I love the classic tunes being brought back in here too.
I really like your emphasis on injury prevention.
Happy You Day! Watching AK is like watching a magic show; I’m in my seventies and have no expectations of the doing the incredible feats you do (I do exercise quite a bit), but I’m fascinated by your accomplishments. Have watched for many years, on-off.
Superb Al, great information, love your channel 😊👍
Yeah man my first thought was seeing Jack Arnow doing one in his apartment at like age 73. He said he lost the skill and had to retrain a number of times over the years, but the last time he tried to relearn it was in his late 60s and he said it took him about 5 years to get it back.
🎉❤ HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎊
Al I’m 77 years old and finding harder to get up and down from the floor. I’m trying to work on squats everyday through out the day. What else can I do to make getting up and down easier? I would like to do planks but right now I can’t. I do push ups off chairs and kitchen counter tops gradually trying to work down lower. Sometimes during my walks I’ll do some off a park bench. Thanks for your time. Happy Thanksgiving.😊🪖
Being the same age and having a very different fitness background this is still my life goal and I'm confident in my ability to one day achieve it.
It's not too many years back that I actually managed a wrist assisted one which is still quite a downgrade from the actual one, but I'm still proud of it. Nowadays I've fallen out of the fitness thing due to bad life choices but Al always manages to inspire me to go for the gold and surpass my previous achievements from back in the days. One day yet I WILL manage a one-arm chinup (in a competitive chinups situation with friends/co-workers where I'll tell them my left arm hurts so I may not perform to the best of my ability and I'll instead participate with one arm only).
Wtf 😅 At your age and still seeking approval from others...
Can I have a video where you show and talk us through all of your tattoo’s? 😊
I`m 72 and can do only "australien" pull ups because of shoulder pain (chronical tendinitis). With push ups, press ans so on there ist no problem. But when I begin to pull up classical, in the middle of the movement comes pain and blocks the further movement. What alternative or additional can you advice me, dear Al? Can I "betray" the damn tendinitis and stay fit?
Hi Al,
What do you recommend to loose weight and get more lean?
I think lots of people would appreciate a video about getting into shape for (morbidly) obese people, like over 220 lbs and higher. Even if they have never trained. I think such video would be handy, especially after the pandemic lockdown. I know very few who lost weight during pandemic, but I know a bunch who gained weight big time. The pandemic also changed the way people work - those who can work home office, they do, so I think such people would appreciate it as well.
Not over complicated, walk twice a day increase walks every 2 weeks, don't eat processed food, drink a lot of water, if you drink a a lot of soda switch it with sparkling water, once a month of walking start doing the easy variations of push ups, pull ups, squats.
Hi Al, just starting out in calesthetics and noticed I have one side of my body (the right) more developed than the other! How can I balance them out? Any tips please

Calisthenics v. Weights which is better
Hey hey hey.. How do you hold yourself accountable to stay in shape or loose fat? Thank you.
Hey hey hey! How do I do it? Habit, discipline, and even maybe a little luck. How can you do it if you’re struggling? Hire a trainer!
How old are you?
I answered your question in the video. Watch again and listen carefully.
Weighing 125 lbs, for an absolute fact makes is it actually not too far fetched at all. Quite easy.
That's bs
@@unbroken1010 sure child.
Of course I respect your age number but to be honest you never was a one arm pull up master. All your one arm pull ups look pretty poor
