5 you guys have decided is food isn't food just cus you say so. Foh
You have no clue what you're talking about
dude he literally said the diseases they carry can be purified if cooked since its bacteria....
The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life..!.!.’z

Being a country boy from Texas, I can appreciate this video. I've eaten armadillo more than once and I laughed when you could tell how tasteless it can be. We just never had that hard of a time catching one. lol
“I’ll come up to Canada when there is no mosquitos and no snow” Ok, so never then 😂

That old man who gave the cornbread recipe is a legend

That corn bread story was so touching I felt that
Yeah.. Ok
I can vouch for that old hot-water cornbread recipe! EZ to make, cook, and eat! AUTHENTIC!
He really just said “man of color”
@@malikwebb5698 whats wrong with that?
Lol no respect for the man didn't even ask the man his name. Just take his recipe and advice and never ask the man his name.. what a shame
I miss those days! I used to go hunting and eating them too as a kid in the country side with my cousins. Thanks for this video!!

Hi
I watched the full video and I also waited to watch the cleaning process but unfortunately I couldn't watch it. Thanks I enjoyed!
I'm honored to be a part of the Wooded Beardsman Family... Love the content and energy and dedication to the making of every video...
wes s story on the man that showed him the recipe you can tell that story means alot to him especially since he never got his name
Bill G yeah i can tell it’s important to him since it shows there’s always good people out there
My grandmother ( from Guatemala ) use to eat and cooked armadillos for us in the shell. Cutting the bottom of the dillo off , skinning and placing the meat back in the shell after cleaning the inside of the shell. Mixing tomatoe , onion , seasons and covering with tin foil putting it on coals in the back yard for 3 hours it's ready to eat. It's amazing and simple food that people never think of eating. Good on yah for showing people to never be afraid of eating animals that they are afraid of.
Been watching Bob on his RUclips channel and happy to see him doing well. Very concerned about his eye condition. Wes, you both deserve mayor thumbs up,stay healthy and blessing.
Sharon how are you, can I ask you a question?
Beans n cornbread is a cornerstone of America!
It's actually cornerstone in Nigeria( beans and bread )
I was watching "they Call me Trinity" when I remembered how important beans and cornbread are..
@John KimberI give AFs about Nigeria 😜
I’m happy back then this dude could really bond w/ a colored man especially back then you know so respect to him I’m a man of color so it makes me real happy to hear a story like that
So was I.
We are NOT called colored! We are African Americans.
Colored?
it's like watching matt from fisherman's life in different reality where he's chowing bush meat and conversing with cheech.
He was so hungry he forgot to ask the dude's name great cornbread story tho😂
“Dinosaurs might have peed on that” 😂 that dude was cracking me up
Also, the Bob guy has eaten too many armadillos
Why I’m i watching this I’m never going to catch a armadillo😭
Asked myself the same question
They are fast. Not easy to catch. Have to be smarter than the armadillo
@@michaelanderson1859 they are also like blind. One ran straight into my feet trying to hide from me. I felt bad so i didn't kill it
Hello
Lil Robbie she myn bro
I think if we all experience living like this we would definitely become better people.
Then after we are done with all animals, we can zombie on one another. There's no winning.
Bruh that cornbread looks like some 🔥
Wes is one hell of a character! Very funny and wise man.
Do you know the name of Wes’s channel?
Boone’s Life ”Wes S” i think
Kool dud
It's called, hot water cornbread,my grandma use to make is all the time!!😄😄
Mine too, and I still do. That was one of the worst looking examples of it I've seen. But presentation aside, its as good a quick bread as there is to be had.

