Looks great! Would love to have something like this for my daily work bag. Am curious about your design process. Do you do test builds to make sure everything will work, or do you just come up with your plan/pattern and hope for the best? Thanks for sharing your art!
I usually just come up with the patterns and and start making the items. I make adjustments along the way if needed. But some times I screw up badly and have to restart. On large items like this I usually make a paper mock up if I have trouble with figuring out the pattern or scale of the item.

what type of glue did you use? nice video
I am using contact adhesive. This is the same type of glue a cobbler would use to repair shoes.

Looks good, but why the fake buckles? why not just sew them in properly? Those magnetic clasps don't hold.
I would have gone with proper sew in buckles too. But this was a commissioned item and the customer requested for magnetic buttons.

its 2mm thick pull up leather.
