First off, I want to thank Jeremiah for turning me into a completely different human than when he found me. Despite the friction over the last episodes, I will always love JB and forever be grateful to what he has done for me. I also want thank you, so very much for making this series come to life. 11 completely free films over 4 years has been/will be the greatest accomplishment of my life. Your support has made this a legacy. The last thing is this one airs as AD FREE, no mid roll ads to get in the way. If you felt like this was worth a donation, it goes to help cover the crazy costs behind these projects of passion. www.paypal.com/paypalme/vegancyclist ❤❤❤
I feel like the JB schtick has worn out its welcome. I understand every good story needs an antagonist but shouldn't that be the course rather than your supposed partner? Someone endangering your well being out of sheer stupidity seems best avoided.
I understand the competitive spirit and like handling your trauma through sports and stuff (hell, I was a collegiate athlete back in my day so I get it), but man... when you're on such a beautiful route and doing something epic, "friendly" competition is like the limit. Seeing JB just need to be the biggest wang at every moment along the way kinda detracted from the video, and I'm sure made the experience in real-life a bit of a bummer. I know you try to present these videos in a positive, fun and truly awesome light, but several moments in this were a tough watch. That being said, what a fucking adventure. some of the scenery, the gold mine incident, getting insane coffee at a toll station in the mountains... I would give anything for that experience. Great video VC!
You know these Impossible Routes aren't just about VC, right? VC wanted to get a free ride on a truck for 10 minutes, very much against the spirit of actually doing a hard ride when a person is just holding onto a truck. Meanwhile his friend and riding companion was some feet back and not getting a free ride and having to work his ass off to keep up. Then he got pissed and just put in a hard effort and passed the truck. Me personally I don't see the problem in that. They both made decisions in that moment, one to hitch a free ride on a truck and the other to put in hard effort and just drop the guy hitching the free ride. Since VC does the edits he doesn't really tell JB's side of the story much if ever, so one must be aware that they are watching a video primarily through 1 person's point of view.
Completely agree. VC is so much more enjoyable to hear from and watch. Jeremiah seems like he was not loved as a child. Kind of sad to see him act out repeatedly. The adventure was cool, but truthfully had to turn it off a couple of times because of him. Great adventure. Maybe find a different partner VC?
JB is a guy who failed to win at the highest levels of competition and feels awful about that, so now he goes and tries to show everyone that he’s some hot shot climbing a mountain. Like you’re smoking a dude you’re supposed to ride with, what kind of awful human being does that?
You guys are reading too much into this. Any of us would do the same thing as JB when on such a ride. It's brotherly competition. That's it. JB was just ribbing VC. JB puts in the work and has always been an absolute beast. He has the gift that most of us don't. He has carried VC along for several years now and VC has gotten SOOOO much stronger, but sometimes the teacher needs to show the student who's boss......and what's possible.
All 11 of these films are free to watch, on this one I used music true to the country, but this means the ad revenue is given to the label of the artists. I hate the money begging side of this business but If you thought the quality of the edit was worth a donation, it honestly does way more than you will ever know. www.paypal.com/paypalme/vegancyclist ❤❤❤
You should sell these movies to Netflix Or HBO! The quality of your movies amazes me every time. Until your content reaches such parties Im happy to donate❤️
Sorry Tyler, that you had to endure your hardest ride ever. Add to that the careless, condescending, narcissistic attitude of Jeremiah. If you never invited him on another ride, I believe most of us here support you. You can do better, bro. Thousands of us can’t be wrong! He said it best, sometimes you have to do the hard things. FANTASTIC video, Tyler. My hat is off to all you do to promote your channel and representing the cycling community. KUDOS!!!
I edit video for a living, and I am so curious about the filming process. Do the riders have support? Does VC have to set up a cam, backtrack, and then ride past the cam, then backtrack to pick up the cam? Any tidbits you can share would be awesome.
@@editdroid99 all the above. We have to capture when the crew is not able to access. How many do a behind-the-scenes edit which should be really neat because it shows Ben and Alex riding on the trailer behind Oscar’s truck and that’s how some of the follow shots where we chase our cashers. We often also find many hours where we see no one. As the crew jumps ahead for gas or cannot access areas like the river crossing.
@@editdroid99 From the video I think they had a 4X4 support vehicle. No doubt it was was very hard for them to catch VC+JB on the decent's. Even petrol engines are going to be fucking weezing at 17000 feet!
