- The Ring Brothers build cars on a whole different level. These no expense spared, carbon fiber laden pieces of automotive art are at the top of the automotive building game, and Mr. Larry Chen himself was chosen to shoot them for the cover of Hot Rod magazine. One is an 890hp Chevy Camaro named "Valkyrja", and the other is the 700hp "UNKL" Ford Mustang. Both vehicles took home awards from SEMA 2019, including the coveted "Battle of the Builders" award.

I'm such a huge fan of these "Modern Classics". The design if these cars was perfect, the tech needed some help, so slap them together, it's perfect.
Nailed it! Everything about these two modern day classics were spot on. Looking forward to doing more with these 2 modern day classics.
Everything except the ugly modern wheels imo, but to each their own.
They did a whole lot more than slap them together. Check the engine bay at 6:08, that's some insane attention to details.

We used to draw cars free hand in school(95,96) and this Camaro is what those cars used to look like. Big wheels running the fenders full and very wide, extra low and lots of vents.Epic.
Trucked to the desert and driven 15mph. Amaaaaaazing.

The Ring Brothers "make" some of the most beautiful vehicles on earth.. the detail is on par with the detail of Larry's photos, flawless!! Great shoot the picture with the lake! Need I say more.
Both of these cars are super clean. Very well built and tastefully designed.
I found my face twitching uncontrollably at the amount of work that has been done to these cars.
I love the Camaro's fender vents, reminiscent of the Aston martin DB11 but flowing so well with the Camaro's body lines!

One of my favorite muscle cars is the 69 Camaro but that Mustang to me, Ring Brothers killed it. From the stance, wheels, yr of the Mustang and just the lil changes and still has that killer old school look and feel.
That Larry and lief's smile looking at the camaro indicates that they are enjoying their jobs.

I'm a diehard ford fan, but that Camaro is the nicest, most tastefully designed car I've ever seen! That Mach I is gorgeous, but it's just cute in comparison.

3:54 That body line/horizontal pinch/crease above the air scoop is all jacked up and it shows when light reflects off of that area and brings the overall perceived quality of the build down a notch. Now, the only reason I even noticed that is because this build is so thorough and they paid a lot of attention to the details so an oversight like that stands out way, way more (compared to a build that didn’t pay so much attention to every little detail and you didn’t expect the body work to be flawless). I feel like for such an extensive and detailed build, there’s no excuse for flaws in what is the basics/ if they would’ve focused less on all the minute details and made sure

Larry, your photography really is stunning, and your composition really highlights the beauty of these machines while making no attempt at drawing the viewer's attention to the skill and craftsmanship of the photographer. I especially appreciate your dedication to natural light photography - the obvious parallel in the automotive world being Naturally Aspirated vs. Forced Induction engines. (Both are lovely, and both have their talents and uses, but something about the simplicity of each respective dicipline - NA Engines and Natural Lighting - really forces the artist to focus on their craft in a wholistic manner.)
I'd have one of these over any supercar anyday, simply stunning builds.
