A good fic is The Avengers vs the Peter Factor by midnightwolf2192. I found it through another person podficing it - PJ's Reads - so I'm not suggesting that you podfic it unless you really want to, I just thought it might be a good waiting room fic

Oh, also, if you’re looking for good Irondad fics (I have read so, so many over the last 5 years, so my recommendations are legit ones), I’m reading one called Catch Your Own Happiness rn, it’s so good and still updating. If you’re looking for a good complete one, More Peril In Thine Eye is one of the best healing fics I’ve ever read. Actually both of those fics are healing fics tbh lol. (CYOH is the lighter of the two btw)

1. There are so many affordable mics out there I’ve tried a few but my favourite that I use now js this fifine one www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0B61C2WT5?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title also very much recommend a boom arm you can get them very cheap and they make such a difference sound wise
2. Yes always get permission from the author and give credit very important
3. Personally I mostly find podfics on ao3 I just include the Podfic tag in my searches
