Yes very much, it's not the first time and he is a huge liability to the entire county. I'd demand an audit of all emergency, FEMA/OEM, grant, federal, and general funds but the state and federal Auditors would probably meet unfortunate endings. Corruption *cough* *cough*

I had a call do that to 911. They called me back 30 seconds after from a cell phone number. I saw a guy I thought was getting car-jacked so I trailed them and gave the cops a turn by turn. The gun was fake and supposed to be a joke but the arrests fines and the police ready to kill wasn't

Yeah, they need to boot him from office, not sure why they keep electing him. It is a very small rural county, so it's probably easy to get reelected in Pershing County.
Winnemucca, Lovelock, Colfax, that same Highway 80 again hummm. Coyote Canyon and Trinity Canyon are aprox. 100 Kms away from each other on a parallel line to that Hwy-80. That Highway 95 going S could be relevant too. It looks as it leads close to Yosemite Park which seems to be another important area for dissapearances. If one follows that Trinity Road way further up into the ranges it leads to a location that seems abondoned called Tunnel Camp. Its a maze of roads but Trinity Canyon, Coyote Canyon and that Tunnel Camp make kind of a neat triangle. It's 70 Kms (62 Miles) aprox from Coyote Canyon and 30 Kms aprox (18 Miles) from Trinity Canyon. Perhaps it's an interesting place in the overall picture, just a wild guess. River banks and creeks could be looked at for possible burial sites for missing people. Wow, I just red a bit of the History of that place Tunnel Camp. Another interesting little place within that region is an abandoned tungsten mine and a spring in the middle of nowhere, kind of a small green point in the middle of the brown landscape. May not be relevant to these cases but it is curious. It seems like a small wildlife refuge. There is also kind of an abandoned cattle enclosure not that far. It's called Porter Spring. About 40 Kms aprox. from Lovelock.
Can I suggest a few things as you investigate these cases. 1. Bring gloves, and ziplock bags. Any evidence you may find please seal them for authorities or labs to check for DNA. 2. Take pictures of the evidence. But make sure you keep an extra copy for yourself. Can’t always trust those small town police departments. 3. Leave a gift. Such as a fruit or a bottled water. Keep your hopes up high also who knows if there’s someone else wandering in these places. Check back in a day or two to see if someone had tampered with what you left behind. Don’t forget to take samples of DNA, if they didn’t take the stuff with them. 4. Get a drone with a camera and surveillance the area as much as possible to see if you spot any strange objects or anything that can support the case. Hopefully my amateur tips can be useful for future investigation for y’all. Keep doing this amazing work in helping the missing people.
It’s sad that not enough was done. They should be taken on,I mean where was the call of duty- a sense of duty even ?! So so sad,we humans can’t watch out for ourselves. But,reverting back to your post, spot on and such a great idea to use a drone .
If you have the funds to actually do all this, it’s not amateur ..... but then again ... most people don’t have the funds ..... do you even know how much DNA tests cost ?
matthew lent i am Vickie’s niece , the 911 department claims they don’t have have the FIFTEEN minute phone call, they definitely will be getting looked into..
@@abbywashburn1551 With the Freedom of Information Act you can request a 911 tape to be released. I'm a 911 dispatcher in the state of Illinois so I know first hand that EVERY SINGLE 911 call is recorded. It's required. The police department has to go back to that tape and actually redact personal information about the caller before they can release it. My guess? They're too lazy to go back and do it. Keep on requesting and keep on pushing to get the tape released

