There are plenty of spin offs they could do with the first, second, third, fourth generations, however I would be most excited to look at the generation where when kaguya came to earth and hagoromo's generation.

I’ve been saying this since way back when. There’s sooo much content about the ninja wars that they could write. They could milk a prequel so much harder than they did Naruto and boruto. Shame.
The perfect Boruto story line could have been something like...
Boruto since his childhood would be very interested in his lineage, his legacy, his last name Uzumaki and history behind it, his ancestors... Why they were wiped out and then finally having a resolve to revive his clan.
Then boruto would went on journey to find, rediscover and learn every justsu that Uzumaki clan developed and is lost.
He would find every remaining Uzumaki and gather info.
Another strong supporting plot would be that learning the lost techniques of Uzumaki clan would be the only way to rival the otsutsuki... As those sealing justsu were the only thing effective against them.
This could have established Boruto as a strong individual character rather then just being Naruto's son.
Cause when naruto was small he has his will of fire of becoming a hokage and earning respect of konoha people.
RN boruto is completely overshadowed by naruto and don't have too much of a strong plot of himself,

Kaguya Otsutsuki, master of the 4 clan powers, had them all but when the world needed her most, she was split and sealed.
A long time has passed, White Zetsu and I discovered a new Otsutsuki, an edgelord named Madara. Although he'd unlocked his Rinnegan, he doesn't have a lot of time left before he could ever use them.
If we want to see these legendary shinobi in action, we must address Masashi Kishimoto directly in a massive request. Thanks to this, it is possible that we could see it in a few years.

It's reasonable to assume that nobody would want to revive a legendary sealing master. Even madara and itachi were able to break their own seals so it would probably have been even easier for that guy.
For real, it’d be a cake walk for him. With how obsessed orchmaru was about learning all jutsu I’m guessing they learned about this guy. Especially after getting hit with the reaper himself, he’d undoubtedly dive into trying to understand it and it’s origins which would obviously lead him to learning about them.
I bet the reason he wasn’t revived is probably bc they couldn’t find the body.
Couldn’t access the body bc it was sealed at death (very likely for a clan that specializes in sealing to seal their dead)
Or they actually fear him so much to not try it. I think this is unlikely given that try gave no fucks about bringing back other incredibly dangerous powerhouses.
I think even if kabuto could revive him he would not do it cause with his strong will and fuinjutsu prowess and his strong life froce he could probably break the edo tensi control quite easily and you don'y want to mess with this guy

And not only did he bring them back he gave Madara Hash cells AND Rinnegan. It’s clear he didn’t consider or care about the danger his revives could pose, at least at the time of initial summoning.

Kabuto didnt revive any powerful uzumaki except for nagato....since he knew that the uzumakis were sealing experts and could free themselves from his hold.

I think No. Kabuto doesn't know it can be cancelled or disconnected by the reanimated until Madara told the Kages before he cancelling it.
The uzumaki clan was already wiped out before Kabuto was even born. So, he won't be able to find any useful materials like bodies or simply their (older generation Uzumakis) DNA's for edo tensei.

@@chrisperry5365 mito was already a history even before Kabuto was born. And about Kushina, she was sealed inside the death reaper sealing jutsu. So, Kabuto can't edo tensei them. He can edo tensei only those people whom he had collected data or dna.
There is massive scope and interest for them to go back to the beginning and tell the stories of each legend. A mini series (10 episodes each). We deserve that!

Then the Uzumaki clan, the leaders of Senju and Uchiha during the times Hashirama and Madara were kids, Tobirama, Madara and Hashirama, The Kaguya family. And so much more. I’m most interested in Madara though. He’s my favorite character

I heard a good theory, that Zetsu was the one who orchestrated the collapse of the Uzumaki clan and got three of the large nations to team up to take them down, because zetsu was scared that the uzumakis sealing jutsu would be strong enough to seal kaguya away again

I agree to the spin-off series. Or maybe even make a movie, or two. I hope they do , because the Naruto lore is so rich and has such good character depth That it would be a shame to not show the lives of the clan founders - and the White Fang.

It's shocking to me that they left the warring states period, young minato, young jiraya, young Hiruzen/Danzo, young itachi, young Kakashi, the sage era --- on the table -- but decided to go with Boruto and his era instead. Narratively, it's one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen from such a potent, world-wide IP make. Shippuden ends in such a thorough way that the premise of 'ninja-villages with hogwarts-style child soldier schools' no longer even works or makes sense.... then they exacerbate it with all the interdimensional aliens, clones, and steampunk technology .... and just 'jutsu' barely even works. Terrible artistic decisions all around.

