Hi nice dancing...going on the NCL Prima in December can't wait. Looking forward to you doing the tour of the Prima so I can see the whole ship before I get there. I'll be 50 in February so I don't party. I usually see the 6pm show,, the 8pm dinner seating, then back to my room and watch tv.
Hey J. Prima nightlife. 2 couples dancing. Casino. Karaoke looked empty. Metropolitan bar is beautiful. The Prima looks like a beautiful ship but looks like you gotta travel with your own group and make your own fun. Give it another chance in the Caribbean. Ok. One spot kinda pumping. The Metropolitan was busy bc of the bartender The Chocolate Cowboy. I had never heard of him but apparently he has worked with NCL for quite a while and has quite the fan base!

Jay, I was booked on the Jan 22, 2023 PRIMA cruise and NCL canceled that cruise for a private charter. A total bummer. I rebooked for a cruise in March.
Man someone must have had some money to charter the Prima...loll
I’m sailing in Prima in March. We can’t wait to go.
For my prima sailing, there was like a solo traveler meet and greet listed in the freestyle daily, but the couple of times that I went to its location, it didn't seem like there was an event going on. Kind of looked it wasn't even planned.

Beautiful ship hopefully the crowds will be there once they do some carribean sailings because the clubs and outdoor nightlife should be jamming lol
Great videos and love the honesty. The ship overlook looks really beat. How is the club? Syn Norman's with the dj looks to be the place to be after hours but still a joke compared to every other ship I was on.
Lucky you, on my last NCL all those areas where filled with drunk or high kids. After midnight it was the swingers.

The crowd seems to be a relatively younger crowd, not the usual senior/retired crowd. The ship looks modern and cute. I am considering a Prima cruise.......Thank you for all the information.

wow Jay you found the party hehe :) looks like so much fun :) when the video started, I thought you were in a public area of the ship, then realised you were walking through your cabin, wow oh wow it's enormous :) do you have a cabin tour on your site??

I'd take this all with a grain of salt. If what you say about the occupancy is true, then that is less than half the normal amount of people the ship would normally have. In addition, the cold weather typically dampens the mood greatly (coming from someone who sails out of NYC in the winter months). I'd also say it sometimes depends on if it was an extremely early port day as well, as I've seen some days where people have to be up at 7:30 or 8am for excursions and it hurts the night life as people are dead tired by the time 11pm-midnight comes around.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, and definitely try again in the October sailing if that is going to a much warmer climate.

The inside of the cruise ship looks like Star Trek USS Enterprise.
The issue here is half capacity and if it’s a port day tomorrow, your a season cruiser you got to realize that! If it’s a port day and people have port excursions early in the morning, they stay get up
so sad by the time I found out the release of this and the Viva we already have cruises scheduled with Royal and Carnival and I don't want to cancel those to go on these 😭😭😭 but I want to go on these so bad lol

Honestly love the music at the club, I never hear dance music like that for more than 2 songs in a row on Carnival.

Why didn’t you try out the Vegas nightclub? Whenever I go on NCL Bliss is always packed after midnight so I’d think it’d be the same since it is it’s replacement
Have seen lots of great comments about the comedians. They should have designed Improv & Syd Norman's lots bigger. Maybe future Prima class ships will be amended. I thought I saw on the daily program that the comedians do daytime shows too. I don't know how you didn't get invited on the travel agent/YT first cruise. Seems they're not up to date who the RUclipsrs are with more than 50K followers. Maybe they'll make it up to you and offer you a free cruise. But you did miss Kool& the Gang and Chaka Khan, dang it
Is this cruis booked to allowed capacity? I always think the people at the party make the party. I dance and socialize because I want a lively time. When I don't feel like partying, off to my room I go. Some nights are better depending on shore the day befor or after. I am booked on Prima 10/15 and I expect to have a good time. Your info is helpful as well.

Huh. Interesting. I’m surprised the casino is so empty, but then you said there were only 1500 passengers on board and probably better than half are asleep at 10pm. NCL seems to trend a little older.

To be fair, NCL Prima "nightlife" is a really poor title for this video. I suspect the port/destination has a much larger impact on the excitement level of nightlife, age of passengers, and so on...

Whether the night life sucks is a matter of preference. You wouldn't like what I find entertaining, it would be too sedate for your liking.
I agree 100%. Personally I like a nice blend but obviously being a younger guy that’s a professional hip hop dancer I love something a little more upbeat. That could change 20 years from now. However I do enjoy interactive events, comedy shows and a nice jazz or blues live band from time to time. All of it comes down to preference

I think you miss the point of night life. To party and have fun, otherwise find a quiet bar or stay indoors. Clubs are to party don't ruin it for the younger crowd

Some enjoy musicals, some enjoy rock, some enjoy motown, some enjoy soft relaxing music., some like to dance, some like to sit and listen, some like to do physical activities for entertainment. Everyone's idea of entertainment is different. It is a matter of preference.
@@high-pov2670 What you're describing is casual, nightlife is considered something else and obviously for younger people if you're not into that stuff. There are plenty of lounges with your personal settings but clubs are more energetic and in the younger world that's the nightlife
