This video is super and you did it without unnecessary dialogue or chat… just good video. I grew up there in the late 60’s on Crystal St…just off Division at Wood St. I’ve been back many times since and its buildings, streets and vibes are still there. I really enjoyed the video, thanks !

this is great! especially compred to the other chicago walkers who think they'll melt if they ever step outside the loop or mag mile lol and your audio and video is good, you hold the camera straight and at nearly eye level...no cheesy music... this channel is a chicago-lovers dream come true!@@peacefulexplorations
As much as I like downtown chicago - I love the areas outside of the loop lol. I will capture a video downtown here and there but the other areas are more authentic to Chicago and way more interesting than downtown for me personally. Being a local - I rarely even go downtown lol! I am all over the city and surrounding suburbs. I love seeing new things - being in the actual neighborhoods vs downtown. That really makes me happy! I like for viewers to see what I see instead of putting the over my head or lower than my face. I want people to see exactly what I see because it makes others feel like they are actually there and the natural sounds of the city are always the best. I appreciate all of that feedback because it really helps me to know that my style of recording is helpful to others 💕💕
This is such an amazing video! I Love that you don't just go to the LOOP!!! LOL Chicago is such a big city with more places to walk than just the busy places with tall buildings! Some YT'ers only walk around buildings that are tall where people are. lol The real Chicago is what the people want and you definitely give it to us. Not like some people that can only go to the MAG-MILE! lol
LOL! This is one of the best comments. I do not like to do the loop all the time. I will upload a video of the loop maybe once every three or four weeks like this week lol. But I like seeing other neighborhoods and different things. The mag mile is nice but that’s not where locals frequent all the time. I am from chicago and I can literally tell you how many times I’ve gone downtown (outside of work). I truly appreciate your comment and it really makes me happy that others gravitate to this kind of content. I really appreciate that 💕💕💕
I would say - Dove’s Luncheonette - Piece Brewery and Pizzeria - Small Cheval - Antique Taco - Mindy’s Bakery is really good - Devil Dawgs - Hangry Joe’s - Urbanbelly - and underdog. Any one of those are delicious!
