I wasn't going to upload this, but think its important to show the reality of hill walking in Scotland. Even though I didn't get up the Munro, this was still an amazing day out with some stunning views in Torridon.. Stay safe out there.
Great video James.Awesome scenery up there. The pull up from Bealach is on steep scree and boulders to the summit and the soft snow really takes it out of ur legs.Always another time. It's neighbours Sgorr Ruadh and Beinn Liath Mhor is a fantastic circular walk on a ridge.Blew me away with the views.Loved how u changed from ur boots into ur trainers,lol.....class.🤣👍
Thanks for watching Andy, will definitely save this one for summer then, Sgorr Ruadh looked awesome so will look forward to doing that loop too! Haha If only it was that quick in real life 😂👍
Nice video, really liked the arial footage and it was for sure the right decision to turn back - no need to force things. Never easy but always right 👍. You have really some stunning outdoors at you footsteps, will have a look at your other vids later. Atb Stripey
Thanks for watching, hard decision to make, but can always go back and enjoy it again 😁 cant believe I am only just exploring these areas now, should have started it years ago 😝 all the best, James
@@ScottishMunroJourney absolutely! It is quite amazing how beautiful it is can't wait that things are getting back to "normal" as my local hills can't replace Mountains! Atb Stripey
That was a nice bit of footage! Enjoyed your aerial mountain views. The whole video works really well for me with you talking, music etc. No boring sections there, nothing confusing.. well done! Will check more of your videos. Have you been thinking sometimes to stay in bothy overnight to catch sunset/sunrise in mountains, I am sure it would look beautiful as you seem to be a master with your cameras.
Thank you for watching! Thanks for the positive feedback - means a lot! Yes definitely going to do a wildcamp/bothy trip this summer, looking forward to it 😝👍 all the best, James
Hi, really liking the increase in production values on this latest video. It's obvious you've pushed yourself to make the quality of your films as good as you can. Keep up the good work. I film everything on a GoPro 8 myself, but looking to invest in a camera that can take my films to the next level. And maybe a drone too...
Thanks for watching, put a bit more time into editing this one and seems to have paid off! I film most of mine on a GoPro 7 Black, but I found it kept glitching in the cold weather, so trying out the insta360.. The Mavic Mini 2 looks like an excellent drone if your looking for one 👍 Im a bit gutted I bought the Original Mini a few months back but these things happen 😂 Atb, James
Well done, good call. Remember 'Ch' in Gaelic is like the Ch in 'Loch' - not like 'Ch' in 'Chai tea' WalkHighlands have pronunciation clips under their walk routes, look for the wee arrow - but tbh some of the audio files are not the clearest. Other than that, cracking job!
Cheers Paul, slightly disappointed I didn’t get to the top as the views would have been great up there, but got to be safe.. its an insta360 👍 I quite like it but the editing will take a bit of getting used to 😂
@@ScottishMunroJourney I have been looking at a sony a7iii . A bit expensive but I would like to have a go at some photography too. Still need to convince myself though......🤪

The views are amazing, that´s a day well spend!
Well done, great to see you make the right call , it's important to show processes like this. It's had a good influence on me :-)
Going through your old stuff. Was interested to see this is where the change of style comes in. Really nice stuff and well done for turning round!
Haha thank you, the videos have changed a fair bit over the years 😂
Great to see that safety comes first and you're man enough to show us that not all attempts can be successful.
Its a tough decision after all the planning and prep but definitely the right one 😁
Very good! Amazing video🌐& Beautiful life👍
Blue skies and snow topped mountains, picturesque but bloody hard work walking through it 😉👍
Perfect conditions but still a nightmare to get through it, still a great day out though!
Enjoyed that none the less. Great footage and the voiceover added to it. 👍
Thanks for watching Gordon, trying to change it up a bit, hopefully add more useful information to the videos. 😁
Good call ~saftey first
Some view and good drone footage
Atb 👍🏽
Thanks for watching Dave, the mountains will always be there!
Atb, James

Cant take any risks going solo, still a great day out 👍
@@ScottishMunroJourney great munro done it in summer couple of years ago.
@@themunrobagger looking forward to getting back up there in summer, do the Corbett An Ruadh Stac with it too
No judgement, but did you have crampons and ice axe with you?
Yeah I had them, but it wasn’t helping as it was just deep powder 🤣👍
Despite not making it James, the views from this video were stunning! Cheers for sharing. Is that a gopro 360 camera? All the best. Paul.
