I did this to my base rsx. I have it set at 100 fuel and -10 ignition @ 4,000 rpm. Its mild but still sounds better than basic 2 step. I feel pretty safe at this settings and rarely 2 step anyway. I only do it for my nephew and kids that like my car.

Chief - that could be so many things. It could be something simple like lean protection or something more complicated. You should really take it to a proper tuner and get it checked out.
Do you need a in-ecu hardware for any ktuner v2 applications or is it just for rsx? I want to tune my 14 accord and i dont know what i should get. I would prefer ktuner v2 since you can switch tunes without going around with a laptop and the fact you can save tunes to the v2 is just amazing.
Your car would doesnt need the "in ecu" board, its all done with the OBD2 port, no hardware modifications required - Before you buy a tuning system, check with your tuner as to which system they recommend - There are differences
Hey Nick! Great video, let’s say I want the pops but no flames, can i just mess with the ignition settings and leave the fuel alone? And is using the 2step ignition cut harmful to the engine?
Should the engine be on or off during reflashes? For example when turning on real time tuning, should I have the car in accessory mode and then turn the engine on after the flash is complete?

Hey there. So I just z3 6 speed swapped my 2006 base. I have the digital speed sensor off the 3rd gear. I’m wondering what would be my best option to adjust my Speedo reading. Ktuner in my stock ecu or go with kpro in a 02 to 04 ecu?There is literally next to no information on the 05/06 models in the forums. I also need to be able to shut off my intake runners as I have an rbc, 70mm throttle body, headers and exhaust etc. Any insight will be greatly appreciate and thank you in advance.

as a rule of thumb, if you have a very high flow straight through exhaust with no CAT, you should be able to get flames - But if you have a CAT, or if the muffler has baffles or chambers then you probably wont be able to get flames
Also need to see what is up with the fuel because I switched to bigger turbo 57/57 with 880cc injectors and I can’t get a 14.7 afpr at idle but I’m sure you will be able to see what it needs as far as that goes

Great contents. I have ktuner on my 05 rsx type s but not giving it a good use just upload the stage 2 map that comes with the software due to that dont have any dyno near me. Any advice to get advantage on this? It will be appreciated. Thanks

@@SIRICKO The antilag system here is created using numerical values on the charts found in the tuning software and is intended to serve a purpose (anti-lag), the system itself doesn't include a turbo simply because the system itself only includes the values shown. Its intended purpose is not the same as its actual meaning. Let's not get confused here

You can definitely leave the fuel alone. I show that in the video.

Something is limiting my ignition timing to not go lower than -10. I’ve poked around and can’t find anything, any ideas?
Ok so 08 civic Si, stock header/tsudo catback and cai, could you get flames?

Nick has a K24a2. Different engine
Thanks - This is true, my K24A2 is a very different engine then the Accord. Unfortunately yhe Accord engine wont make this same amount of power

I believe you have to have to turn it off once done - But my program is the dealer version, so it is a bit different then the end user version

How do I do this on my 10th Gen si with KTuner ? I don’t have the option to use ignition cut
if you went lower rpms, would it pop slower?
Would it harm the motor to have ignition cut without having anti lag enabled and fuel and ignition on 0 for a NA motor?

Unfortunately i dont think its possible with Ktuner, it just doesnt have those features unlocked

It unfortunately wont work the same on a 9th gen Civic because there is no ignition cut

Yes. Having a CAT will always block all the flames.
