As a fellow history buff, I'm so happy to see how enthusiastic you are about playing the campaign how Portugal really would have. Your explanations too are really interesting, and overall I'm totally immersed. Awesome video and series!

Надо нанимать огромное количество полководцев, и проводить ими две битвы, чтобы дали выбор первого спутника. "Микроскоп" даёт +10% к скорости исследований, и ими можно колоссально увеличить науку... Есть и второй предмет, дающий +5% к скорости исследований, но битв надо провести ещё больше, до получения второго спутника...🤔
if you play it as actual Portuguese traders/mercenaries rather then as a conquering house it can be with limited recruitment and resources, it is fun that way. and to be honest, it makes sense as pike & shot Europeans armies were significantly more dangerous then the same era Japanese armies.