The thing about bipolar disorder (formerly called manic depression,) that I think a lot of people may not realize, is that it really is BI-polar, meaning "two poles", depression AND mania, at least in the more common type of bipolar. When someone like Vickie who has bipolar disorder disappears I think a lot of people jump right to considering the depression side and jump to the idea of them possibly choosing to commit suicide or something, but the mania is at least equally important to understand and consider. Mania is a different thing from hyperactivity or happiness. Mania ranges in severity, but often surfaces as an almost delusional state of outgoing activity, or risk taking, or inflated sense of self/capability, and more. Mania could at least just as easily get someone lost as depression could. With mania you never know what someone might decide to do. They legitimately might think of something, just overnight, like "I'm gonna become a hiker today" despite having zero actual experience hiking, but just decide on a whim to go try it like its their new serious life hobby. I'm not saying this describes Vickie or her situation, but it sheds light on the sort of possibility that should be considered. Her motivation for going out into the middle of nowhere could be something as seemingly strange as randomly deciding she wants to take up camping, or hiking, or survivalism, or some kind of wildlife study, or photography, etc. It seems strange, but that's what mania can be like a lot of the time. Someone could have no experience, for example, mountain climbing, and decide to go out and buy a harness and rope and carabiners and think they can just take up rock climbing. You just never know. If Vickie was ever into art, photography, UFO-chasing, hiking, camping, exploring of some kind, or essentially any activity that can take place in the desert of NV., any of it could potentially be a reason for her to decide, in a manic state, to head out to the desert underprepared and end up stuck.
Actually, when I hear of someone bipolar going missing in strange circumstances, my first thought is severe mania, not depression. For me mania seems to be more dangerous. Because someone who is in a manic state has a lot of energy, motivation and belief in success of their crazy plans. They can be very overconfident, which can be much more dangerous than lingering in swampy cloud of depression and self doubt.
Oh cool, cops decided someone getting stuck in the middle of nowhere isn't an emergency and tow companies didn't bother coming up to help because she had no money. Wtf kind of world do we live in?

I am unable to come up with a reasoning as to why she was out in such a desolate area, but... I am a 36 year old female, and I am also Bipolar. My only little piece to offer up is that the #1 tactic for trying to clear my head that I have used throughout my life is driving around and listening to music. So... as far as that goes, a person can end up all kinds of places through that method of trying to calm oneself.
Its tragic that she was just another statistic to some, but to those of us that care, she was a human being and hopefully her story will help someone else. Thank you EWU for sharing that and all the others you do. I enjoy them. And I'm super glad y'all made it out of there safely. Be careful and keep up the good work.

Google maps had me take a mountain road in California... It was a one lane dirt road and I was in a 26' Uhaul and couldnt turn around... Im lucky I made it
It’s true. I’m in Canada, & Google maps have taken me waaaay off the correct route...I’ve been led to a secluded place & then just left, while I thought google was just recalibrating, but it never picked up again...thankfully I was able to call someone, but I can’t imagine what would happen if I was somewhere at night, or if I had just tried to keep driving...scary.
One time google maps told me to make a right turn onto a one way street going the opposite direction. Google maps is going to kill someone one of these days.
I was born and raised in Northern Nevada. There are a lot of other worldly things that happen out there in that Desert. If you are out there long enough, you're going to see and experience things that cannot be easily explained. It's an Amazing Place, but it must be treated with the utmost respect. Even then, out the Nevada boonies, there are a lot of things going on. What I can say is, try and be prepared for anything. I personally believe Vicky, Judith and Patricks cases are all connected in some way. I also feel that these are abductions. Vicky was close enough to Lovelock, she shouldn't of had one problem walking back to Lovelock or a nearby house. Sometimes out here walking becomes necessary, and for me to think she couldn't walk 7 Miles or less to civilization, makes me think something happened to her. I've had so many friends and relatives that had to walk in from the Mountains out in Northern Nevada and generally it works out. I believe something bigger is going on out there and that the powers that be don't want attention being brought to it. So many UFO sightings in Northern Nevada, it only makes sense there would be abductions happening
You guys suck , i have personally seen some shit out here in oregon i cam explain , i grew up around jets planes ect, so i know it was something waay out , dont act like bullys , i fuckin hate bullys

Besides the typical posts of when it first happened and stuff, but like, NOTHING? This is crazy. How does someone just disappear into thin air? Edit: The fact she called 911 AND towing services and not a single one tried to help, especially 911 services makes my blood absolutely boil. That is fishy, and something is not right or adds up. Even after the fact she made the 911 call, she's reported missing and not a care was given??? Careless. Don't get me wrong I will always support police, etc but this is sad and careless to me.