The thing wrong boruto is the plot and story telling. Not the boruto itself.
In the novel, there was Asura's reincarnation before Hashirama time and his name is Uzumaki. He is so incredibly powerful until he transcends to a form that can move to another world (or planet).
If it was me, I would not go for Boruto but instead i would choose to show the Warring States Period where the shinobi is mind blown powerful.

why has naruto not trained with karin to use adamantine chains? she is the only current uzamaki that uses clan techniques. Just knowing some basic uzamaki jutsu would help make up for the power gap left by the loss of kurama

Naruto is not uzumaki basically.. He is a namikaze.. His surname became uzumaki because hiruzen wanted to protect him and hide that he is son of minato.

Maybe Kabuto knows about Ashina but is afraid to revive him. Hashirama is not affected when Orochimaru tries to control him and probably as a great ninja, maybe Ashina can do the same and make war more complicated.
ashina there a high probability that the reason they wouldn't revive him is because he is to strong sealing jutsus wouldn't work on him and would definitely 1 tap the reanimations with the chains alone so they probably were way to scared to do it or even risk it. theres also the option they they just couldent revive him because seals wouldent work on him

I think he wasn't revived because he was able to break control of reanimation over him and as he was able to seal beasts in seconds he would have sealed ten tails and boom naruto shippuden ends..

Sorry to say this, but the manga's author has forgotten about the Uzumaki clan. He is more interested in the Otsutsuki clan.
Kishimoto forgot about a lot of things tbh. Even notice how the same ideas we’re rescued over and over, but certain details were later ch aged or added? I like Naruto, but I wish Kishimoto seriously thought about what he’s antes this’d Tory to be because you can tell that he made things up as he went along.
OTSUTSUKI Clan precedes the Uzamaki and the reason Shinobu even have Chakra so yea I'd think they would lean harder on telling their celestial history as it pertains to the ending of Naruto and literally all of Boruto so far. Now it be kool if Boruto went to that time period instead when they time traveled and got to speak with Aujinawa and learn things from his clans ancestors.
Very possible..and that's understandable considering hoe many plots &stories he had already imagined and I toduced us to..it's gotta be hard to stay inspired and come up with new dope material after all that...the man might be mentally exhausted ...(example of Toriyama trying to please his fan base over the years, and coming up with less enticing plots)

I know it isnt mentioned in the manga or anime but maybe the reason Kabuto or anyone Else using the reanimation jutsu didnt ressurect someone from the Uzumaki Clan could be that upon the Uzumaki Clan members death their bodies are sealed away to keep their secrets hidden and to avoid anyone from using them for evil.
or they burn/"process" their dead that you cant use DNA for reanimation

It really drives me up the wall that Kishimoto laid the groundwork for the Uzumaki being these legendary sealmasters and didn’t have Naruto develop that skill.

I think even kishimoto himself hasn't been thinking so much about those details. for example hair colours. So I think you guys are overthinking this a bit too much. The reason why he was painted with white hair might be simply to show that is old and the reason why Mito was still with red hair at the age, was because Kishimoto was just focused on painting her as someone from Uzumaki, and Uzumaki has to have red hair, while he forgot that he painted their clan leader with white hair. Naruto mangas has always had a very simple answers for everything. Every intrigue that was there, was always with the simple answer. there was an intrigue in who was in the last coffin of edo tensei, there were millions of theories of who it was, based on all the presumable easter eggs that people thought kishimoto had left in manga about that, but no, none of them were easter eggs and the answer was the simplest one. the same about who tobi was, who was the one who approached dying sasuke after madara stabbed him, whose hand was the one with rasengan behind flying tsuchikage. The simplest answers for all of them, and people assumed it was more complecated simply because it was shown in the last image of the specific chapter and only the one part of the body was shown. You should learn the lesson and never ever overthing Kishimotos manga. there are no hidden theories in there. the whole story is the one that Kishimoto already showed us, he hasn't thought about anything else to leave hidden. Don't think about why Kakashis mother is not shown in the manga and about possible reason that she was someone from sarutobi clan, but was kept as a secret to not andanger his life. She was simply someone who was a stay house mom and had no role in manga. thats it. no hidden meanings. just like with everything in naruto manga.

6:17 nope, #1 Orochimaru was smart enough to know he'd struggle with Hashirama and Tobirama. Kabuto 100% knew he wouldn't control Madara for any amount of time, so if he knew of Ashina he would've likely avoided summoning someone who could seal the entirety of the zombie army in seconds.