Not a real friend. Tbh i think JB has really shown that he has a super big ego, and he's on these projects just cause it ups his celebrity. If this wasn't filmed or public, JB would've told VC to pound sand! It's really sad that some people are super narcissistic this way.
I think the idea that he should throttle his pace to support VC in some symbolic way (what would be the actual benefit outside of moral support?) is silly. Him going on ahead has potential life-saving benefits, as things could be really bad if they were both picked up.
Dude also was willing to intentionally go against his guide’s warnings regarding filming in the gold mine. Maybe it was his ego as an American citizen that he wouldn’t be hurt, or his ignorance of the cruelty that exists in the hearts of men who control industry in developing countries, but his selfish actions definitely put his local guide at risk. Not cool at all to say the least.
I think you and Jeremiah should do a post IR chat video about the trip experience, etc. Maybe talk about some of the comments, because I have been watching these since the beginning, and I feel like either I'm missing something or people have the wrong impression (I thought a lot of it was a joke, because from the get I have only ever heard praise from Tyler for his racing accomplishments). For one, I think hearing about the experience outside of just the bike would be neat, and I feel like it'd clear the air if there was, or wasn't, some tension on the trip. I think the IR series has been really great for each of you and for us viewers. P.S. In case some people aren't aware JB works for Canyon and has been a friend and huge help for Tyler for years and Canyon supplies the bikes and produces the videos!
Totally agree. JB actually posted on his Strava ride today that Tyler edited out one of the reasons that JB was fired up. Sounds like an open discussion would be beneficial for us views.
@@Blindbat1337 Directly copy and pasted from JB strava post "It would’ve been nice if Tyler included the 10 or so minutes that he held onto the truck that would’ve explained my fired up reaction. But alas he does the edits so I walked into that one. Anyhow, really enjoy reliving the experience. What a crazy and beautiful country. Can’t wait to go back to Bolivia."
Yeah I started out thinking he’s a total bell but by the end you see more of it is a) set up or edited and b)fair enough, he deserved to get to the top of that climb, and the film is better for the ride having been completed as planned.
As a chilean/latin american fan of the channel, I was kind of worried about how the film would show Bolivia (which may be easily caricaturated). I am thankful to see a respectful and honest film, one of my favorites so far in the series. Great work and amazing adventure!
Awesome work VC, such high quality content. More please! You're an elite athlete (National champ), don't let J's ego make you ever doubt that. Please find someone nice to ride the next one with!
Thanks Baron, lots of tension between JB and I in this one, but that did make for a great film. We will take some time to cool off and explore other adventures and maybe reunite at some point.
@@TheVCAdventures Glad to hear that. This is my first video I've watched of yours. You seem fully immersed in the experience, which is exactly what I loved about this film. Hopefully any companions you have in the future will be the same.
@@alberts4541 It wasn't cut out? Also it was just a joke because the next line after him saying he was the boss was that he almost vomited which I thought was funny.
Jeremiah does not strike me as the kind of person I'd want to share an adventure with. Leaving Tyler behind frequently, not paying attention to warnings from the guides, getting mad easy and having to put another rider in their place? I get he's an alpha bro and amazing athlete, but that is not how I would want to spend an adventure.
@@kawabus I agree he really doesn't add much, tyler needs to find a couple of friends that make it feel like original Top Gear trio if that makes sense.
I really can't understand how you can go on such trips with Jeremiah. It's not about "showing the other who's boss" but about experiencing the adventure together and supporting each other. I don't mean that he can go for the KOM or that he can drive a part faster, but I find it extremely embarrassing and childish to do something like that just to put the other person down...
@@JQ0110 I don't think so, the format is great. It's just half of them are JB being a knob lord and rushing off to get a KOM. Its an adventure VC should be able to share these moments with a real friend who is like-minded
@@tbrowniscool Im pretty sure VC said sometime ago JB is quite an ass in these videos because he often doesnt agree on how its shot or how VC works on stuff and works on the videos and he tries to get more editorial control over VC, its quite bad Also, im pretty sure this entire intro was just JB venting off his frustration lol, there is no other way VC would put something like that
Content better than whatever Netflix or other pay streaming service provides and quality that rivals them as well! Inspiring me to reach outside of my comfort zone on a new adventure.
