I usualy do the long fin mission last. I use the oppressor to kill all the cops near the boat then fly on top of a building to get rid of the wanted level, then I get my truck and get the boat so it's a nice easy ride to the drop off. Other then that I do the same shit.

Definitely the way to setup a Cayo perico heist. One thing I would've added tho.. was in case you do get the merryweather setup for the weapons, make sure to return your kosatka, then request it back when you get to the destination. That way you don't have to fly all the way back to the city from Grapeseed. 😃👍
@Gr4vity sometimes one will spawn in or I miss one not sure witch, just ignore him and take the hits and you won't get a wanted level

The longfin prep mission actually spawns a secret phantom wedge every time. It's always somewhere along the big bridge on the east side of the map by LSIA. You'll find it when your sparrow rockets lock onto the bad guys with it.
Yep. Only done this prep twice and both times the mission provided a wedge in southeast part of town.

Correct. Two locations are spawned and it’s the one with one truck in that location if you look on the map.

thanks for this guide. i bought the sub when it first came out and tried this heist once, was too complicated and hard for me and i never touched it again until today. with this guide, it made everything so easy and i completed it again under 15minutes. gonna be a good grind for me since my friends don't really get online very much.

A little improvement I’ve discovered that helps is when you dock your sub on the beach, push it up against the line of rocks (right of the Peer and Left of where Ty docked it in the video) the rocks will hold your sub in place nice and steady without it glitching the game. You can still park your Oppressor on top of the Subs bow so long as it’s flat when you get off.
I actually never knew you could put a construction hat on 😂 I always just go and blow everyone up with missiles get the torch and dip

I got the fucking buzzard by accident but luckily the fucking payout pretty much covers it
MK2 is not needed for this just use the sparrow it's just as fast
@@themonkey9603 its less agile than the mk2 and has a boost to get away faster especially when you are doing plasma cutter and the enemies are in the small ally way it is really useful.

The Longfin mission works like your advice for car collection. Just hook it up to the wedge and drive about a block away then let the cops drag you. You respawn down the street with no wanted level. Easy drive to the docks.
Yeah, but it wouldn't be as fun as cutting through the police barricades with the phantom.
I drive it to the docks its the same place every time , get out and kill myself and jump back in !
For the final mission (Merryweather helicopter) you can return your kostaka while following the helicopter and request it once you get the weapons so that don't you have to go all the way across the map to reach your kostaka
you can just blow up the heli and start a new mission takes less time :)
I was jst binge watching ur cayo perico heist this morning and then you upload thissss, so crazy. Ur videos are the best
banger vid like always! yea when I get merryweather I just launch a missile and blow up the valkyrie without even having to leave the kosatka, most I ever had to do it in a row is 3 times, still much much faster than doing the mission...
I prefer the Kosatka approach. It's much quicker to get to the primary and no chance of drowning after cutting the grate. I go for the primary first, then if I screw up I can just bail underwater and complete instead of having to restart. More money-efficient to prep the next heist sooner than restart the current heist for just a few 100K extra.
T you help me a lot, for 10 months I got everything possible to buy without shark cards involved. A lot of fun. No modes and crap,I’m a old men. Keep up dude.
I actually beach the sub up to the lookout tower and it works just fine and thx for the heads up about the photo in the plasma cutter set up I always went to the board but no more
After you exit the penthouse in the casino. Killing yourself in the hallway spawns you outside the front without a wanted level. Saves some time running around outside at the beginning and in the hallway to escape. Found it much faster!

Also if you didn’t know, you can force the game to allow you to pay off your wanted level, all you need to do is accept any job invite from your phone and you should get a message asking if you want to pay off your wanted level.

