    Have a couple of these videos gone, i thought i remember more than part 1 and part 2? Remember seeing in something about stop closer to city airport and one closer to odyssey?

      @@kathyholdsworth1469 There was some older content that has been unlisted to the unscripted and poor quality nature of the videos.
      They will be remade in the future.

    Fantastic video. A crying shame of the several decades of neglect on rail investments in Ireland, spending hundreds of billions more on tarmac and developers, trapped in a cut throat dependancy on oil, on roads and in a climate crisis. Plus partition

    Can anyone explain why they had to repeatedly lock and unlock doors every time the border was crossed, regardless of the presence of intermediate stations? It seems very odd to me.
    Also was not the Common Travel Area in existence from 1923, so why would this be necessary?

      The CTA didn't exist until the good friday agreement in the 1990s

      The hard border still had customs checks and allowing a passenger from the ROI to jump off of a train as it passed through NI would mean they would avoid all border checks and would enter the UK illegally.

      @@CptnPhasma It definitely existed since the mid 1920s, it was suspended during WW2 and for a while afterwards. The current rules extend from the GFA era yeah.
