@@daviddemarco8327 That's because today they rely on sex jokes, violent jokes, jokes about what's between your legs, racist jokes, because "shock humor" which is the dumbest form of humor where the writer relies on shock instead of brain power is unfortunately the most common style of comedy today. Comedy without shock is a lot harder to produce. I'm not saying that AIIy McBeal or other shows from back then don't have lots of stupid jokes or bad language. Some of the comedy bits are quite horrendous actually.
Hard to explain the unadulterated joy, and giddiness that this show produced, to someone who has never watched it. HOWEVER...this clip would be a great start! lol
