Good points. Been in Irvine 9 months now due to job change. Came from out of state (Oregon). And impressive you did a video about Irvine without mentioning Irvine Company - for good or for bad. Irvine is really a planned out group of villages - planned living on steroids. As you say, not for everyone. And your video is home ownership centric since you are realtors but the rental side is monopolized by Irvine Company - they are everywhere. Irvine is somewhat overhyped. Irvine Spectrum for example - good luck parking. There is a super Target in spectrum but it does no good if you can't park - there is no quick trip to spectrum Target. I have to plan trips to other Targets like Barranca or Foothill Ranch. Plus side - there are eateries everywhere, in every strip mall plus some. Another con - craft beer - what's that? Ok left coast brewery is an attempt at it. But yes - mass suburbia, on steroids. Very expensive.
Pretty solid comment but I disagree with the Irvine company comment as a long time resident. The IC monopoly on for sale, retail, and commercial real estate is true before 2010, but over the last 10 years most of the new apartments and future developments are owned by different companies. It's a renters market currently, coming from someone in the industry. You can also research the projects if you don't believe me. I forget the Irvine Spectrum is even here in Irvine and life very close by. It is basically "Disneyland". It's more of a tourist mall. I only visit when family is in town. It is more of a destination for other people from IE, North OC, and LA to visit. I personally would rather go to Fashion Island. Still fun for college and high school aged kids.
Since you are not moving in your place, why didn't you spend $30 to buy a tripod to hold your I phone? Very distracting to see the constant camera movement,
Ok so it's only my opinion but I happened to live there right on that lake in Woodbridge where you two made this video and you are so wrong Irvine is beautiful and a great place to live. I had a business that i ran there for 26 years and never had any down sides for me. HOA keeps the places looking nice and uniformed. I had great neighbors and everyone was always pretty much friendly. Go to Long Beach, LA, Riverside and for sure you wont be running around those hoods. I know plenty of people that would die to live there. All other cities are built out close together with most new construction. Try to be more positive on your pitches if you want to make some sales.
I used to live in Mexico City , then Spain, and ending up in Irvine killed my soul, on a way I never thought safety, a calm life and stability would haha, I understand it is a great city for most of the people, but is not for me
I work in Irvine. Didn’t Irvine just buy a plot of land for 500,000+ by Portola ? The residents were complaining about the businesses that were there way before the houses were. Insanity
I grew up in Irvine, in the University Park neighborhood. It was a great place to grow up. I love the walk ability and the spectrum. But I do think parts of it are an overcrowded and overpriced now. My favorite areas are the older areas are still the older areas: university park, turtle rock, Woodbridge. Now I live in Mission Viejo which is also lovely.
Same. I loved Irvine as a kid. Many fond memories biking and skateboarding all around and going to all the pools and lagoons with my little orange tag.
I love Irvine, best weather, lots of parks, clean and amazing walk paths, just not affordable to everyone, I want Irvine keep the high standards to stay beautiful, don’t lied just to get views 🙄😓👎🏼
Until California leans conservative again, these paid influencers won't sway me into investing in property or a house in what I perceive to be a less desirable area.
LA, Long Beach, riverside, …. Have a lot of Homeless. Irvine, Huntington Beach, … Do not have Homeless build up; Thus I chose Irvine, Huntington Beach. DO NOT come any places have HOMELESS, those places are hell. This Video is suck!!! You will go to the hell if you follow it.
Your approach of marketing is weird, if you want ppl to buy properties from you other than Irvine, go do a post about where to buy. This is your biased opinion.

Hi. It's the William R Mason Regional Park in Irvine.
@@LivinginOrangeCounty Thanks so much!
Which school districts in OC offer reasonable academics along with well rounded sports opportunities for kids?
It's pretty woke , your kid may come home with a sex change without your consent 😮😂

Great Park just assigned 141 units to low income people, they are flocking to Irvine.
Great video! You kept it real.
Courtney your hair look fine just as they are! Yes they do.
Courtney’s hair is really fine, there is no need to tender it back and forth so frequently.

So 10 reasons not to move to irvine, but the video ends with how desirable the area is, and that people are willing to pay the price. Cool

Irvine and Orange County was much better before you 2 were born. Sorry you missed it.
Stop touching your hair…

Living in Irvine is definitely a privilege, loser don’t think about better life, better environment, better education.
