You do whatever you need to do to get you through this. I stopped caring about other people’s opinions and criticisms. I have been my husband’s caregiver for 13 years. It started with a viral brain injury and progressed into mixed dementia. It is at times an exhausting road, but does have some positive moments. We love sitting and watching the birds while having coffee. I recently bought him some fish for our pond and he really enjoys seeing them every day. Carry on and follow your gut. It can be complicated and heartbreaking.
No one should ask you to tape him in a bad day. And I can't believe anyone comments on your laughter. Laughter IS the best medicine! I can't believe Jason is so aware of his issues. My mother can see others confusion but is totally unaware of her own dementia. I pray you have many more good times together. 🙏
You Two were meant for each other!!! You both have a great sense of humor. You complement each other beautifully!! Jason, you are brilliant, funny and have such a great attitude. Leslie, your beautiful smile just radiates a room!!! I really enjoy watching you both. You have my heartfelt prayers in your journey. Thank you for letting us be a little part of your lives. My Mother had dementia, and I can relate to some of what you both are experiencing and going through. Wishing you all the best!!❤❤❤
I understand that these times must be tough for each of you, but I am so happy that you have each other! Jason you are very lucky and I think you realize that! Love to both of you.
I love to see any videos you both do together. I may not get to see them straight away. I will always watch when I can. I am binge watching at the minute…lol 😊
A support group is a must. Just knowing you are not alone. Please know I send prayers out to any family dealing with dementia. We lost my mother in law to Alzheimer’s 4 years ago. I wasn’t a primary care giver and I am amazed at the care my husband and his family gave.
Leslie you are an amazing human! Jason is so lucky to have you there to support and care for him. I would recommend talking to the doctor about taking magnesium for the charlie horses. Magnesium can help relax the muscles.
He is amazing, love his personality. I know how it goes. My husband was wonderful for soooo long. I have those memories. My guy is now in a memory care facility. He is doing well ❤ praying for you two, you’re doing great 😊
I love all the videos you post…we may not all be dealing with Lewey Body, but have various issues…your info helps keep us motivated to push through our days🙏🏼❤️ Thank You Both❤️❤️

He's in a supportive environment, where it's easier to come to terms with his situation.

Showtime sounds a little bit like masking, but even harder. I just thought that is a term more viewers might understand a bit, or at least heard of?
❤
I don’t think it would be kind to film him on a bad day.
