This just puts a smile on my face.But as great as this theme and the one from the burton films are imagine how hot batman theme would be if both Hanz zimmer and Danny Elfman created a batman theme together.

This is an incredible performance by a VERY gifted duo of composers and yes, this AND the Inception score were BOTH oscar worthy, and should have won. But I feel that it is worth noting that the entire body of work from ZImmer and Newton-Howard would be just a good evenings work for Beethoven or Wagner. Alas, Beethoven and Wagner are not with us and we all benefit because Zimmer and Newton-Howard ARE! These guys represent what film scoring is supposed to be!
Just being in Hans Zimmer's mind would simply be amazing! He always knows how to make a piece of music mind-boggling! Thx for sharing this, I truly enjoyed watching it.

This guy is a master of tension and release. Strictly speaking.. this is a very simple piece... but masterfully arranged. For a few simple elements, it's very effective and very powerful.
