Bit late in replying to you but i met him by chance in Southport and trust me...he IS a nice bloke. Chatted for ten minutes...no impressions tho...he was on a BBC shoot for the ONE SHOW about his car...a Ford Cortina mark4...i didn't recognise him at first and asked him what was going on...when he turned round i said to him 'Oh...I think I recognise your face!' He replied 'yes...Jon...Jon Culshaw.' When the crew were ready to continue filming he shook my hand and said:' Nice chatting to you Brigadier!'
@@frankburns8946 I used to live in Southport and you do get to meet the odd celebrity. I was in Tesco in Southport about 4 years ago and noticed Derek Acorah in with his wifey, both sporting matching florescent tracksuits. Drove off in a red mini. Sadly not too long after he passed.
Jon Culshaw's Nigel Farage is surprisingly good! Not every impersonator can quite get the accent right for Farage so it's refreshing to hear someone do him well.
"if we're all still here" very funny. Hope we are. Can't believe how quickly he goes into character. It's instant. This takes such skill. A lot of impersonators have to warm up and bit. Very clever man.
He is indeed, a wonderful man. Can you imagine how many times he’s asked to do impressions on the spot . Even when he’s going for a quiet walk or a trip to tescos . Someone, somewhere, will come up to him and say “ can you do frank Bruno ?!” Etc . I bet he’s never disappointed anyone yet ! Always happy to oblige and provide humour in a harmless and extremely engaging, effective way. I wish the interviewer was a bit more responsive though ! There was no “ feedback “ at all, from him ! His trump and Boris Johnson are unbelievable. And I agree; his natural voice sounds like a morph of 10 impressions!! Remarkable talent 👍

@@petercarrington948 all is forgiven. I had to add a description to explain the one microphone situation. Had a lot of similar comments over the last 6 years. Met Jon again last month and we laughed about it all
I can't remember who said it but it's true when they said you need to have affection for the person you impersonate, unlike Jons better impressions he feels the need to inject his opinion into his Farage and Trump which is why it falls flat

I've never heard a good impersonation of Nigel Farage, and this one is no exception.
Culshaw 's Farage has improved since this video.
