I have just spent two weeks visiting the D Day beaches and museums So humbling to see where these allied hero's did so much so give us today Thank you .
You've done a outstanding job on your diorama . The attention to detail and superb scratch building of the terrain make it a first rate display . Thank you for sharing the video of you creating it .
Impressive achievement. I heard from a survival at radio, at the 75th anniversary of the D-day, that there were loads of hit soldiers after descending from the ships. The ones that followed the previous ones had to dive into the red bloody water. That must have been tough on the morale. RIP to all those brave men. "Toutes les guerres sont civiles, car c’est toujours l’homme contre l’homme qui répand son propre sang, qui déchire ses propres entrailles."
Great work, really amazing - But there's a HUGE lack of dead/wounded soldiers in that. Looks like the germans just let them onto the beach no problems. Everything else is fantastic.
An absolutely spectacular, intensely dramatic tableau! Extraordinary, and on multiple levels. Each element is a work of art. This in its detailing and grandness is befitting a history museum on the Second World War. Please create more for us.
It’s all perfection! Very realistic water with the bubbles, slight waves. Nice vehicles. I love the Sherman with sandbags on the front. I love the little men equipped with their canteens, weapons, mortars, stuff like that. Very realistic landscape. All was just exciting to look at!
Wow. Wish I had a good eye for detail like this. I always wanted to buy these model sets when I was younger and still kinda want to get back into it now seeing this vid.
Not even "Saving Private Ryan" got the anti boat blockades correct! So well done you on doing your research. Great job !!!! Thanks for this video, always nice to see how others create their vision. I’m in the planning stage of a multiple diorama of the USS Arizona with a 1:200 main model then attempt two dioramas with one being Dec 7th 1941 the moment of tragedy when the ship exploded taking all the poor souls with her. The other diorama being the ship today and the memorial built to honor those men. Videos such as yours as so helpful to people like myself who have not tried certain terrain such as water ect.......

It could be a section of Utah beach
Maybe they're the 3rd batch of the battalions. The first ones already got to the trenches or bunker and already occupied it.
Plus the beach is WAY WAY to small