Thanks man, these take me around 200-300 hours to edit and about $35,000 to make. But they are my art and art should be free. This the 11th film in this series. If you dig this one, there are 10 others that came before this.
47:13 coffee is a big thing in South America, but it's a home thing. You prepare and drink it at home; you have it at breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner; you always brew coffee for your guests. Coffee is big, coffee shops not so much, especially in small towns like this.
So good. To be honest the routes don't even need to be Impossible. I would watch films about places to ride around the world with beautiful, fun. routes. And cool little towns. 🤙
From now on Tyler shall be known as The Phoenix Cyclist....that shot of him coming up over the horizon after comeback from beyond the recoverable ..goosebumps. This one had the Hawaii vibe to it just like Jeremiah said. Well done to both of you. These projects deserve Netflix size production funding. Hope it will happen. For now will contribute what I can. It has been inspirational to watch Tyler grow and become what he is. Play bikes!
The kid popping into the frame at beginning is hilarious.. capturing stuff like that is so important as a filmmaker. Feels so much more real and honest.
Bittersweet to watch this one since it feels like the end of an incredible era of VC, but what a glorious era it has been! Hope the good vibes and new partners can be found in 2024!
This film is spectacular. Super kudos for Tyler and JB, I am a big fan of both. Separately, I got the sense that JB was a bit miffed that Tyler didn't put in the high altitude prep work that such a high elevation cycling route warranted. Such a truly incredible high altitude route should be taken with the utmost seriousness as there is very little room for error and mistakes including lack of high altitude prep could prove fatal.
MATE. Your video creation skills are so honed now, Tyler. Amazing work man. Everything from the narration to the fonts was on point. This really reflected the up down relationship I have with my long ride endurance people. You kinda hate em sometimes, for one reason or another, but you need em. They keep you pushing through. You and JB killing it as always.
Firstly, i love these impossible route films, West Texas has gotta be my favorite, and you guys inspired me to try my own hand at some long distance riding, I cannot thank you guys enough for the motivation. as well as the incredible production value of this series. I saw recently on the Bonk Bros Prodcast that you and Jerimiah are Seperating, the tension between you guys has probably most clearly evident in this film, yall made a great duoship and I hope at some point in the future when enough time passes by, yall can make some more incredible content. but I was just wondering if you could elaborate on your current status with the Impossible Route Project, as well the Future of this series. Much love guys!
Ok, have to mull this one a bit. An incredible film, top quality BBC level doco. Thanks for you and JB and the team for making it and the other impossible route films. It's something you should both be proud of. It's easy to make assumptions, but i would say that no one knows what's going on in the lives of the participants. Wish all the best for you, Tyler, and for JB. Sometimes a bit of distance can provide perspective.
It isn't said directly, but I think that Jeremiah hasn't liked Tyler's lack of preparation for performing at altitude. In general the video gives you the feeling that Tyler hung in there for bare life which is worrying to watch and that the bond between the ride buddies could have been stronger. Amazing high quality imaging showing Bolivia, though. Can't get enough of it.
This is absolutely insane to watch and I cannot begin to fathom these numbers. Tyler is no doubt the star of the ride, real underdog spec. It’s inspiring to watch you ride and I was stoked to see you make it. Jeremiah needs a reality check. I get that he has an impressive collection of accolades which has its own place for praise, but the way that he went about this trip was pathetic. Seems to me that he sits pretty high on his own governed pedestal. That bullshit cringeworthy quote about “respect” at the start put me right off from the beginning. I understand that you’re on different playing fields and I get that efforts like this can push you far outside of your comfort zone but they are NOT the characteristics of a person that I would want to share such a life changing experience with. Regardless, you both impressed the fuck out of me. Kudos to you both. What’s next?
Thank you so much for the support! And seriously, IRC has the most indestructible tires. I have not flatted ONCE on any of these projects, I have over 10,000 miles without a flat on there gravel tires. It’s actually wild.
Wait a moment. So JC thought he was being followed and yet he f left you behind all by yourself? F that dude, I dont need that type of friend in my life! Wow.
40:06 summarises JB to me "I'm not in handcuffs or jail, so that's really all that matters" No VC needed your support and you left him and nearly fucked up the whole trip by ignoring the guide.