I had a heck of a time with the longfin this morning. The cops shot out most of the tires on the left side of the truck. It made driving interesting. 😊

Sometimes I use the stone hatchet in the office for the weapons mission. I end up bloodied, but I survive. it is a lot of fun!
You need these goodies to make the preps super fast: Oppressor MKII with rockets. Phantom Wedge. Guided missiles for Kosatka. And the Sparrow with rockets.
Scouting: Fast travel with the Kostaka as close to the Velum spot as possible. Store the Kosatka. Kill the guards which are not right next to the plane with Sparrow rockets. On the island take the bike and follow the pink flower route. Wheelie jump over the hill left from the road block. And head straight to the tower. After scouting the compound let yourself get caught for fast travel back to the airfield. Optional: Scout for some coke at airfield if you were unlucky with the compound cams. Then return to LS.
Next Weapons: Be sure you re MC and not CEO. Call the Sparrow and fly over Elysian island, call the Kosatka there. Start the Mission, if you get Merryweather Headquaters, launch a guided missile to destroy the Valkeryie. This mission is way too slow. Repeat until you got one of the other missions. Then land the sparrow at the warehouse on elysian island were you will store the Longfin and store Kosatka again. Then fast spawn your Oppressor as MC and fly to the Skyscraper. Land right next to the roof entrance and go inside. Take the weapons and fly towards vespucci beach. Ignore the Helis if they come. Call your Kosatka there and land on the nose. Be sure your Oppressaor doesnt wiggle on the Kosatkas nose.
Plasma cutter (needed in most cases. If you got the safe do this mission last). Fly to the hideout. After entering it you can take a pic of the planning board right from the entrance and leave again. Then fly to the heist spot and kill them with Rockets. Take the bag on your Oppressor, you dont have to get of it.
Fingerprint: Easy. Dont bother about turning off the first cams. Just strom in with your auto shotgun and make quick work.
Cutting torch: Just kill the guards with Oppressor rockets and take the torch. Way faster than sneaking around with the helmet.
Vehicle: Longfin is best. You have the most options with it. One of them is the fastest of all, the Longfin jump which is used by speedrunners. And the prep is fast if you got the Phantom Wedge. Kosatka Prep sucks compared to it.
Fly to the Police station. Store your Oppressor and spawn your Phantom Wedge. Take the Longfin and drive down to Elysian isalnd. Suicide there to loose the cops and done. Your Sparrow is still waiting for you there if everything went well with the Oppressor :) Sometimes you ll need the Sparrow earlier if the Oppressor falls off the Kosatka.
Alternatively you have to do the Casino Mission for the safe codes after Longfin: Fly to the Casino and store your Kosatka. Kill the guards with silencer and take the codes. If you got them just kill yourself. Mission completed and you can fly east immediately and call your Kosatka there.
Currently im at +/- 40 minutes for all preps + finale with this method. Could be faster but im not the best player when it comes to input timing and stuff.

Love your videos. They’ve helped me a lot. Only thing I do different is either setup the prep missions as mc president so I can quickly call in the mk2 next me or if I am a ceo I go into services and request mk2 there vs calling mechanic. Seems to be a time saver as well

The tip for getting the planning board photo is hilarious considering how perfectly lined up you need to be to photograph the actual board.

Love your work. The only thing I would suggest different is after you return from scope out. Set option spawn location to Kasatka and find new invite season. Don't drive sub yet. Start longfin and deliver. While driving toward dock and the cops are searching for you swap mask to lose one star. No one on RUclips has ever mentioned that secret feature BTW. The wanted level will be gone by the time you get to the docks when you use the train tracks as a shortcut. Then call the Kasatka go in and start the weapons mission. The Merryweather camp is right there if you have to blow up the helicopter. If you get a office for weapons fly the sparrow to office, leave towards the beach and call it in. Then drive the sub up and knock out the last three setups. If bonds take you to the Casino blow yourself up after picking up the code. Then find new invite only to teleport to the Kasatka. It's a little faster that way.

I park next to the pier, there's a floating platform near the jet ski jumps, you can.put your mk2 on. (Or park next to your yacht, with its air defences on)

For the Long Fin prep mission it's easier to hide from cops (no need to run in circles to loos them) when you on the way to deliver the Long Fin boat to the docks, simply stop on the middle of the RailWay bridge between the Arena and the Docks for 20 seconds. Cops do not go through that bridge (unless they are on foot and you are in their cones of vision immediately before you enter that railway to the bridge ), plus it is very close to where it needs to be delivered. This is a Railway ONLY bridge not the regular traffic bridge. Note: keep to the left side (when facing docks) bc there will be a train some times, when when you are there, keeping left will keep you safe.

