Thank you! What would you do if you had a 2007 RX350 in this case? Is it true also that to open the gas door, your car's 12V DC battery must not be dead?

Hi, I can't recall if that is the case on the 2007, but most models have a manual lever or string at the back of the fuel filler door actuator that you can pull to open the fill door.

If you need a temporary solution until you get a spring, just wrap the catch for the plunger in strapping tape or other strong tape. This lets you keep the door closed, but it will easily pry open with a key or screwdriver.

A question I haven't been able to find the answer to elsewhere. I've got a 2011 RX 350. The manual and fuel door say to use Premium gas. The 2012 RX 350 has the same engine, with I believe no modifications from the 2011, and it says to use Regular gas. Has Lexus given any retroactive advice on this? Regardless, is it now okay to use Regular gas on an everyday basis?

There has been no official statement regarding that, but in my personal experience and opinion, you are totally fine to use regular gas in the 2010-2015 RX.