I would not be able to live with myself knowing that I did not help that woman and now she's probably not alive anymore. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. As a little bit of a suggestion to you guys, maybe in the future add a little map to show where you are in the area, as someone that's never been to the area, everything kind of looked the same. I think those people typically go missing in National Parks near water and have "other criteria", like they're not able to speak, have some type of health issue(s), are very young or very old, terrible weather conditions/bad storms occur right after the disappearance, shoes are usually found &/or bare footprints....
@@karynagibson05 That is not always the case. There are now 411 cases in urban areas. Not all of the cases share all of the profile points either. We don't know whether or not she had a disability, and the disabilities can be something as minor and temporary as having a common cold. The multitude of boulders is the most compelling thing about this one. There are interesting things told by Native Americans that you can look up and research about what lives in caves and boulders.
When she saw that no one was coming to rescue her, I imagine that if she had a map, she wanted to go to the closest populated place to find help by going in a straight line and she walked up to it is exhausted and probably dehydrated too. So that's where you have to look.
@@cyndisherry7547 Surprisingly most the time it's pretty easy to see drop offs. Unless it's pitch black. Even then you can generally tell. There's no logical reason she couldn't make it 6 miles to the nearest house. These areas aren't the hardest terrain to walk out of most the time. Pretty easy usually
@@jamessmith159 Agree, but the strange thing is apparently she left food and water behind and the back door of her vehicle open. In the selfie that door looks closed. That place of the banana peeling could draw a search line from that point onwards. It looks as she left in a rush in panic mode ? or are we talking about a possible abduction instead ? Its a mistery.
@@cyndisherry7547 Yeah people in Manic states don't always make the best decisions. It almost makes me feel like she was being pursued or followed by something. Her making such a drastic move of trying to climb the wall of the road. Her car was also stuck, just like Patricks. It's all very interesting. Even in a Manic state, I would think there should of been a good chance she would of been able to walk to town or a nearby house.
@@jamessmith159 Others mentioned rolling papers. Perhaps she sparked one up and it set her off. MJ is known for causing paranoia. Paranoia induced in a person who is manic or predisposed to manic behavior is far from a good mix. Maybe she did abruptly abandon her vehicle and flee from something however the something may have been only something manifested in her mind. It would still seem just as real to her as if an actual psychotic serial killer was trying to abduct her. In such a panicked state, assuming that was the case, she would likely have made a series of poor decisions which could have lead to some sort of injury (or worse), especially if at night. If alone and injured, it's possible she may have been stuck in place which made her a sitting duck for wildlife predators in that area. This is just a random guess based on the video, known facts stated and combining proposed possible scenarios stated by others as well as a bit of my own take. Also, none of what I stated is implying anything derogatory toward the victim of this case nor was intended (her manic depression was indicated by family and the effects of THC on people suffering from manic episodes is well known as are the potential results of manic episodes triggered by psychotropic agents). May God bless her family with closure to this case.
From my point of view, it's best to start from where your vehicle was and go to the nearest populated place. If she panicked and left at night, she may have run for some reason or to escape an animal and she fell and hurt herself and she did not get up again. If this is the case, an animal may have scattered its bones, but we would find them anyway. Thing we're pretty much out there, she never managed to reach anyone to ask for help.
Do you think some of these are created attractions? Like propped circumstance and made up. The car is there, not impounded; maybe she's not really missing but hiding in the public.
Yea someone went missing right behind my house in the woods so far me and my friend and the cops found his jacket and his flashlight and not so long ago me and my friend went where he went missing and found gun shells

This is why I shouldn't drive at night. I'll end up on some weird "road/trail"/middle-of-nowhere. I tend to lose my sense of direction and surroundings. In an area of vast desert it would be even more disorienting. In Utah Valley they say "Just look for Mt. Timpanogos then you'll know which direction you're heading". We're surrounded by mountains and they pretty much all look the same to me!
I will say that maybe she got stuck and tried getting free but she couldn’t and some sort of animal or mountain lion caught her or she could have tried walking to a direction but got lost somewhere deep in the valleys

Energy, motivation, confidence.. three words that do not come to mind when i think of my condition

I am unable to come up with a reasoning as to why she was out in such a desolate area, but... I am a 36 year old female, and I am also Bipolar. My only little piece to offer up is that the #1 tactic for trying to clear my head that I have used throughout my life is driving around and listening to music.