That Story About How Your Friend Learn How To Make Cornbread Put A Smile On My Face
any type of disaster economic failure or any emergency guess who's surviving ? this guy right here and people like him with the knowledge and hard working skills we should all learn this instead of letting the government do it all for us
I don't think this guy will be surviving long with his body parts falling off of him or him stuffing his pockets full of flowers because of him decaying and dying from the boo bonnac plague.
I'm here for the Cornbread story.
My mom made this dish once, she boiled the meat for 2 hours then she let it rest!, after seasoning it she put it in a roasting pan and stuffed it with yams and sweet onions!, then drizzled it with salt and pepper!, she put it in the oven for an hour and a half!, when done the meat is roasted and tender and sweet like a tangy bbq flavor!..It's a great recipe for wild game.
Hope she didn't feed you armadillo :)
Yes it was armadillo!, it tasted like pork!..I'm a Texan too!..
Hi Baby
This is a Jem I'm just now finding. I get emotional when I hear older gentlemen recalling stories the remember vividly and that had an impact. The older black man who showed him how to make corn bread was great
During the depression, armadillo was referred to as "the poor man's pork".
Nice
Since I was made redundant that’s what I call my penis on tinder
Hahahaha
AKA "Hoover Hog"
Now they are "hillbilly speedbumps". By the way originally we gave lepracy to Armadillos, it spread between them so they now basically give it back.
Right before he missed it the first time you can hear his heart beating then jump up in speed when he gets close.
Pokemons are not meant to be eaten
Faisal Asiri 🙄 have u seen Pokemon there's episodes where they eat them. Yikes
I don't know about you but I would eat pikachu
Idk about you but That bulbasaur looks like a tasty turtle
Pokemon name should be Armadealer. He shoots cards from his hand like gambit. Psychic/magical ability
Faisal Asiri don’t know about you but I could eat a gyarados steak right about now.
Im loving this fella, the texan , he feels soo authentic n sweet, i bet he got stories to tell
It’s a year later, are you guys still healthy!?
"A herd of Easter Bunnies!" LMAORF!
Good stuff. . . Can’t say enough how much I appreciate this content.
Being from Central America, I have eaten armadillo many times. But I had never seen it prepared the way you guys did. We always charbroiled it with the shell on and the meat exposed over the fire. I remember the smell of the meat cooking and the sound of the fat dripping into the fire. And you are right, it tastes like bird, probably like a fatty duck or turkey meat. Thanks for the video.
GIVE THIS MAN A THUMS UP !!!!!!!!
Where’s unlisted channel to watch the cleaning process
You don;t need an unlisted channel to clean game on You Tube son.
manniefaces you do if you wanna make money. Son
I add honey to my corn bread batter, add a bit of sweetness to it and its great with chili and ham and bean soup.
I'm gonna stick to my chicken, beef and pork.
What about turtle?
If I were wealthy id eat that also but all I can say is ill stick to my eggs beans and cup noodles.
I'll eat whatever falls on my plate
If i don't like it then im just being picky
You don't like any sea food you're missing out.
Beardsman doesn't care if you don't subscribe but I do. Hit the subscribe button! This channel is awesome!
are armadillos not endangered
weenus elbow no 😂😂
yeah i looked it up after i posted this comment rip
Wes kind of looks like a younger version of Chong from Cheech and Chong
Macaroni lol no bs
lol, for sure!
I was thinking just yesterday when I watched the racoon video that the other guy sounds like him too :)

