Good luck! IMO ranked is the best way to tell if you're actually improving. With SBMM, I find it hard to know in general if I'm getting better or if it's just an easier lobby. I'm having a ton of fun on ranked in this game!
You can't say your a top 1% player without saying Global after that. Otherwise your inflating. Unless you in iridescent. In that case you would be. All that % means on the global leaderboard is how close you are to getting onto the leaderboard. It will go to 0% when you get closer until you get into the top 1,000 and then you will be on the board.

Hey that’s great to hear! Glad the video was helpful for you! This is a great question! When I’m strafing it does kind of depend… however I’d say it’s usually to match the way the opponent is moving as I do a lot of aiming with the left stick. But if I’m playing around cover, then it’s more an in and out behind cover.

Thank you!! I'm actually planning to touch on this in my next video! However, I'd recommend a left deadzone of 2 min and 70 max (to get yourself moving quicker) and a right stick of anywhere between 0-5 min and 100 max. Ideally you want some (but not too much) stick drift. It does depend a bit controller to controller and how much wear and tear your controller has! The longer you use a controller for, generally the more stick drift it will naturally have!

I've been getting alot better since i bought cod 4 weeks ago. Had some pretty decently high kill games. Not getting the big streaks, but its not uncommon for me to get a Remote Turret (7 kills). Feels pretty good lol. baby steps! not ADSing the whole time! Why did i never think of this lol? I'm going to practice this alot, along with change up settings so I can 180 alot easier. Looks like you were using the MTZ-556? That gun is one of my favorites. I tend to do well with it.

Thanks for subscribing and liking the video! I do a lot of different types of strafes: 1. Quick left to rights (or right to left) 2. At long range, I aim more with the left stick than I do the right, so I strafe the same way the person I'm aiming at is moving 3. In and out of cover But I'm almost always strafing in some way. If you're standing still in gunfights, I'd say that's usually not a good thing!
I definitely do sometimes! However, there are a couple of things I think could potentially help you out: 1. ADS Field of View set to "Affected" - which depending on your FOV won't make you zoom in as much when ADS. Highly recommend this setting. 2. Weapon Field of View set to "Wide" - it will make your gun appear smaller and let you see the more important things on your screen to shoot at. 3. Use an optic of whatever zoom level (for MP I think usually nothing higher than a 1x is needed for everything except snipers). This helps with muzzle smoke and visual recoil. 4. Make sure your Horizontal and Vertical sensitivities are high enough to be able to track players while they are moving. 5-5 is the absolute minimum I would recommend! Hope those can help!
hey Jalbs. Do you think you could do a video on your favorite guns and loadouts? Every other YT channel uploads a daily video of "the NEW meta" gun, but they're all bogus and doing it for clicks. I'd be interested to see what types of loadouts you use on various maps and such. I struggle with how important assasin vest is, or should I always use a supressor. Lately i have been using both assasin vest + supressor and i think maybe i'm getting more streaks, but not sure if its placebo or just me improving at the game. Yesterday I had a 12 kill streak which is nuts for me! I'm regularly getting the Remote Turret and that thing cranks! Had a 60 kill game on Highrise over the weekend it was hilarous. That turret probably killed 30 people!!! I kind of like MTZ-556 and Holger 556 for my primary...sometimes MCW, but it got a huge nerf so I dont even know if its still the best AR anymore. I usually use Renetti akimbo for sidearm. Also though I like the MTZ Intercepter marksman rifle. its crazy good.

I'd be willing to guess that it isn't placebo with the Assassin vest + suppressor combination! I've found the most success with getting streaks in MW3 with that kind of loadout. But I also imagine it's a bit of you getting better too! All the weapons you mentioned are all solid choices and if ranked is any indication of what is still good in general MP, I think the MCW is still a very solid weapon choice.

