Raul Pimentel Understandable. Considering Kenshin true height, it would properly scale better with 8” figures. Even storm collectibles. But it looks nice fighting random 6 inch goons. Hopefully they release matching scales figures. I’m confused that he doesn’t even scale with the OPM figures. Regardless, it’s the best Kenshin figure to date.
@@paulocampo5830 if I have to guess, perhaps the use of soft goods have more to do with scaling. Then again, I'm not sure if their Slam Dunk figures are oversized, too. But if one isn't a stickler for scaling and wants a definitive Battousai figure regardless of licensing, then this figure is absolutely perfect.

Dasin Model is a third party figure producer man, their figures are not official, so yeah, all of them are bootlegs, but not shitty bootlegs, really good quality bootlegs.

you can use Dasin Slamdunk Ryota Miyagi’s Torso or body.. they used the Slamdunk’s figures body for Dasin SamuraiX.. sadly nobody on their QC team saw the height problem.. my biggest problem is the ponytail articulation.. so many Iconic Kenshin pose you cannot do anymore..
I think they reuse a body from Slam Dunk line. It's perfectly understandable Slam Dunk have tall body because they are basketball players after all. But Kenshin is a small dude.
Very mixed feelings about this Kenshin. The size doesn’t bother me one bit as this isn’t part of any 6 inch line and with enough success might start its own line. The clothes look fine but the top half is waaay to poofy (might have to glue part of his shirt to the torso to keep it from riding up every time you pose it). But the worst aspect of the figure is the sword. Those uniform little arches on the sharp side just look horrible, that is not how those indications look on a real sword and pretty much will keep me from ever posing him with his sword fully out of the sheath. Also, no battoujutsu pose hands (with the index and middlefinger more extended before he pulls his sword or an angry face looking to the right which would be perfect for that pose. So far, the Figuarts Zero Kenshin is still my favourite, even if it’s a statue. There is much good here but so many missed opportunities that fail to make it great. Disappointing.
Chances of this guy getting an official release from Bandai are VERY slim...the reason he is tall is because it uses the same body type as the slum dunk figures done prior to this one...why would you want to glue his shirt?!?!? You gotta keep in mind, it is fabric and even on this scale is very difficult to make something close to the source material...nothing beats a statue BUT no articulation...this isn’t an official release either, not up to some people standards but a nice effort

Not quite. If you're a stickler for scaling, he'd fit better with the 8" figures, such as the Bandai Thundercats or the NECA Karate Kid figures.

In the manga it’s a brownish, bordeaux color, so they might have based it of that.

Won't work as the faces and the cloth would then be large. Officially, Battousai is 5'2 so the Figma blank body would be appropriate. That is small.