For sure. Also, now JB fucked it up for the next adventure rider, by bringing his self absorbed privilege, ignoring local advice and knowledge, and just made this cartel think that all adventure cyclists are enemies. WTF???? Then JB brags about this trip of a lifetime? I'd be ashamed
1:17:50 Dude, this frame is absolute nuts! I hope someone had the inspiration to take a picture, and you have it framed on your wall! Great ride, mixed vibes! But great ride, nevertheless!
JB. Hope you read this Tyler is cool and all but you are the bomb. Hope you two keep this up together. As an older cyclist my impossible rides aren't up to that level so watching you both is super motivating gor me. Keep the wheels turning JB and Tyler.
Everything about your videos reminds me of hunter s thompson and his gonzo journalism, fear and loathing, hells angels... or even moreso what anthony bourdains' shows were to food. To me, you are becoming the anthony bourdain of cycling, and I mean that in the best way possible. For me that is a compliment of the highest caliber. He was one of the most interesting people and his story telling was as good as it gets, his passion for exploring other cultures / foods, the struggles the people go through and how they find comfort and coping in the food (or in your case the cycling), and bring it all back down to something relatable-- the passion for adventure. The way you become a part of the story, telling it from the front lines, (the way you do exploring different forms of cycling and places to ride) going so far as to train and prepare for months to be able to tell the story you want to tell is the type of timeless storytelling and passion that could make someone who doesn't even ride bikes, want to ride bikes. A lot of people watched bourdain eat borderline terrible food in third world countries they would never want to try, and somehow he made it desirable-- they want to go try it for the sake of experiencing a taste of that culture and creating/finding their own passion through adventure, taking risks, trying something new, challenging their own comfort zones I think you could apply a lot of the same principles they used, (many of which you have already tapped into) in your work going forward to make even more interesting pieces. I think you could lean even more into that creative side and stray even further from the cycling itself on your future adventures. I like that you are really jumping into other types of cycling than what you're used to, or going to places you've never been and finding the passion is where the magic is. The adventure itself is more interesting than the destination or result. And the tension between you and JB really seems like a side affect of two passionate people put together. I think you could refine this formula even more and the possibilities are really endless for the stories you could tell while still tying it all back to cycling Cheers, love this video and feel as though your videos are some of the most interesting content related to cycling that's EVER been made. Even just like your race recap videos are pretty incredible, your first unbound XL video comes to mind, but these impossible routes are super impressive. This is definitely one of the best videos you guys have put together, some of the scenery and heart was absolutely incredible on this. Well done. I look forward to your videos more than anyone else
Thank you for putting this out there - I've been following the whole series and I've often felt it perfectly captured the excitement of challening biking adventures not least because of your storytelling. : ) I hope it's okay if I voice two things, however. I mean it in a constructive way and of course it's okay to disagree. Firstly, I'm starting to feel like the series is developing in a direction that is getting less relatable: The Impossible Routes have always been hard (and they should be) - but they mostly felt like something trained cyclists could give a try with propper preparation and commitment. But when you're riding around with a car entourage of guides, drone pilots filming you and medics that have to constantly check your blood oxygen level, I'm just starting to disconnect from the experience even as an avid cyclist. I guess it's a case of "more isn't always better": The drone shots are nice, f.e., but I'd take just GoPro footage any day if it facilitates a more relatable experience - one that actually could still be called a cycling story. This is starting to feel a bit like "The Grand Tour" with bikes, where as a viewer I sort of stop taking anything at face value because the production value is so center stage. The other thing is more of an observation than a criticism: The toxicity between JB and you made this one almost hard to watch. I contemplated whether it was part of the show, but so often in the film, both your body languages suggested it wasn't. I'm aware this won't be news to you two and that you'll have talked about this at length and ended up consciously including it into the film - which I actually kind of appreciate, even if it was uncomfortable. I just hope you both find a way to figure this out in the long run. ; ) Cheers! I'm excited for more! : )
Not to take away anything from Jeremiah and his capabilities but Tyler is so much more relatable. Jeremiah is like the superhero and we can see every single one of ourselves in Tyler. From the self doubt to the reward of succeeding to the bitterness of failing to the vulnerability and the challenges of the day to day. Congratulations to both of you for your accomplishments and I look forward to more of these. Maybe just adventure rides. No need to put lives at risk often.
VC, you are an absolute legend. Some of the best cycling content out there. This was a fantastic film. JB is aggravating to watch and reminds me of a young boy with his insecurity and spitefulness. He’s constantly seeking validation and seems more like foe than friend.