I'm noticing a pattern with these cases.
Tell me more Mama Llama. 🐺
What have you found out??
Do you think some of these are created attractions? Like propped circumstance and made up. The car is there, not impounded; maybe she's not really missing but hiding in the public.
Same! I noticed it as well. Would be interesting to put these all together and see how far apart they are happening from each other
Yea someone went missing right behind my house in the woods so far me and my friend and the cops found his jacket and his flashlight and not so long ago me and my friend went where he went missing and found gun shells
You guys are AMAZING. I would love to do what you guys do. The passion you have for this is incredible and inspiring.
the Pershing County Sheriffs are no good, their job is to help people.
Maybe if this crazy stalker would put as much effort as she does in trying to ruin people’s life’s into helping look for these missing people some actual good would be done 🤦🏻♀️
Exactly!
Did not expect to hear this woman was from Orem, UT! I live in the Orem area and have not heard a word about this until now. Wow, I can't believe that in 3-4 months I haven't heard anything about it. Yeesh! Back to watching now that I got that out of my system. Glad I'm seeing this, but obviously unfortunate circumstances for her and her friends & family.
(Does that mean I watch too much RUclips and not enough local news these days? )
I live in Utah too! I also didn't hear about her. That is awful.
@@theresas2520 I'll have to see if they have any local coverage on her. 😟 How sad
Thank you for caring and making these videos this will help families so much ❤
This is my favourite RUclips channel lately.
I will say that maybe she got stuck and tried getting free but she couldn’t and some sort of animal or mountain lion caught her or she could have tried walking to a direction but got lost somewhere deep in the valleys
there is a couple facebook pages of a bunch of nevadans that have big offroad rigs who go out and rescue people if you ever get stuck. its called Nevada 4x4 rescue (7000 members) all really helpfull from all areas of nevada
Exactly, if you ever get stuck, try to get help from a group like this.
I think that should be in every state.A lot of these people who go missing probably wouldn't.
@@kcorn12kc there is in most states, these people just need to be made aware of them before they go ofroading lol
If there are shady activities dealing with that sheriff's office, then your putting yourself and your family in harm's way. What your doing is fantastic and heartfelt but before you stay out there you better come up with a foolproof plan so you don't also disappear. God bless you and be safe!
Like a place like that you can go for miles and not get anywhere and be confused so she could have gone pretty far and gotten lost and probably gotten away from my car I know you guys some baby wipes and stuff like that but she could have gone pretty far and you guys would have spent hours out there it's really insane on how people go missing like that and you can't find remains you can't find any evidence that they're even there but you guys did a really good job I'm trying to look for her keep up the awesome videos
I feel like she would of walked out the way she came in but Im praying for closure for her family.
@EXPLORE WITH US I just googled to see if the Pershing County Sheriffs Office Nevada had hopefully been shamed enough by your video to make a statement or have a MP flier up. Something. Anything. I could find nothing from them. I only could find posts on Facebook about her. I hope the sheriffs office at least took an official missing person report. But you are right. This is an obscene dereliction of their duty as public servants. 🤬
If she called 911 and rescue companies then she wanted to live! Also 911 are partly liable for her disappearance or death absolutely disgusting of 911 I would do request for copy of the 911 call as well!
Also ask family if the backpack you found is known to them as a maniac depressive is likely to have lots of napkins and baby wipes in their bag I know this because I have experience with people who suffer from mental health issues!
I absolutely love what you guys are doing with your channel. I live in New Zealand so not many things like this happen here at all, also seeing the American landscape is awesome. I find these doco style videos where you're searching and investigating, its so intriguing to me! It's always running through my head, why would they go there, where would they walk to, did they meet up with someone and run away on purpose, so many scenarios. Love the work guys
Thank you so much Lish, so happy to hear you are enjoying the content. 🐺🐺
Lush my little Sister lives in New Zealand, and there have been many many unexplained disappearances ! The last one I heard of was in October 2019 prior to that another disappearance of a young Lady tourist who unfortunately was found dead in an electrical maintenance cupboard in a shopping mall only two doors away from her hotel ! Yet the same cupboard had been checked on numerous occasions prior to her body being found! Mysterious !
@@delzek1 missing people cases here are unfortunately, a lot of the time, gang related. Our gangs aren't big or all that scary but if you owe them money they're known to deal with it and our cops are scared of the gangs. The biggest case that iv heard of recently is an Asian student going missing and there's a 100k reward. Unfortunately for tourists here, they dont understand our landscapes, forests, mountains, rivers and a lot get lost when they've gone hiking or site seeing very unprepared for the very changeable nz weather that can be burning hot during the day but deathly cold overnight even during summer
@@MissMolly3377 hi I honestly don't remember her name, there was an arrest made according to the documentary it wasn't in October 2019 it was 2018 apparently ( a security guard was arrested and charged !) There has not been a follow up documentary as of yet? ? My friend thinks she was an Irish student on a gap year , but I can not remember to be fair although I thought it happened in October 2019 ? It was the documentary on New Zealands missing " Aboriginal females" sorry I couldn't be of any decent help !
@@delzek1 New Zealand doesnt have aborigines. I mean I'm sure there's one or two here now but they're not native to New Zealand. That's Australia. A completely different country all together...
Im looking around like ..damn where did she go?! That area just gives me The Hills have Eyes vibes. Are there any cliffs? Was she walking in the dark? So many questions bc that is A LOT of area and just vanish
Edit: found out she was found. That's terrible. Nobody helped her.
Hills have eyes vibe with you on this
I am moved that you took so much of your time and searched for her when no one else is.
If she was in a manic stage she might have done anything crazy.
But her family said it was out of character for her to venture out into nowhere .. Just because someone suffers from depressive / related issues...doesnt mean crazy. Or crazy events occur. I cant understand this kind of response...most people suffer from depression being down feeling negative at some point in their life. Glad dude that made comment that you are super human !!!
@@coonhoundqueen9216 Have you had any experience with M/D. It's not just like regular depression. Do you know what a manic episode is? It doesn't sound like you do. I wasn't denigrating the poor woman. I was trying to add some light to what might of happened. People who look at this incident as such a strange thing don't understand manic episodes which can come from this kind of disease. People in a manic episode will indeed act "crazy" and to pretty outrageous things. Before you get all virtue signal on me, you should educate yourself on the subject.
I might be totally wrong but this is just my take on the case based on the information presented in this video. To me it sounds like she just wanted to go on a road trip, made a spur of the moment decision to do so in her manic state, underestimated the difficulty of the terrain, got lost, got stuck, couldn't get help from the sheriff, tried to walk to help and died of dehydration on the way to Lovelock. At any rate, irregardless of exactly how she ended up stuck out in the desert, hopefully her body is found so her family can have the closure of a funeral and a gravesite to visit.
@@SmokeRingsPipeDreams Sir, not all manic episodes are severe, thanks
@@ly9712 Yes, I know that, but some of them are and end up in extremely erratic behavior, ... like driving way out into the desert and then continuing on foot into a hostile environment without any survival supplies.
I'm just disgusted with the human race. I can't believe no one helped that poor woman 😥
Encounter the only perfect human...Jesus...just sayin