The time you save by using the MKII over the sparrow is far less than I save by parking at elisian island and just using guided missile(s) to cancel the Merryweather weapons setup. Most I've had Merryweather in a row before giving me an office is 4, and using guided missiles from right next to merryweather, it was still a lot quicker than actually doing the Merryweather setup. The only part that is a biut slower with the sparrow is, as you say, the plasma pickup, and landing on the roof of the offices (there is an easy spot for each office, once u figure it out its easy).
Same exact situation for me, usually I get helicopter once or twice but I did get it 4 times before but that seems rare and the guided missiles plus restarting the mission is like 3 to 4 minutes tops. Still faster than following the helicopter cruising at half speed.
I just save the weapon loadout mission for last, if i see "merryweather" i just find new session until i get the office mission, takes only 20-40 secs to find new session for me

You glanced over a few things that newbies may miss. Thanks to your efforts and advice, I have hit the island many times, however,, even with your tutorials, had a rough start. Some shit you got to figure out .
When getting weapons from the building, I park my oppressor right at the roof door so I can get on it before the choppers appear
When I get the Merry weather HQ, I’ll park the oppressor a little ways away, so I can parachute towards it. Never have to deal with choppers.
Lastly, I put my sub on the beach right up to the tower. Seems to work fine. No tilt.
I literally walk through Cayo, taking out one guard at a time. But still I always take out that bastard juggernaut. LOL.
(I didn’t know you could take the photo just inside the door instead of running to the board. Great timesaver )

i havnt really watched any guides but from trial and error ive gotten my times from 20 mins missing the elite challenge to my best time now is 10:07 so its pretty awesome and exciting trying to get it faster and faster

Hey Ty, I love your videos, "Yeah, man!" LOL. I thought I would add something to your tutorial. When you do the weapons mission and go to the Merryweather locations. When you get into the plane, instead of shooting the guards, toss a grenade as you aim your weapon with the left directional pad toss the grenade just past the first guard to the right so it hits the crate in the middle. it will kill both guards and save you a few seconds. It has always worked for me, I hope you try it and it works for you.

Im rarely used Mk2 ever since this heist came out. Always with Sparrow since I can bring my buddy with me
I also used sparrow because I can spam the missile without worrying missile out of stock

My most used vehicle now is ceo vehicles and the dinghy
Mk2 is so much funner to work with sparrow is too big, with mk2 I can fly right up to doors, easily get off to pick up things (door codes) and just land it on my sub and enter into the planning room. But sparrow is cool too

I've never seen the office weapon mission where the NPC's just stand there like that. I typically like to use any mkII weapon with incendiary rounds. Merc (as Ty says) the first two guards, a fire starts, and cleans the office out by itself in short order.
I'm one more Heist way from getting the trade in price for the oppreser. 4 away from the ramp buggy. I'm so excited!

You can call your MK2 back with the personal vehicle option after you return the phantom wedge with the interactive menu. It doesn’t call the phantom wedge back in.

Using a few molotov to clear out the office (when going for the gun safe) is always fun. With just 1 or 2 you can clear the whole office...
Also when having to go to Merriweather I usually park the sub as close as possible and just use a remote control missile to take out out the chopper. Restarting takes seconds...

Brah, Love your videos, you helped me earn Millions with your tips. Unfortunately, I had to dislike this method because this was the ONLY time my MK2 is resting in the Terrorbyte. Still love you Bro, but i like using the Sparrow for the set ups. Only when flying on the roof of the office building for the weapons, I'll use the MK2 because it fits best on the roof. But that's me, & my style. The MK2 will remain my #1 Overall Grinding machine. Keep up with the great tips, and guides.
When doing the longfin mission if u don’t own a phantom wedge u can just go the truck that’s is provided in the map and go to the one at the bottom of it he map and there will be phantom wedge but u gotta kill sum ppl for it but it’s still fun and u get a free phantom wedge but when ur done with the mission the truck will catch on fire