This Film was spectacular, I stand by it being the best one of the series. Cinematography, music, editing, storytelling, narration, it all was so well done. It was well worth the wait. I will be sharing with my non cycling friends.
first off.... superb cycling video!!!!!!, especially filmed in a country where, as someone commented here already, can be caricatured with the typical scenes shots of the indigenous / local people. Great choice of music as well, and beautifully shot!!!! Having grown up most of my childhood in Bolivia, I can tell you that while Bolivians are very warm and friendly, there are areas that if the local people warn you of, PLEASE take it seriously- there's are cartel- whether its drugs or mines etc... and it's no joke. They do not care who you are or where you're from. You are disposable in their world. I have cycled in parts of Bolivia, and while I enjoy a non guided bike ride, i definitely adhered to one there including a local driver - they know the roads!! Love ALL your cycling videos and your narration.
The impact and profound engagement you two created is extraordinary! Few films with huge budgets are this successful. Life begins on the edge and you took us there and back. Bravo!
Jeremiah put in danger everyone!, he was lucky he wasn’t shot when running away from the miners. I don’t understand why Tyler still has him as partner. I loved this video, too bad Jeremiah is in it .
These series are just some of the best content on RUclips. Just ridiculous edited and story telling. I want to share this with so many people but I am not sure it will be appreciated by most. Thank you Tyler. Yewwt
Thanks for another great episode VC and JB! It would be interesting to see the dynamic of an impossible route between VC and a cyclist weaker than himself.
❤ you both! Sometimes I'm like JB, and sometimes like VC. Can understand both. My cycling friend and I have the same problems when riding long days... But still we respect and love each other. Thank you and your team for great movies. I feel very conected. Love and blessings!
Man I feel bad that I see so many negative comments towards JB. JB is the reason these are even a thing, and are as difficult as they are. I see both sides to the coin, JBs and VCs… on one side you have JB who did his homework, and spent time setting himself up for success acclimating his body so he can absolutely crush this. And Tyler, whom I know prepared, but not to the same level JB did, and I’m sure that frustrated JB. Then you have Tyler who was probably frustrated that JB didn’t stick with him, but just left Tyler in many situations to kind of fend for himself. This video definitely portrays the strengths and weaknesses of each individual as a person.
Exactly, well said! I see both sides as well and you can' fault a JB for being prepared. I also kind of feel like with all the drama in this video some might be embellished a little bit.
Great video! Thanks for visiting Bolivia. Sorry about the miners’ incident. Probably speaking Spanish might have helped a bit. I was born in La Paz and raced Leadville in 2022 (I know Jeremiah raced the same year). Grew up riding my bike on these mountains, including racing downhill from Chacaltaya (the highest point in the video). I miss those roads as I now live (and race) in the flat lands of south Texas. Just being at 17,000 feet elevation is a huge task for anyone who comes from sea level. I think the last climb to Chacaltaya should be on the bucket list of any cyclists claiming to be a climber. I am not aware of any other longer and steeper climb.
EVERY FRIGGEN TIME! Every time you do one of these challenges, I get a fresh cup of coffee, block the hour or so from my schedule, sit back and just enjoy the hell out of it. I love love love what you guys are doing. Cheers, bruh.
JB you are the BOSS !! Killer effort sending it up the last climb, while you partner ( and the only reason why people tune into these rides ) is getting oxygen on the side of the road. Not to mention that you left him behind to get picked up by cartel miners who were pissed off because, despite being told in the safety meeting NOT to film, you did and put everyone at risk. Glad you found a good hiding spot while Tyler almost sent it off a cliff dodging mining trucks. Way to look out for you partner, awesome. Tyler, you need to lose this guys # ASAP.
I see a lot of critical comments directed toward Jeremiah. From his perspective though, JB has clearly put in an enormous amount of effort, both in terms of planning and logistics, as well as toward training and altitude acclimatization. It's clear that Tyler was less prepared, which he mentioned was his decision (and how can I criticise a man for wanting to spend more time with his family). I don't think JB is in the wrong for wanting to push at his own pace and reap the fruits of his labour. This is not some random weekend ride. These guys will most likely never come back to Bolivia to ride these roads again. I don't think that JB is obliged to wait for Tyler at every turn, and if I were Tyler I wouldn't wish for my struggles to potentially rob JB of his chance to fully realise and complete this impossible route challenge. This is not to say that JB acted perfectly, or that he couldn't have been a better riding buddy. We are all human, with human motivations and human egos. It's important to realise that this story is told from Tyler's perspective (whose storytelling is always gracious and impartial imo). I think that some people who are trying to read between the lines are too quick to paint JB as a villain rather than just another human being.