Bless Wes🤝🏽🙏🔥
"Armadillo are super rare"
Also him : Lets kill it and eat it 🙃
They also carry leprosy
I never want to kill any animal because always the jungles looks nice with animals not empty
Y'all are really brave to eat that animal knowing that y'all could possibly get Leprosy from it.
they probably over cook it to make sure it safe. Usually eatting is not dangerous if cooked but the process of skinning it is. Parasite from the host's blood can go to your eyes and mouth
I agree too, i guess it just the adventure of catch and eat..
Love the cornbread story now that’s America 🇺🇸
You'll have to change name of channel to wooded leper!! Lol. Awesome video, cheers Beardsman
Hey man where I'm from in the caribbean (Trinidad) armadillo is a delicacy, (called tattoo here) we make it curried or stewed and let me tell u it's amazing lol
"I knew a man who cooked armadillo , taste so sweet he called it pie ". Guy Clark from Texas Cookin cd
Buddy you went from eatin ontario speckle trout to "armadillas" !! LOL ! What a weird looking critter. Keep it up beardsman. Do some more ice fishing vids this winter though, okay? Those are some of my favorite, hanging around the fire etc
The armadillo's furry belly is perhaps the weirdest part to me. Imagine flipping a turtle over and it had chest hair....
I was surprised by all that hair down there as well, didn't expect that.
And here I am rewatching all the playlists
Really awesome to see you both having a great time. Used to live in San Benito, TX and I used to take my friends on adventures just like this on bicycles and cheap Mexican slingshots (homemade pocket shots) in hand. You could also find Chile del Monte around there to have with your meat and cut up some nopales (taste a little like okra)‼️Also down dirt roads where I knew dogs would be to scare my friends to death as they chased us 😁😂‼️ I really miss cooking with mesquite and eating real fajitas not roast cut into strips made to look like it here in Kentucky 🤦♂️
Pos come back to the valley bro it hasn’t changed especially the great adventures 😎
10:09 damm he was minding his own business that's wild
Now that is some one bushy as* armadillo
Let me in
I wonder if this species are endemic? Extincting? So it is eligle to hunt?
I kept watching for Cheeh Marin to come out and eat with you and Tommy Chong.
Yeah I thought it was tommy Chong the whole time
God bless Wes. You're awesome
grew up catchin dillas and eatin them up around moody
Its the best way to live life Peaceful, easy ,content and free!..
Thanks for coming, Wes! You got a new subscriber.
makattak88 thank you!
Just gotta cook the leprosy outta that armadillo and yer good to go!
Where is the other channel. I want to see the cleaning of the armadillo
U find out?
He had to delete it, all of the content of the other channel is now available for members
Supposed to carry a can of spray paint so you can mark the flattened ones on your way through so when you come back through you'll be able to tell which ones are fresh.
You and west make one hell of a funny, educational and fun video
Hahahahahaa I love how the man cooking cornbread tells the camera that a man of color taught him instead of just saying a man taught him lol
black people make the best cornbread why would he leave that out
Wes’ corn bread looks so damn good. Just like how hole in the wall restaurants are the best, the DIY type woodsman food like that corn bread are always the best tasting food I’ve ever had and idk what it is but it’s just so much better than store made stuff
Great video brotha 😎 West Texan here, much respect a Canadian down here and in the south exploring during our freezing summer🔥🔥🔥
19:00 So this man Wes says he nearly stepped on a rattlesnake in a previous video. And in this particular video 12:08, he nearly drops his knife on his foot. I wonder how many other near misses has befallen this soul.
That's a good comment
Hey, put your "unlisted" channel, with the graphical stuff into you desciption pls.
Ok ppl i have a confession it’s 4 in the morning I’ve never seen any of these animals in real life i live in the city but I am oddly obsessed with catch and videos so here I am feeding my obsession😂😂😂
Wes is a cool dude man. Been waitin for the Armadilla!
I was born and raised in south Florida. I caught a few armadillos but never ate one.
Bro I dont think people normally eat them they carry sickness
Great video, brother. Found you through Fowler. Glad I did.
1:25 u hear his heart beat😂 primal instincts kickin in
12:10 Texan almost skewers his own foot with a bowie knife.
that's a buck knife not a bowie knife ;)
My bad.
tacticool kid its a bowie. Buck knife is a company....
no a bowie knife is denoted by a large heavy blade and traditional clip point with a dull swedge, suited for self-defense and general woodcraft/camping purposes (Bob has a Bowie knife) while Buck may be the brand, Wes' knife would be classified as a skinning/hunting knife with a modified clip point-upswept tip more suitable for skinning game rather than piercing with a forward thrust like with a Bowie knife. Buck is well known for their 110 and 119 knifes, (Wes' is the 119) which are probably the most iconic hunting/skinning knifes in existence whereasthe Bowie is iconic as Jim Bowie's knife which was designed to be general purpose/heavybladed/self-defense
Texan uses bowie knife perfectly because almost only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.
Bro you could hear his heart beating in the first minute in the video
great to see wes s
The cornbread story is so wholesome
Lmfaoooo I’m showing this to my all black friends
Based
And you guys will criticise chinese people?
We are very aware of what we eat, we take very good care of our food unlike china where food is left in the open as a free gateway for diseases
10:18
Yea those Chinese have those open markets meat just hangs their it’s like 80 degrees outside there is flys all over the meat plus car and coal exhaust and you expect no diseases? 😂
Ahxed but chinese live longer
What is the link to your "unlisted channel"??
I was hoping to find that answer as well. No updates ey?
Im addicted to this channel. Brilliant!! Leprosy? Ah boil it for few hours and fingers crossed.... Great suuff , my kind of cool folk.

It's an rat with armored hide! W the hell man
still makes for good eating, although theres a high risk of leprosy in armadIIIos