@@KINGJALBS Hey Jalbs- i had to comment after an insane Rust game i had over the weekend. 86 kills 10 deaths!!! I was absulutely shredding. Had 4 remote turrets and 4 overwatch hilos. it was so fun! So far its my highest kill game. My overall KD is only .90 though, so i've got some work to do. As a KbM player, i'm still losing tons of the up close gunfights, but working on it. Your vids are so good man. Super helpful to people like me. Much appreciated. On the ADS topic in close quarters, this is a HUGE reason i'm dying. Not to be overly analytical, but are you saying I should more or less hipfire until I can ADS? This way i'm getting some shots on target quicker? For example: if someone comes around the corner, and I see them, i can usually center them, but by the time i ADS i'm dead or maybe only get a shot or two off. If instead of ADS, i could probably hipfire a few quicker shots before ADS and maybe win that fight. Did that make sense?

This is something I still struggle with a lot! I always try to keep it in the back of my mind when playing. But the more you practice it, the easier it gets! Being hard to kill for me is the thing that I think made the biggest difference in MW3. Knowing where and when to re-position is super important and can help you start to get really high killstreaks.
Absolutely! So, if you have your crosshair just set to "On" instead of "Static" it kind of wiggles back and forth when you are turning in game. For me, having the center dot wiggling around like that is pretty distracting! I tried "On" for maybe a couple of minutes and did not like it at all. It's such a small thing but makes a really big difference imo.
I'd say that it's a REALLY good muzzle. The recoil control is crazy, but the downside is that you do appear on the minimap for a bit longer than you do with any of the other ones. If I am trying to get high streaks in MP I probably wouldn't run it but for WZ or general games, it's really good. Edit* missed your the suppressor part of your question! I generally think that in MP a suppressor is best. However, for ranked/small maps I would prefer an unsuppressed weapon.
I definitely recommend playing around with your scope specific sensitivities! One of my IRLs has said it's made a big difference for him. It might take you a second to get to a spot where you like it, but being able to turn around quickly and also aim well is really important for playing at a high level.
New to the channel. Can anyone tell me if there’s a difference from AA on PC to AA on console and does it affect visual recoil? My aim is not great but it’s not terrible either. What I notice most is visual recoil. It seems like most PC players are able to eliminate visual recoil. Before the JAK BRB muzzle came out I saw a lot of people running the RAM7 with zero recoil and that thing kicked really hard the first few shots….. anyway, so is there a difference?
Welcome to the channel! I’m not aware of any difference between AA on console or PC in COD. I think the main thing for eliminating visual recoil are some minor settings, gun build and just time spent learning the recoil of a gun. If that’s something you struggle with on a weapon, adding an optic can really help (at least it does for me!)
It definitely is! I thought about including it in this and it probably would have been a good 3rd one to add to the advanced movement section. However, I personally don't do it a ton even though I probably should so I left it out. Maybe in a future video I'll include some tips on how to do it!
I use an Xbox Elite controller! It has 4 paddles on the back which lets me jump, crouch, reload and swap weapons without taking my thumb off the sticks.
Hmmm tough to say with the new updates and also I've only played ranked play since it dropped. However, the MCW and Rival and still both really good. The new sub HRM-9 looks like it's going to be pretty good as well in both MP & WZ. I'm also a big of the MTZ-556 after they buffed it a little while ago! As for snipers, the XRK is really fun to use but you do get some hit markers with it. My favorite AR is WZ rn is the Ram-7 for sure.

