I’m in the Midwest ,hardy hibiscus ,not tropical should do good for you. I have four and they do very well ,they do die but you can cut them down and they grow new growth. Cut down to a few inches and in early summer you’ll see new growth growing and boom they shoot up. They surprise you. They should do good. You might get longer enjoyment as your warmer weather.