I think that the fact that the land of eddies, and the Uzumaki clan in general, we're targeted by multiple nations, is enough to speak to the power of the Uzumaki clan. You have one group, that was specifically targeted to be destroyed by multiple boring Nations simultaneously. This means that these other warring Nations put aside their differences, and combine, to destroy the Uzumaki Clan and the land of Eddie's. Now maybe it's just that they're Jutsu were highly dangerous, but the members weren't strong. Because no one tried to destroy the land of fire with hashirama at the helm.
Nah, they were physically stronger than the average person, had very large chakra reserves and lived very, very long lives, longer than the average at the time, longer than Senju clan members. They were the perfect vessels for the most powerful tailed beast, and several of them survived the tailed bests being extracted. The reason those villages combined to destroy them was because they were too OP, when they got attacked, some clans went to distract Konoha, which had both Senju and Uchiha, while another group went to attack the Uzumaki clan alone. Sadlylike many other cool things in Naruto, they got sidelined because of Madara/Hashirama. Another thing to note is that by the time they got attacked, they were not only a clan, but a whole village just by themselves, on par with Konoha which was initially made up of both Uchiha and Senju, they were also cousins of the Senju. As for their feats, well, Mito Uzumaki the wife of the first Hokage became the very first Jinchuriki when they sealed the nine tails inside her, then it was taken out, she survived, outlived both first and second Hokage and died sometime during the third Hokage’s tenure. But I mean they could seal anything, could be your chakra, your arms, your eyes, etc. that alone made them extremely dangerous, imagine someone as strong as Hashirama that could also seal you inside a bottle or a scroll😂
That explained why Naruto was shunned that last name ring bells. Forget the tail beast within. Him

@@dabi4490 they were, also no one said Hashirama didn’t capture the tailed beasts. I said the Uzumaki are the only ones that could seal them consistently as well as being able to survive the extraction of a tailed beast.
even if Kabuto and especially Orochimaru knew of Ashina, they wouldn't dare revive him. Just reviving Hashirama made Orochimaru very vigilant since he knew Hashirama could break the jutsu at any moment which also Madara did since they knew how to break it and have the power to do so.
if the Boruto series would delve into the history of the Uzumaki clan then I would definitely watch it. I mean, they pretty much did the same thing with the Uchiha clan in the Naruto series.

they could also have said that no other ninja of their time couldve rivaled them, meaning no other ninja of their generation. Ashina is clearly older than them and could easily have been viewed as "before their time" an therefore not related to that statement
Yes there’s a good 40years age gap between Ashina and Hashirama. So definitely a different generation. Hashirama was probably in his prime strength while Ashina should be retired already.

Ashina sealed tailed beast. That was his thing. That’s it. That was literally what every Uzimaki were known for😭 mito sealed kuruma within herself just like Kushina said she was going to do. No ninja could rival because back then no ninja could seal tailed beast without an Uzimaki
Kabuto couldn’t revive the Hokages with edo tensei because they were already Reaper-Death-Sealed; Minato sealed himself when transferring Kurama to Naruto, and Hiruzen sealed Hashirama and Tobirama along with himself during his battle with Orochimaru. The only way to revive them was to reverse the seal which also would require a sacrifice - Orochimaru escaped this by doing a last-second takeover of a white Zetsu vessel, something Kabuto could not do.
All that’s to say, it would be safe to assume that Ashina couldn’t be revived by Kabuto because he, too, would have sealed himself away.

Something tells me this is why the other nations went after them not only cause they feared what they’d do with their power since they were probably peaceful but wanted to learn it to revive the uzumaki and use their power, but he sealed away his clan and it’s secrets
Imagine if naruto actually had his village and clan behind him the techniques he’d develop and fighting styles, there’s still a way to make him strong in the boruto series being that he lost kurama but writers lost their sense
Ashina definitely can control a tail beast with ease. Even 4th hokage using basic Uzumaki reaper death seal and took Kurama out like nothing. Just one sealing jutsu already tells you how strong Ashina really is. Definitely Hashirama and Madara level due to the forbidden Uzumaki sealings.

@@bjrnthebootybandit Its call use your head alittle. Uzumaki clans are known for sealing jutsu. Reaper death seal is basic because many others can still use it. The Uzumaki clan requires strong chakra for some of their jutsu. So the 4th can only learn so much from the clan.

