thanks to Wim Hof I take cold showers everyday, helps your circulatory system, boosts your immune system, boosts your energy levels. When you first start your cold showers and you gasp when you get in it's because your body isn't optimized yet but the more you do it you will not gasp anymore because your body will be optimized🧘🏻‍♂️🥶. All the Love all the Power.❤️

Do you take a warm shower then go cold or is the whole shower cold?

I WENT SWIMMING YESTERDAY IN 40 degree WATER.
I've been doing that for 3 years!
    I'm 73 & can testify:
    1. all my joint pains are gone!
    2. I'm stronger than iI was at 30!
    3. I swim underwater using the DOLPHIN KICK & BUTTERFLY STROKE.
    4. I'm 6'4" at 195 lbs.
I feel the best I've ever felt!
    5. I've been a runner, bicycle rider, hiker & in 1976 my friend & I won the SOUTHEAST CANOE CHAMPIONSHIP!
I'm not new to "PHYSICAL FITNESS!"
A 16 foot pool & the swimming +cold is BETTER than ALL combined!
IT'S DANGEROUS TO SWIM IN COLD WATER & YOU MUST "GET USED TO THE COLD!"
I have a "HOT TUB OF WATER WAITING!"
*DON'T STAY IN OVER 5-10 MINUTES AT FIRST!*
    HYPERTHERMIA IS REAL!
    **EXTREME
    CAUTION***!!!!
Go slow! *EXTREME COLD WATER, HAS KILLED!*

I'm 46. I did a cold bath at 60 degrees F. with heart submerged for 30 minutes yesterday. I was distracting myself with a funny video on my phone through most of it so my arms weren't in the water. As long as heart is submerged does it really matter?! I think I was shivering for a while in the water though before 30 minutes. I stayed in though and when out was shivering quite a while. Pretty concerning but house was 70 degrees and I was fully clothed under two blankets so eventually shivering stopped. Should I get out when I start shivering in the water no matter what temperature?!

I absolutely would NEVER stay in COLD WATER until I started shivering!
I swim in a cold swimming pool & HAVE a HOT (212°) TUB WAITING!
Staying in COLD water too long can KILL with HYPERTHERMIA.
I'm not the "ICE MAN" (Wim Hoff) and you AREN'T either!

After 1-2 years of semi-consistent cold exposure, I indeed do not get sick anymore. I know the immune system indicators only improve slightly in several studies, and doesn't explain what happens to me and others' anedoctal experience. I truly think this is where the science hasn't caught up with the real world. The benefits are pretty real and striking. More elaborated studies need to be done.

Been doing it since 2018 don't get sick. Visited my family for a reunion within 24 hrs everyone was vomiting, fevers very sick. Came home with my fam they got it, vomiting fevers ect... I was the only one who didn't get sick. I live where it's below 0 24 hrs a day so the showers are freezing cold. IT WORKS.

@@Stan_801 Yep, the actual immune system indicators only improved slightly in several studies but that doesn't match my personal experience at all. I dont' even do cold plunge because it's just too inconvenient in my city. I only do cold showers and the showers don't even get cold enough in summer here. Yet in the 1-2 years I have been semi-consistently doing this, I haven't caught a cold/flu/covid once. Even during period when I had extreme lack of sleep, which normally collapses anyone's immune system, I didn't get sick. This is a case where the science hasn't caught up with the real world yet. They need to understand the immune system better and design better studies to truly test the benefits.