Maybe try an get a drone to help search for people that go missing? I’d love to see that!!
Kassie Luv I’m sure if you can afford to buy them one they would be more then willing to use it as an expensive but great tool!
Kassie Luv, I love that you said that and that they ended up finding her by using a drone. It seems your idea was spot on.
@@debrarobinson6558 It seems they were able to buy a drone, since that's how she was found. You come off a little snotty in your comment.
@Con Sitter You're just rude. Plain and simple.
This is so sad. She reached out for help so she clearly did not want to disappear and no help was given to her. Honestly what y'all do is amazing and I am sure family and friends of the missing ppl are so grateful for what you do. Keep up the good work.
It’s a real shame and tragedy that she called for help and they just left her out there.
Hello I like your mysterious videos about missing people
Thank you. 🙂
Lil Nas a great singer fair dancer but a really great voice!
I hope you folks are carrying some sort of protection when you’re walking around remote areas!
Right if multiple people have went missing in the area and something is hunting there random backpacks everywhere and possible a reason why law enforcement wouldn’t respond screams missing 411! Even if I was with a group of people I would have a gps transponder and weapons!
13:24 He open carries.
William Smidt he’s packin heat
William Smidt you don’t see it? It’s right there on his hip. Am I watching a different video than everyone else here?
Wow! You are so courageous to speak out against the useless, lazy sheriff who abandoned this lost & stranded woman. Thanks for your searching efforts.
Looks like the pic she took inside her car she was sitting in the passenger seat was there sumone else with her?
Mirrored image.
Yes @Donnie Young you’re right. The picture look like she is on the passenger side...
Purojohnk / Gabby T. Well she might’ve gone outside for sometime and went back in on the passenger side
Correct when you take a selfy some times the camera will default to a mirror image it is probably that
Donnie Young TRUE it looks like she was on the passanger side!!!
Good job calling out those who were too lazy or greedy to help. Pershing County and the sheriff should be ashamed. They left a person to die. Thank you for caring enough to search and call out the authorities.
I LOVE that you guys are so dedicated to help finding missing people out in the desert! I wish I was made of money so I could just buy you guys the travel trailer! You guys are amazing and what you stand for and are doing is amazing!
Is it possible that her car was intentionally put there and she's in another location?!?
That's what I was thinking
Sending you lots of luck, lots of love, and lots of prayers from Australia. Thank you for your efforts, the effort the actual police should have put in, ( isn’t that what they are for, to serve and protect ). I hope Vickie is found regardless of her condition. That little boy deserves to know what really happened to his mum, instead of wondering for the rest of his life.
they found her dead on Jan 29th between Lovelock and Trinity Canyon
Thank you for being curious! So interesting!
