Trae was expected to be a franchaise-carrying great player, but has turned out to be "just" a very good player. Ben Simmons is among the most glaring busts in NBA history. So I definitely agree they are not at all on the same level.

Jrue contract is solid because he’s not out there to really score, he’s always been known as a great defender and a smooth playmaker. He doesn’t want to score 30 he’d rather score 14 and get 2-4 steals maybe a block or 2 and do all the other stuff one way guards wouldn’t do
Jrue was unreal in the playoffs. Whenever Tatum or Brown had an off game, he just put the team on his back.

Actually this was one of the best signings of last season, second only another Celtics signing, Kristaps Porzingis.
Correct me if I’m wrong but 32/33 is the age where players generally start to fall apart. But cause most of the stars at that age are on contracts at that time, teams can do very little when those players fall off the cliff.

Agree. I don't agree with any of the max contract deals when the allstar/superstar are already age 32/33. Not sure why the Sixers would offer Paul George that kind of contract. I would understand it if was just a 2 or 3 year deal, but not 4 year deal.
Saying Kyrie the worst Dallas contract is insane, Dallas doesn’t have bad contract given that they wouldn’t have made the finals without Kyrie, and they only lost Derrick Jones Jr in free agency.

The worst contract on the Hawks is DeAndre Hunter. Giving a max contract to a player who's a multi time all star and took the team on their deepest playoff run since Kennedy was president is completely understandable.
Not disagreeing with you, but didn‘t the Hawks made the Conference Finals in 2015?

Hunter got a starter contract, got moved to the bench, and has missed significant time with injuries in every season since the extension. Dude is 6'8" with a long long arms, but he's an awful rebounder, and can't even make layups consistently. Not to mention his complete lack of ability to pass or create for himself.

Kyrie avg 25,5,5 on near 50-40-90 numbers with it just being 0.03% off of his Field Goal percentage from said numbers to be a reality this season. Also avg 20 ppg in the Finals while notching the highest point total in said finals between then Mavs vs Celtics with him scoring 35 points.
Jaylen Brown the FMVP avg 20ppg in the finals..... Put Tatum on the bench for said Finals and the results remain the same. The Celtics won because they had more 3pt shooters while Dallas had none. You really don't know Basketball guy😂.

Zeke Nnaji is the worst contract on the nuggets, not MPJ. Nnaji making 8 million a year for four years while not being a serviceable nba player has really hampered the nuggets ability to make moves on the margins. Mpj is at least a very good player while Nnaji isn’t really an nba player at all.

Ben Simmons would by far be the worst among all contracts. Even when he's healthy, he declined to a point where he is not good enough to start anymore. At least the others are still starter-level players and just might not get valued as much.
Luckily for the Nets, this is the last season of his contract.
