U see how it happens when the clouds get cooled and heated and the air constantly pushes them making them collided makes atoms spilt into one side negative and one side postive when this happens the ground is either according to the cloud is positive or negative and the postive or nagetive particals travells and Meets the postive partical in the ground creating a ionization of the molecules ofcourse it looses it's properties resulting ions come in contact meaning it will create a plasma and the plasmas will move into its electro magnetic paths creating a lightning

Fantastic lecture, but horrible cameraman! My god.

Could have been a great lecture, but poor audio and terrible camera work spoilt this video. It is frustrating not to be able to see the slides, videos and other illustrations as the lecturer is talking about them and hard to hear what he was saying.

Maybe your lightning physics department can answer this ; could it be possible that many of the mysteries are identical to the Sun's electrical fields when they loop and reconnect , how energy builds up and releases ? What is the composition of the air immediately after a dartleader , and has the lack of pollutants been considered to increase strikes ( Congo & Kansas ) .