So true. Even on short rides having a mis-matched pace is annoying. Dealing with this for hours must be especially bad. Besides, JB always waits for Tyler at check points so it's not like they're not riding together. Not super nice, but nobody's perfect.
This comment should be upvoted to the top. Humans are complicated beings and it’s not as simple as good or bad, there is a lot of depth to who we are and we shouldn’t judge others and jump to conclusions if we would want the same grace.
Agree. Would also add that it bugs me Tyler is trying to make JB look like an ass. Not sure why JB would work with him anymore. It’s too bad because this is a cool story, a well made doc, with a bunch of unnecessary fake drama. JB didn’t have his camera stolen because his Strava post that day has the footage. Tyler making himself look like Rocky at the end is comical. It’s just too much and honestly ruined a good video. Maybe they need the drama to sell.
I really, really, really tried my best to come into this without Bias, and I like to think I did. But man, the truck scene was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back for me. In my eyes, this series started with the audience and riders all knowing that Jeremiah was a stronger rider. To avoid going into more detail, I’ll just say it’s an unattractive trait to feel like you’d need to prove that in such a way. My only hope is that the ending of this series doesn’t take away from what a PHENOMENAL series this was. Thank you Tyler AND Jeremiah for enduring such feats to give what I’d consider the best cycling series to date. ❤
Fantastic filmmaking- I’m sure that as the editor and a character, it is very difficult to portray your position in equal light to that of JB. It feels like there is more tension under the surface, but I appreciate you focusing on the facts of the story for us to draw our own conclusions. Given that JB has been a main character in your stories who we have watched with you for years, I hope at some point you both can shed some light on the split. Looking forward to what’s next from you!
All things must come to an end, JB and I have lived many lives worth of experiences together in a short period. I love him, always will. There are lots of little gripes both on my side and his, but I will say this, he is the most upstanding and ethical business partner. When it comes to doing the right thing regardless of feelings, he has never done me wrong.
Got to be one of the best impossible route. Only let down is all the shade in the comments against JB. He rides bike. He is there for his own personal experience and the juxtaposition between the two makes these videos. Who doesn't want to do their best climb on a 17k ft assent. Put the hammer down! Great job to both of you and the team. Thanks for the legendary content.
feels like JB isn't such a dick like many in the comments paints him as. sure he's competitive and have flaws in decision making but the rivalry & everything else is built up to have more exciting story & for a narrative that juxtaposes the different styles of our two riders.
@@thebestofenergy yeah or.... When someone works with you on all these fantastic projects over multiple years and has all these lived experiences...and then makes one silly mistake and panics.
@@rubricalchunk1831 You're inflating by saying he worked for years as if he put so much effort to make this one work, he didn't. It's not one silly mistake. It's multiple choices that are horrible. 1. You ignore the guide. 2. You ignore your good sense. 3. You leave your friend to fend for himself after you put him in that situation, and you go hiding. 4. You play it off like it wasn't a big deal and can't admit responsibility. Reminds me of the type of excuses that cheating partners make, all those years of trust and then 'just one mistake'. There's a lot of thinking time and bypassing good sense to arrive to that 'mistake', it's not a one moment thing, it amounts to hours of being a PoS. He's an irresponsible manchild, and it's unsafe. Nothing more, nothing less. It's pretty obvious to see.
@@thebestofenergy sorry to hear you got cheated on but I don't think it's healthy to bring that anger to a cycling video. For me, thanks for sharing your view. I won't be engaging any more as I don't need your unnecessary negativity in my life.
You do an amazing job in every single one of these at capturing even the small moments within the rides, the positives and negatives during fun and challenging sections, mental states, everything. Yet you just keep pushing no matter how sore or tired or delusional you may be. It’s incredible to watch and I’ll forever be a viewer and a fan. You inspire me to never give up and that’s probably a huge reason why I’ve never called it quits on anything I’ve ever done. Appreciate all the work you put into these man, and I’m not sure I agree with all these comments. I feel JB gives you motivation to always be better, because he’s constantly working to try and be in better shape than you. “Work like someone else is working 24 hours a day to take it all away from you” it’s a huge motivation factor if you enjoy that challenge and I think you welcome it! Rock on man 🤘🏼
Incredible journey so tough and challenging, that made small moments drinking a glass of fresh Bolivian orange juice feeling like entering the gates of heaven. Well done to you two and the support crew and families back home.