My theory is, when Ashina was near death, he did a seal oh himself like Danzo so that no one could gain valuable info from his body.
I think kabuto knew about him but he wasn’t revived either because of two reasons
1) No one knows were he was buried so couldn’t get the necessary items to revive him and
2) If the stories are to be believed of how strong ashina was, it would’ve been a bad idea to revive someone like this cuz I think he would’ve free himself from the control of whoever revived him and kabuto knew this
I think if kabuto knew exceptionally strong shinobi (like madara and hashirama) could free themselves he wouldn't have revived madara
This would be the only TV show where I’d want a prequel for all the legends so I can learn their backstory and how strong they were in their time
i hope there will be a new naruto based show named like minato or hashirama and in that we show we just get to see some fights and more stuff just about the older generations
The Naruto franchise has so much lore that they could’ve had a prequel series, and then the initial Naruto series, and then Shippuden. It’s crazy that they’re reaching with all these new threats and new powers for the Boruto series but developing past stories into a series because the backstory in Naruto is crazy enough before you get to the initial story of Naruto, and the nine tails itself. Cuz that way we can learn about how mysterious the uzumaki clan really is and why naruto had such large natural chakra reserve. Kishi dropped the ball man

the thing that bothers me the most about the manga Naruto is how it is revealed that uzumaki clan is a powerful and influential clan yet no one seems to know them. almost all influential and powerful clans in naruto especially in the hidden leaf village are known to konoha yet every uzumaki in the manga are treated as a normal ninja. only during reveals that they are potrayed to be special because of their uzumaki bloodline.
It's because the uzumaki clan is one of the older clans that why not much is known about them only that they were really powerful and specialize in sealing Justus because hashirama learned a sealing justu from the leader of the uzumaki
They sealed tailed beast and we’re the middle man for the balance of power. After hashirama’s death the nations decided the uzimaki were not necessary anymore as everyone can seal tailed beast now and considered them a risk since they had numbers. Kushina literally explains it to Naruto

The way the story is told, we are supposed to gather that all the sealing techniques known by the Hidden Leaf Ninjas are that of the Uzumaki clan. So yes, The Gate of the Great God was learned by Hashirama from Ashina or someone else. And he had to go to Sage Mode to use it. So yeah, a very powerful technique. Ashina probably knew sage mode as well. Think of the summoning contracts they probably had since they were the master sealers. They probably could turn anything into a summoning contract.
Japanese people don't spell out every single detail. They give us more than enough information to put the puzzle together.

@@MaxJakkz If he was the leader, then that means he was the best in the village. We already know the Hidden Leaf got all their Fuinjutsu from the Uzumaki. Boruto should take stop or change course. Exploring the Uzumaki clan, past ninja wars, characters like Minato, White fang of the leaf and many other characters and historical aspects would be really interesting. There's still so much we don't know about the ninja world's past, and we've only seen a tiny bit of the crazy strong Uzumaki clan.
I for one think the one kabuto brought back the one that surprised madera was the very person you just talked about ..think about it ...if it was the first or second hokage it wouldnt have scared him as them being brought back was part of the plan anyway ..

Yeah if only we got that the anime/manga story wouldn't suck but with all the similarities feels like a recycled story. I feel like they had no ideas so came up with the change that "instead of ten tails being a mini boss its a trash mob by the end and the instead of Otsutsuki clan being main boss itll be semi boss to the end boss. (Just like madara being the semi boss that was made to look like the end boss) Hell even small things like how Naruto always went for ramen now they have the kids in next gen always going to grab burgers and hangout there. This is my personal opinion but I don't care about the shop because they haven't made me care about 60% of the stuff in the anime because its not relevant to the story at all whatsoever. This show would be great if they had better arcs like Naruto Bridge and original Chunin Exams then move into wild mission arcs that last multiple episodes and make you care about the outcome and character progression. At this point I feel like it is a slice of life anime half the time. We have had a few really good mission arcs in boruto just sadly most come from the manga and the anime is wasting a lot of potential not making really cool mission arcs as filler.

I have always been curios bout the uzumaki clan, strong lifeforce - tailed-beast level fuuin jutsu! and the mystery that shrouded the clan! the fact that naruto, the main-character was born from such clan is something that should be highlighted by kishimoto. I wish they are able to write more on some of the clans that formed Konoha, how the demographic and characteristics of prominent ninja before the senju and uchiha dominated the ninja world. It doesn't have all to be about Naruto/Boruto. They could linked and written stories bout the ninja clans that spread out from Indra and Asura and the forming of the 5 main villages and how Naruto World came about. That would be amazing.
