I layer surgical tape, 4 o 5 times. Then it is firm and does not move. Also I used 2 diferent types. The strongest on the top to support the the firts layers. It works for me. 😀

0:18 Sissi, I just thought of this. There's an adhesive that models use. I don't know what they call it, maybe something like "body adhesive," but it keeps costumes in place thru time and sweat. Maybe search on "body adhesive. "

Hahahaha Melissa I love this autocorrect: brownies! I also heard nothing but good about them 🍩🍩🍩Hahahaha!!! Thank you so much for watching my beautiful friend! 💋❤️🌹
Frownies last time I got them (2021) are thinner paper, and seem like less glue. So time to search...first I used gum arabic and manila envelope, didn't work, paper soaked it up. I got paper tape from an art supply store, its for taping down water colour paper, and for the back of framing projects - acid free and neutral PH :) the paper could be thicker (I only found med weight) but it is sticking quite well. It was $7 Cdn for 2inX20yards.
@@SissitheGerman Great! Maybe I just got some poor quality ones. I've bought them for years, but that last batch was about as good as the tape I just got, so I'm good with that. :)
Guten tag! I came across your video because I was curious how to make my own, I never tried frownies but they are expensive! So I think you should try a DIY again with craft paper and a starch water solution, spray starch water lightly on paper or place paper on face then spray the starch water! It will create a light adhesive but also will stiffen up as it dries and really stick to the skin and cause the craft paper to be stiff! After all frownies are unbleached craft paper with vegetable based adhesive! Which cornstarch is!! If you or anyone tried this please comment and let me know how it worked for you! Tschüss❣️ I use to live in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden 🫶
That is what I thought too. But comparing craft paper with the Frownies, I can definitely say that the paper for the Frownies is thicker! I still use my Frownies- even though I find they have gotten way too expensive these days! ;-)

I use kinesiology tape, it's perfect and it comes in colors. I like the pink one. It really works!!! Greetings from Argentina.

I'm trying this tonight lol! How long do I leave it on for?
@@holitavernier3999 Did you try Holi?
At least you don't live in Australia..its like $35-40. Still cheaper than $350 for Botox twice a year for my one mega frown line though.
I’ve never heard of frownies. Where have I been?? 😂 thx for the video
Frownies were founded in 1889! Hahahahaha- at least their website says so! ;-)

@@SissitheGerman Don't they have your video on their website? Are you affiliated with them?
I’m going to try silicone scar tape to see if there is a difference.
Use postage stamps! Same glue type as frownies :)
Hahahaha but more expensive!

I wonder if card stock and lash glue would work 🤔
I used Kinesiology tape and it worked wonders for me. It costs $5.
I will try that out next!
I was thinking to do the same, is that soft rather than rigid though?
Have you tried KT tape?
I haven’t- but from the look of it (just googled it lol) it’s probably too soft and flexible! I need it to be firm & sturdy! ;-)