Donation made. Thank you. I am sorry about the friction and hope you mend things. Special things to your wife and kids for supporting you. You are the true grit of cycling, making dreams happen, and being a family man. MTB saved my life when I found it after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Your films are more than inspiring...
Three thoughts. 1) Amazing filmmaking. Top notch. 2) Jeremiah showed how strong and prepared he was. He is a competitor. And yeah, maybe he indulged that side of him a little too much. But when you prepare for an epic adventure like this, sometimes you want to push yourself. 3) Tyler clearly didn’t prepare like Jeremiah. When you’re riding at these altitudes that’s dangerous and kind of selfish. Because it puts not just you but your team in danger.
I really think using altitude to put down your “buddy” is low and would make me question if I wanted to do adventure rides with that guy again. Spending two weeks in Colorado just to make sure he had an edge? And then giddy to see how had your oxygen levels were? Cool bro!! But I thought the point was to do hard things in beautiful places together, not embarrass and punish someone with a family who simply made the mistake of riding well against you previously.
The editing and the scenes in this video are on a god-tier level! It's like watching a movie; I'm so engrossed that I can't even get up for water because I'm completely focused. Cheers from The Philippines! ^^
Yeah unfortunately when that's the main talking point despite the incredible videography and editing, I have to agree. It's time for change. Vibes have been bad for a while
JB gets too much heat in these comments. He operates in a different mindset where he puts a chip on his shoulder to prove everyone wrong whether there is anyone to even prove wrong. Some people are just motivated differently and are likely misunderstood. Tyler is a stud and amazing story teller. All around amazing video, well done and fair. Who wants to read a book or watch a movie where everyone are just the sweetest people ever and have no relationship issues. Thanks for keeping it real. Both are badass dudes.

I feel like the JB schtick has worn out its welcome. I understand every good story needs an antagonist but shouldn't that be the course rather than your supposed partner? Someone endangering your well being out of sheer stupidity seems best avoided.
@@CM-ft9ep Yeah JB sucks

Plot twist: the real impossible part of the impossible route story arc was spending that much time with Jeremiah bishop 😅
thsta the real challenge
shrubbery!
This stuff is Netflix or Amazon worthy. This is adventure television at its best.
Yall must of never had an older brother lol this was classic competitive fun idk how people can get anything else from it! incredible journey!
All 11 of these films are free to watch, on this one I used music true to the country, but this means the ad revenue is given to the label of the artists. I hate the money begging side of this business but If you thought the quality of the edit was worth a donation, it honestly does way more than you will ever know. www.paypal.com/paypalme/vegancyclist ❤❤❤
do you still get YT premium payouts, or does it also go to the labels?
You should sell these movies to Netflix Or HBO! The quality of your movies amazes me every time. Until your content reaches such parties Im happy to donate❤️

This is festival level filmmaking.
venmo??
Sorry Tyler, that you had to endure your hardest ride ever. Add to that the careless, condescending, narcissistic attitude of Jeremiah. If you never invited him on another ride, I believe most of us here support you. You can do better, bro. Thousands of us can’t be wrong! He said it best, sometimes you have to do the hard things.
FANTASTIC video, Tyler. My hat is off to all you do to promote your channel and representing the cycling community. KUDOS!!!
Was an honor to shoot this with you. That was my favorite Impossible Route yet!
You did a great job filming this, must have been challenging with the drone at this altitude.
Stellar shooting Ben thanks so much for your work!
Jeremiah leaving his friend behind on the mountain, classy! What kind of friend does that?!
@@MorganCondict wow I hope your actual friends don’t see this! That’s a really awful mindset and position you have.
@@ThePenguinTutorials was hoping there would be some ransom involved, would be Netflix worthy
This. 100%.
Totally agree. JB actually posted on his Strava ride today that Tyler edited out one of the reasons that JB was fired up. Sounds like an open discussion would be beneficial for us views.
VC edits the videos not Canyon
@@Blindbat1337 Directly copy and pasted from JB strava post
"It would’ve been nice if Tyler included the 10 or so minutes that he held onto the truck that would’ve explained my fired up reaction.

