Congrats on your move, I just came across your video. I’m moving to Houston in June, and will be down to look at apartments in May...Hold up and you from my city everybody moving down there...Goodluck!
HarajukuBarbie91021O Lol yes that is crazy. It was really spacious, just wish the appliances and countertops were more updated. She did say you could pay extra for newer appliances but I didn’t get a chance to see what those look like.
I toured Apartment A in March with the same leasing agent lol...didn't wind up picking that one in the end, the reviews online (with pictures) really concerned me.
@@jasxaigner lol 🤷🏽♀️ but I hope you found the one you really wanted and loved! And hope you're enjoying Houston so far. I just made a year here and just starting to like it lol
I make $80,000 a year and live in Astoria, Queens NYC and we pay $1,850 for a 400sq.ft whole in the wall on the 3rd floor of a 3 family. Zero amenities, obviously. I'm sick of being here with the cold ass winters and dirty city. We cant have kids or even consider it because its too expensive. Houston, here we come.
Dig deep & get ready to PAY for a Houston apt. The new homes are being built with 2x3's & being thrown up by illegals. Poor quality, high property taxes, poor education & health care because it is a "sanctuary" city & illegals crowding out native Texans & other American citizens. Houston is ruined for sure.
I earn 3000$ per month in SF and I can’t live here anymore it’s too expensive so I will move in Houston. I want kids BUT it’s impossible to raise kids in San Francisco. It’s just too expensive and too weird.
Don't be deceived. Houston is a terrible place to raise kids. HISD is awful & west Houston has declined because all illegals want their non-English speaking kids to attend school there. Private schooling is a must. The traffic is horrendous. 3K per month is not enough to live on in Houston unless you remain childless.
The cost of living is higher than the city I’m from for sure as it’s a much bigger city but I can’t say how expensive it is just yet because I haven’t moved.
Jasmine Johnson I live in Houston, honestly it depends on what side of town and what area you’re looking in because certain areas are way cheaper than others
Too expensive because illegals & people from all over the USA have moved there crowding in thinking they are going to "strike it rich" . One must be a generational Texan with lots of "connections" to get good jobs &/or "old" money inherited from ancestors. The days of "affordable" living there is so OVER.
Rent is no more than 1500 lmao what are u talking about? I’m a college student in Miami paying 1800 lol. I cant wait to move to Houston I already found a place 1100

I refuse to believe Apartment A is 1000 square feet
She could of been lying LOL
E
Apartment A she was thick as hell!
Fire your videographer! He gave me a headache!
YOU BEST HAVE VERY DEEP POCKETS TO GET A DECENT APT IN HOUSTON OR PREPARE TO LIVE WITH ILLEGALS WHO LIE & SNEAK SEVERAL FAMILIES INTO ONE APT!