Bro do it with your friend give him 85% then at the end when your escaping island and the cut scene kicks in just as the city comes on the screen makes sure your the host BTW close application your friend will get his 85% and you will get nothing but you will be able to do the heist straight away again without doing preps and as long as you have a good friend he can do the same with his heists for you, never do preps again and as my prim is the pink diamond my friend gets 1.9 million every 15 mins and vice versa

Bro take your time, it’s not a competition on who can write the fastest.
I been doing everything you're doin' including using the mk2, however I park the sub at elysian island for the weapons, plasma cutter, scanner and safe code (I may move the sub depending on where the weapons, scanner and plasma cutter is located). Then I move the sub to Pacific bluffs for the torch cutter. On the way to get the Longfin I restore the sub then request it at eylsian island once again. Plus i take the train tracks for the longfin. Waaaay faster. You'll see. And the mk2 wont sink if u start the mission and get back on it immediately after parking it on your sub.

I often find I run out of mk2 missiles with plasma cutter and Merryweather so I'll either pop into a close garage or blow Merryweather up. I've had max 3 times then get the office and I've done it loads. But everything else is exactly the same 🙂👍
Every time I get the MW HQ Mission what I do is I don’t even get out of the sub I just send a missile and destroyed the helicopter them since I’m inside the sub I just go to the panel and select the mission and most of the time I get a different one
That's what I do as well flying takes way to long and adds 10-15 minutes onto the mission the guilded missles is one and done and u onto building not flying out to bfe to waste time.
You can also register as an MC president to access the oppressor much faster 😊
But at the risk of a raid on your buisnusses happening

Nuh, get that sub on the beach. If you aim to crash into that Baywatch tower, you're good. This way when your MK2 falls off in doesn't land in the sea and you can just jump down and get it.
I do the longfin last, so once it's dropped off I call the sub and it will move over to the longfin dock next to me, makes it a little faster.
Got the merry weather weapons, you can join a new session which is way faster than missiles. It does debeach the sub though so if you do it that way best to do weapons second from last
I like parking the sub at the boat dock arena and park the mk2 on the dock. I use the upandatomizer to move the sub forward if it gets beached. Either way it's seconds different on completing the missions. You can parachute all the way to your sub from the mile high construction building after you get the cutting torch which is pretty dope.
I just park my mkII on the top floor of that construction site, saves a lot of fannying about in elevators, but granted parachuting to your sub sounds like a hoot, so I might try that one.
@Ty Idk if people know this but the longfine mission u can steal one instead if u don't have one what u do is go to the location where the police are and then pevel will give you the location of 3 haulers but the one that is by itself will be a phantom wedge you can steal for the mission
It takes me about one in a half hour to to complete all the preps and to complete the finale

@@r9iine I did kosatka as approach vehicle, move your sub near the beach But towards the airport and use the toreador to do the prep if you have one, sometimes when you do a weapon load out prep, you have to follow merryweather, steal a chopper to do the prep, also doing the elite challenge under 15 min. @@lishakalijee1190 shoot down the merryweather chopper then start that prep again, u will have to get into an apartment only. That's the shortcut, u don't need to follow that chopper. Use fast travel + heli to get off the submarine and oppressor to get back their (don't forget to return your oppressor when u are on the submarine)
You should time both the Sparrow and the Mk2 to see which one is really more efficient. Only time I use the Mk2 is with for the plasma cutter
The mk2 is a lot faster than the moon pool vehicle

If you have missiles on the moon pool vehicle is a different story than just having no missiles on the moon pool vehicle

