I own a 1973 Corvette as well. I’m not an original fanatic but I would like to mention that the 1973 does not have a passenger side mirror. Beautiful car.
Fantastic video! Nice car! I am from Madrid. Spain I would love to buy one from the same year and same color.(maybe red).. any advice or recomendation ??
I really enjoyed this video. I have the identical 1973 Car. Mine also a 350 Auto #s matching & St Louis made. Rarely do I come across one, in its original Color & Interior combination. Although mine is currently Millie Miglia Red, it was originally Metallic Yellow. Debating on if I should put it back as it came. Personally, I believe it would increase its value. Yours however is in much better shape.
Thank you so much, I'm really pleased you enjoyed the video. I'd like to do more this year, but I'm away so much. hopefully I'll get to do more though! It's so cool you have a '73 also & ironically, the year before, I'd agreed to buy a '73 Millie Miglia Red but Covid was still causing chaos in touring, so I decided to wait. Thanks again for leaving a comment. Have a great Easter. 😎👍
@@corvettecorral The Color is so period correct. Yet, everyone seems to love repainting. In earlier years, the color was known as War Bonnet Yellow. Millie Miglia Red is also correct. Red being a favorite to many. It is commonly known as 'resale' red ! Happy Easter to you & your Family.
Fabulous that you also have a '73! 😎👍 Such a perfect design. Originally I was looking for modified 1973 C3, but man am I loving it in its original factory production condition & it will stay that way! 🥰
Well let me be the first across the Pond to congratulate you on your C3 purchase. Beautiful car! I'm curious regarding parts sourcing in the future. Will you have to rely on imports from US supply houses (corvette/GM specialty parts companies) or is the market in the UK/EU substantial for OEM , reproduction parts,or even restomod upgrades?
Thank you so much! 🙏 😎👍 As for parts, there are a few UK specialists who retain a supply of parts. In addition, I'm fortunate to spend a lot of work & leisure time in the US so I will be able to pick up some smaller items myself.
Beautiful 73 sir! I also have a 73, just rebuilt the L82 small block engine, nothing over the top just fresh rebuild. I am looking to change the mufflers. Really like your exhaust sound! Can I ask what it is?
I'm amazed they let you drive that pick up truck in jolly olde. Usually there's a lot of sniffing and humming and hawing about inferior American vehicles at least so called inferior American vehicles in your country.. Nice car great truck 10-4 good buddy.
Copy that good buddy. There's actually a lot of love for American cars here in the UK, it's really only the headline attention seeking jurno's who pick holes (Looking at you Top Gear!) The C3 is also one of the best loved classic cars, it gets massive attention.😎👍
@@corvettecorral And you're a picker too. Maybe a drummer. I played many years in honky tonks, biker bars, hippie clubs and smoky dives in NorCal. Played with a lot of famous now dead folks. Looking forward to your '03 C5 Z06. Rock on...

@@corvettecorral Got it. But... I'm talking about that C5 Z06 you haven't purchased yet. The one in competition yellow with 32K on the clocks. It's waiting for you in some old fart's garage in California, you just haven't found it yet. As far as logistics, I worked the Hendrix tours in 1970 with the band he produced and promoted. Even met Michael Jeffries. Yikes! Jimmy was a cool dude. Oh yeah, Busby's Boys got their butts kicked over the weekend. Go figure those geriatrics got slammed. ;- )
Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime....(
That is exactly what my first 73 looked like!!!
Great color, I have the 1972 war bonnet yellow version of this car
Thank you. Such great cars - Enjoy your '72! 😎👍

You are indeed correct. It has has had one for at least the last 30 years, so not sure when it was added.

Was the engine rebuilt during restoration? You should keep an eye on oil consumption.
Thanks for that, it was checked fully. It does use a very small amount of oil, but not a great deal.
Vert nice car…I have an orange 73 64k miles I keep it original too…it feels like 73 with new old stock parts

What engine is in there?? sounds pretty gutsy!!
It's actually the small block 350 / 190HP / 5700cc V8