Nothing customized! Just set up a regular ol' private match in game. I think private matches just show "xp" on kills even though they don't actually award any towards your account level.
Not sure I understand the question… Did you mean mouse and keyboard vs. controller? Everything I covered in the video can be done on both console and pc. I myself play on PC with a controller.
Left I have Min - 2 & Max 70 Right I have Min 2 & Max 100 Every controller is different though depending on how old it is/how much stick drift it has. I'd say you want to aim for a little bit of stick drift but nothing too crazy. If you have a lot of stick drift you'll want to raise up the min input a bit until that goes away.
@@tommyvillarreal1046 I use an elite too actually! I also use the 4 back paddles and I have a control freak on my right stick. This controller I have now has a bit more stick drift than ones I have had in the past. I'd say probably 2-5 for the min on the right stick deadzone is a good range.
Haha 14-9 is crazy high, idk how you play on that! And I agree, 5-5 is definitely as low as I would go on controller. Any lower and you have no hope of tracking people in this game.
You play on pc!!! Movement, FPS, AND RESOLUTION on pc is wild, bro!! Stop it!! Do that on console and come back with the same stats, and you get my respect.... until then, FOH!!!
So on Warzone, I average about 80 fps and on multiplayer I average 100fps. My in-game resolution settings and recordings are done in 1920x1080p. I would quite literally get better performance out of a PS5. In general though, the quality of the machine you play on doesn’t matter that much. A COD pro playing on an Xbox one/PS4 will still cook anyone below that skill level who’s playing on a $5k PC. 🤷🏼♂️
You really don’t like aim assist do you Ralts 🤣 I remember a comment of yours from a previous video! I wouldn’t say being good on MNK is totally irrelevant, there are some extremely good MNK players. But I do agree that aim assist is really strong in this game.
@@KINGJALBS yeah kbm has it perks which is snapshotting better than controller but due to the game adding more aiming variables such as ads strafing sway you could be a pixel off with mouse but with aim assist you pretty much would be still on target.
Can't recommend switching over to the larger reticle enough! It'll feel weird at first but during that time make sure you pay attention to your centering. It should hopefully help a lot!

Also heres a tip on crouch spamming:
Instead of spamming your crouch button, press your crouch then jump button, this is faster and more consistent :)

Are your bot lobbies a customized multiplayer lobby? I notice you’re still getting XP.
Nothing customized! Just set up a regular ol' private match in game. I think private matches just show "xp" on kills even though they don't actually award any towards your account level.

How does this translate for PC players rather than console
Not sure I understand the question… Did you mean mouse and keyboard vs. controller? Everything I covered in the video can be done on both console and pc. I myself play on PC with a controller.

Left I have Min - 2 & Max 70
Right I have Min 2 & Max 100
Every controller is different though depending on how old it is/how much stick drift it has. I'd say you want to aim for a little bit of stick drift but nothing too crazy. If you have a lot of stick drift you'll want to raise up the min input a bit until that goes away.
@@KINGJALBS I use an elite controller, so maybe you know any good things about them with what input or stick type?
@@tommyvillarreal1046 I use an elite too actually! I also use the 4 back paddles and I have a control freak on my right stick. This controller I have now has a bit more stick drift than ones I have had in the past. I'd say probably 2-5 for the min on the right stick deadzone is a good range.

Haha 14-9 is crazy high, idk how you play on that! And I agree, 5-5 is definitely as low as I would go on controller. Any lower and you have no hope of tracking people in this game.
You play on pc!!! Movement, FPS, AND RESOLUTION on pc is wild, bro!! Stop it!! Do that on console and come back with the same stats, and you get my respect.... until then, FOH!!!
So on Warzone, I average about 80 fps and on multiplayer I average 100fps. My in-game resolution settings and recordings are done in 1920x1080p. I would quite literally get better performance out of a PS5.
In general though, the quality of the machine you play on doesn’t matter that much. A COD pro playing on an Xbox one/PS4 will still cook anyone below that skill level who’s playing on a $5k PC. 🤷🏼♂️

You really don’t like aim assist do you Ralts 🤣 I remember a comment of yours from a previous video! I wouldn’t say being good on MNK is totally irrelevant, there are some extremely good MNK players. But I do agree that aim assist is really strong in this game.
@@KINGJALBS yeah kbm has it perks which is snapshotting better than controller but due to the game adding more aiming variables such as ads strafing sway you could be a pixel off with mouse but with aim assist you pretty much would be still on target.
@@ralts6464 For sure! They need to make some changes to help out MNK players. Sway needs to go and reducing visual clutter would help a lot too.
@@KINGJALBS yeah mw2 has clutter but i was able to see without thermals afterwards. Now its basically thermals.

Can't recommend switching over to the larger reticle enough! It'll feel weird at first but during that time make sure you pay attention to your centering. It should hopefully help a lot!