The fastest I've done everything prep's and the heist was about 35 mins I get the longfin with my phantom wedge ,that's the only option if your doing it solo believe me you wanna hit the air strip bfor the compound and then get on the bike outside the compound and jump it of the cliff or wait to kill a npc in a boat and take that . 🙏but ty you da man bro keep it up because you have shown me bucket loads of stuff in gta
I hate the merryweather weapons setup
So many times I’ve had the helicopter blow itself up and fail because it shoots the ground in front of itself before technically being a target
The only thing I found to fix that is fly high up then wait till it lands and come down towards the tail end of the helicopter that way they can’t see you till it’s late enough to switch them to a target not a blue follow icon
Bro do this. Buy guided missiles and move your sub to E. Island and everytime you start up the setup and it’s merryweather HQ just blow the chopper up with the missiles and keep restarting it up until you get one of the skyscraper setup😁 it speeds things up.
Do the longfin mission 2nd to last, right before weapons load out. Return sub when flying to police location. Call in your phantom wedge or grab a truck on the way. Pickup the boat and drive towards the drop off location and call your sub in when you are close. After the drop off cut scene return the phantom wedge and call your personal vehicle back in. Your sub will be park right beside the merryweather HQ. Start load out mission; if you get merryweather use guided missiles to blow up chopper. If you can get back to the screen and start the mission while Pavel is still talking you will usually get a office building mission. Sometimes it takes blowing up several choppers but it’s still faster.
As soon as the scope out is over, I immediately request my kosatka which spawns on the side of LSIA to do my longfin. Upon exiting the kosatka, take it back to storage and take your longfin. After finishing the longfin, request your kosatka and do the weapon loadout prep (it will be faster to reroll if you get merryweather hq since the sub is next to the hq and you can blast the heli using the guided missiles.) Then place your kosatka on vespucci and do the last 3 preps while beached.
Plasma cutter is usually in the same place, I like to kill all those guys first, but you still have to go take a picture of the board and then fly back to where the guys are and then go to the Kasatka, not efficient but still fun
The better way is to pilot the sub up along side the helipad next to the air port , if you get stuck use the ray gun to bump it up all the way to get to the little docks that extend over the ledge on your right . It seems to randomly allow you to to pass sometime the water level might be highest , some times you can wiggly it right up there , but if I get stuck I trigger the mission exit the front , spawn the dinghy and just position my self in back of the sub , bump it a few times until the props are in the water and then call in sparrow or MK2 from the land to the left.
If your sub is beached and doesn't move as you approach you should be able to land you oppressor right on the door, but if its still mostly in the water it might just de-spawn if you land it on the sub .
alternatively you can land next to the dock and run off the ledge and jump to roll , and exit just climb up the wooden dock and go right up the ramp to mount your oppressor .
If you are new and dont have a sparrow or MK2 , parking next to the helipad at the ls air port will give you quick access to the stock chopper to make the first few grind a bit quicker .
I usually use the sparrow for the long fin , have the phantom wedge ready as soon as you land spawn and return the sparrow. I drive the wedge all the way to the off load spot and position it in the yellow trigger location, then jump out , killmyself and it clears the cops , jump back in and its good to go !
For the plasma cutter use the oppressor its easier to wipe the enemies out and take off.
finger print is basic stuff oppressor will usually let you go under the bridge easier.
Torch is best witht he oppressor
The thing that I do for the weapons is use the oppressor to make quick roof top get away, BUT I never do merry-weather , if I get Merry-weather weapons , I go and blow up the chopper and fly back and even 4 times takes less time than following the slow chopper out, from my tests you select the weapons you want and it doesn't matter what you select after its seems to be strait RNG , so it can give you 8 merryweather missions and really ruin your time save, or it can give you one of the high-rise building that are less than 40 seconds away , good rng it will give the high rise first try , bad rng is like 8 merry-weather mission in a row, it doesn't seem to matter if you reset the lobby or choose different weapons one you select and accept it locks that in and the rng is just strait up , nothing seems to be able to trigger the closer weapons.
( super edit ) YOU CAN USE THE GUIDED MISSILES TO TAKE OUT THE MW CHOPPER TO RESET THE WEAPON MISSION UNTIL U GET THE OFFICES !
a couple notes on the highest part , when gathering intel , when you look on the cameras , switch to the right , to the office and see in there is a painting . If you just hit the north dock first , you only have to kill 3 guards to get access to 7 potential loot spots, if its towards the bad rng side , you might get one coke, so if you know you have a painting then you dont have to fuss about getting 2 cokes , you will closer to max without running all over the island !