VC is the boss cause I'm pretty sure he pays JB.
The dude has so much ego. He wants everyone to know he's a "former national champ". It's like dude, you're old and that was 100 years ago. Who cares

This right here, is what youtube is about. Thanks for these amazing videos you put out Tyler.
Might be the most reasonable comment in this feed.
If you bealive he created the film himself your wrong. The list of editors and staff was long and presented on the begining.
What a great film! Story, filming, environment, culture, bikeriding, exitement you name it.

Your videos got me through HOURS of riding on the trainer in my shed training for Leadville. You the man!

A lot of people watched bourdain eat borderline terrible food in third world countries they would never want to try, and somehow he made it desirable-- they want to go try it for the sake of experiencing a taste of that culture and creating/finding their own passion through adventure, taking risks, trying something new, challenging their own comfort zones
I think you could apply a lot of the same principles they used, (many of which you have already tapped into) in your work going forward to make even more interesting pieces. I think you could refine this formula even more and the possibilities are really endless for the stories you could tell while still tying it all back to cycling
Cheers, love this video and feel as though your videos are some of the most interesting content related to cycling that's EVER been made.
Love the Tarantino style video, the geezer doing the voice over sounds like one of the coolest dudes on the planet.
These films are absolutely stunning.. cant wait for the next adventures.. you've given me a reason to pedal my bike. Thank you for this.
Thank you for putting this out there - I've been following the whole series and I've often felt it perfectly captured the excitement of challening biking adventures not least because of your storytelling. : )
I hope it's okay if I voice two things, however.
I just hope you both find a way to figure this out in the long run. ; )
Cheers! I'm excited for more! : )
I think you guys should do an impossible route thru philly and camden NJ. Great film. Loved every second of it. JB and VC are a joy to watch.
We had this idea to do an Urban impossible route kinda in that area. Lots of cool areas to ride out there.
I love to see how deep Tyler can dig 🫡 very motivational
Thats pretty shitty of jeremiah to leave tyler for 2 hours.
The cinematography and storytelling in these films is just phenomenal.
The only content i watch at 1x speed - Great video VC!
The impact and profound engagement you two created is extraordinary! Few films with huge budgets are this successful. Life begins on the edge and you took us there and back. Bravo!

Is it just me or would most people NOT BAIL on a mate when times are tough. Jeremiah’s like, everyone for themselves.
Impossibly beautiful, impossibly adventurous, impossibly brave, impossibly epic!!!!
I had that thought too.
Best IR yet. Story, highs, lows, conflicts. Utter joy, scenery even the music is so on point, I found myself laughing and crying at the same time.
That has to be the best ever impossible route ever Tyler and Jeremiah . I was out of breath watching the film but what next?
Truly impossible to top this one. I think new characters and new storylines is the only way forward.
@@TheVCAdventuresgreat to hear… Looks like everyone is fed up with the way Jeremiah treats you. You deserve better!
I watched this whole movie with my son on the couch. He's only 5 but he loves the impossible route movies. He's a real VC fan.
100% agree. This is the only common sense comment I've read on this video.
We’ll done! When you guys were flying down the Mt while the cartel was chasing made the story that much better and exciting!! Loves it!!
When someone puts your life in danger and then leaves you behind to face it, you let me know how many good things you have to say for him. Get real.
Thanks for the awesome video.
Thank you for the support! Hope you enjoyed the film 🥳
Voice over dude is SICK!!!
It took me three months to take the time and watch the whole film in one sitting but life has been hectic. It was worth the wait. Good job, guys!
Rock on man 🤘🏼
I was so immersed in this doc. Really amazing work. This should have an award.
I’ve been waiting for this one!!!
Keep riding!! ♥️🫶
Lots of ripples (rapids) is shallow because rocks are just under the surface. Flat water is deeper. I learned this trick in Iceland.
Oh wow, the photography on this one is award winning. Congrats boyz
thank you!
Already watched twice 🤙🏻❤👊🏻
I think its time for a new partner on these rides.....
Agreed unfortunately
Yeah unfortunately when that's the main talking point despite the incredible videography and editing, I have to agree. It's time for change. Vibes have been bad for a while
gonna be hard to find such a fit F@#K though. these guys are insane..
they like this
JB gets too much heat in these comments.
